All forms of platonic geometric non-destructively collapse/expand. From my understanding this is what nesting is. Dodecahedral shapes are nested inside Icosahedral.

 

Interesting pdf - there are some ideas in there that don't jive though. Pentagonal geometry is only one frequency of the whole. Regenerative.
