I don't usually discuss my experience on a public forum since misunderstandings can happen here. Here is the exception. I have and still do experience both internal and external space as a continuum of direct experience simultaneously. There is no one particular place of concentration unless I have need of that experience. This came directly from Namkhai Norbu coupled with retreats in which I practiced sky gazing and other practices. Am I able to describe this experience? Not really given that space and phenomena are inseparable.

No apology necessary! This can be an insanely confusing topic which can be discussed for the next million years or so. Perhaps confusion is the path to wisdom?

I appreciate what you are stating, but anyone not having direct exposure to Dzogchen transmission has no idea what you are talking about.

The main problem is that humans haven't developed a language to explain emptiness, no self, higher states of consciousness, etc. Teachings such as Dzogchen are mind to mind with symbolic representations which bypasses language. Disposing of the limited binary language that we are so accustomed to is a place to begin. In other words, one begins to realize real potential.

Important question! In terms of Dzogchen transmissions everyone will perceive it differently. I have been around any number of Dzogchen practitioners and for the most part there are differences in the experience. Although, I could be wrong.

I remember way back in 1989 during a retreat here in New Mexico that Namkhai Norbu said "just because it's an illusion doesn't mean it isn't real." That may not be his exact words, but close.

There are experiences that one may go through in this life and any attempt to convince others or even speak about it will not always be apropos in a public forum. Especially, if language is not precisely clarified and defined. Perhaps your experiences are best shared with someone other than this forum! There are warnings in many writings as to why one should not mess with certain energies or lust for dangerous experiences and so forth. Heed ones that have gone before you and know the warnings are genuine. Take it from me, I have had experiences that I would not recommend for the uninitiated.
