Welcome Welcome

Recommended Posts

Hello just wanted to say hello to Tao Bums.
I have been practicing Michael Winn's Qigong in the morning for about 3 years ever since I developed some bad stomach issues and felt there were deeper causes.   And in the afternoon I tend to practice Bruce K Frantzis's techniques, and silk reeling from Ken Gullette.
My practice changes after every few months as required.
I also meditate several times a day in a Zen style, and study the books and scriptures from various traditions, for instance Course in Miracles (72 edition).
I have some recordings of the Tao Te Ching that I have slowed down and added a meditative backing track, and I often sit and soak in its wisdom.  I have done the same for the Astavakra Gita.
Soon I will receive a DVD for Liu He Ba Fa, which I will try to learn slowly as I would like to do some longer work.
A large part of my struggle is dealing with blockages on the right side of the body, but I will post about that later.
Thank you.

Hello, rideforever , and welcome.

Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go.

Please take the time to read the post pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum Terms and Rules.   This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Fa Xin and the TDB team

Welcome Rideforever,

Sounds like you have some great practices already.  Which Liu He Ba Fa video did you get? I have one by Liu Xiao Ling which is a very good one.

You are welcome to jump right in to the ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forum to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started.

May you enjoy your time here.

Fa Xin
