Livening up water with Zeta Crystals

Recommended Posts

I remember reading a thread here kind of recently where people talked about various methods to take "dead" water and "liven" it up. It seems that the water we drink is basically dead due to all the processing it goes through. I find that quite interesting and something worth looking into since our bodies are made of water.

I've heard of this stuff called Zeta Crystals which I think is made from some minerals, I believe Scotty used it before. It says on the site: "Charging distilled water with electrolytic minerals not only re-energizes the cells, it also lowers the surface tension of the water making it wetter and more easily absorbed by the thirsty cells and enables nutrients to be more bio-available."

So I'm wondering if anyone has used Zeta Crystals and their thoughts? Any idea what's actually in it? Edit: I found the ingredients: Zeta Crystals Proprietary Blend -- Sea Salt, Fossilized Stoney Coral, Distilled Water

I'm also wondering if some of those people who were talking about using expensive means to bring energy back into water would comment on whether or not these crystals do the same thing?

I'll be watching this closely because I'm going on a detox soon and would like some alkaline water to facilitate the process!

I've been reading Daniel Reids book "The Tao of Detox" which really pumps this idea.. I wanted to get "Cleanse and Purify Yourself" by R. Anderson, but I don't have the dough for it and I found Daniels book at my local library!

I'm finding the book OK.. There are some solid ideas in there and some, not so solid; It will be worth a go anyway, I'm sure! :)

Can anyone vouch for the Ionizers?

They seem pretty solid..

Peace!

M, In my travels through the U. world, one of my fields of interest has been hydrology from the chemist viewpoint.

What it seems they are talking about with this is just adding common sea salt crystals to distilled water and maybe another unknown chemical that would raise the PH to 8.5 which is about the same as in a bar of soap.

As for myself, I drink only distilled water as it is the same as rainwater -without the pollution- and take vitamin supplements with minerals.

About 5 days ago, I have also begun with a very small amount of Turmeric, about 1/10 of a spoonful, which is about the size of one of my vitamin capsules. So far, I like the results of an increase in mental clarity/focus.

Here is a bit of an article on it:

http://www.healthdiaries.com/eatthis/20-health-benefits-of-turmeric.html

"Turmeric is one of nature's most powerful healers. The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin. Tumeric has been used for over 2500 years in India, where it was most likely first used as a dye.

The medicinal properties of this spice have been slowly revealing themselves over the centuries. Long known for its anti-inflammatory properties, recent research has revealed that turmeric is a natural wonder, proving beneficial in the treatment of many different health conditions from cancer to Alzheimer's disease.

Here are 20 reasons to add turmeric to your diet:

1. It is a natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent, useful in disinfecting cuts and burns.

2. When combined with cauliflower, it has shown to prevent prostate cancer and stop the growth of existing prostate cancer.

3. Prevented breast cancer from spreading to the lungs in mice.

4. May prevent melanoma and cause existing melanoma cells to commit suicide.

5. Reduces the risk of childhood leukaemia.

6. Is a natural liver detoxifier.

7. May prevent and slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease by removing amyloyd plaque buildup in the brain.

8. May prevent metastases from occurring in many different forms of cancer.

9. It is a potent natural anti-inflammatory that works as well as many anti-inflammatory drugs but without the side effects.

10. Has shown promise in slowing the progression of multiple sclerosis in mice.

11. Is a natural painkiller and cox-2 inhibitor.

12. May aid in fat metabolism and help in weight management.

13. Has long been used in Chinese medicine as a treatment for depression.

14. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, it is a natural treatment for arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

15. Boosts the effects of chemo drug paclitaxel and reduces its side effects.

16. Promising studies are underway on the effects of turmeric on pancreatic cancer.

17. Studies are ongoing in the positive effects of turmeric on multiple myeloma.

18. Has been shown to stop the growth of new blood vessels in tumors.

19. Speeds up wound healing and assists in remodeling of damaged skin.

20. May help in the treatment of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions.

Turmeric can be taken in powder or pill form. It is available in pill form in most health food stores, usually in 250-500mg capsules.

Once you start using turmeric on a regular basis, it's fun to find new ways to use it in recipes. My favourite way to use it is to add a pinch of it to egg salad. It adds a nice flavour and gives the egg salad a rich yellow hue.

Contraindications: Turmeric should not be used by people with gallstones or bile obstruction. Though turmeric is often used by pregnant women, it is important to consult with a doctor before doing so as turmeric can be a uterine stimulant."
