For me achieving this state of self-surrender is in the place between breaths, that "place" is achieved when not achieving anything, when not trying, when not doing. It's in the pause- the space between actions. Not as an idea or concept but felt as letting go into awareness. That is when I feel I'm getting a little taste of that self-surrender -Ĺšakti folding back into Ĺšiva-

@old3bobI especially like moth-eaten. @Nungali 200km where I live is also just a Sunday drive as well

Yes, though I'm not certain they are angels of the Abrahamic order. That white wash on the wardrobe is awful. Jeez, I'm happy you got what you wanted in the end. My Dad restored an Art Deco building very similar in architectural features to that former bank! What a fantastic historical structure, it would be worth the drive (for me). The veneer on my cabinet is lifting as well. It also has bakelite handles and knobs that I can't clean, I'll get it restored eventually. mmmm...really? Didn't notice hahahaha

My Experience With Black Magic

It's disgusting what happened to the Yazidi tribes. Melek Taus (The peacock god) is very interesting- embodying eternal light and considered the leader of the archangels, it's a very old religion with practices going back to ancient Mesopotamia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tawûsî_Melek.- 145 replies

I find that for me personally anything I do related to Enochian, even saying their words/language out loud brings attention to me. Not even necessarily the calls. I haven't' touched this paradigm deeply for that reason. I find that sometimes when using powerful esoteric tools in an unorthodox fashion will bring attention. Dope is a typical slang word mainly used to indicate that something is Lit, fire, cool, good. It's more of an urban term, from a particular era mostly 90's-early 2000's. What you made, in my opinion was art and it was "dope" or cool. lol Those Art Deco pieces are Amazing! I'm an Art Deco freak- Architecture, furnishings, accent pieces and jewelry. I love the lines and design elements from that period. I have a later era focal piece in my home as well. It needs to be professionally restored however. Same here with personal style, I love uniqueness and acknowledging when someone has put together a well thought out outfit. I often comment as well. I worked in the Interior Design field for a long time and most of my mentors were gay men, including my high school art teacher. They were really instrumental in helping curate my personal style-and teaching me to "own it" and pay no mind the haters. Those men were fierce and oh my could they ever party...someone else on here made a comment in another thread about "getting lit with homosexuals" (getting drunk or high with them in that context) I just chuckled when I read that-cause yes girl, the men I knew- they could out to party/dance everyone...unfortunately the rest of the thread was a strange and homophobic. Although I don't make my own clothes, I do thrift a lot, its a personal hobby (for furniture too) and I'm constantly looking at how well a garment was made- I look at fabric type, stitching (it is straight) and overall construction and steer clear of fast fashion- I really love vintage. It's so funny to me that now anything made/built in the 80's is now considered "Vintage." It's a mind warp really, considering I too was made in the 80's. Oh man, that Seinfeld sketch is hilarious..lol.

cleaning the dust in the all black kitchen would be a nightmare, plus all the greasy finger prints lol Black accents, however are great and super dramatic..adds focal point, etc.

Any high strangeness after painting the enochian tablets? Dope art by the way, maybe a little dicey though lol. yeah, so your using various textures and materials to create balance, sounds nice actually. teak is a beautiful wood, I have many pieces of teak in my home (I'm a sucker for Mid-century modern furniture). I totally agree, design is also a personal choice, when using a complementary (opposing colours on the wheel) scheme this has to be done delicately and with purpose. Hue and tone are important factors, I use this in my design choices as well. yes! large windows to let elements of nature into your home, it is a focal point, I too face an escarpment and just sit and stare at the forest. love it. I had this write up to add in your 1-3 theory thread regarding light and colour theory, I didn't post it as to not derail the thread haha. yes, tone and saturation are definite factors in colour choice as well, I agree. Nice restoration, however, I'm a traditionalist (in some things) give me that shiny red! maroon v. bengal red, you know lighting (natural and artificial) will effect how the colour actually looks on your walls. I've gone through so many swatches trying to pick the right colour for this reason. The colour palette and texture choices sound very sensual and cozy, perfect for a bedroom. I love velvet so much. I have this burgundy velvet dress - makes me feel like a million bucks when on! The doodle house nearly gives me a conniption fit-I feel a wave of mental instability when viewing it. I doubt I'd last 15 mins haha.

Unfortunately this guy has become an AI meme bot now. Pretty bizarre to have cars and roads the same colour, kinda dangerous. I agree with compound like-looking homes and commercial buildings as well. The days of ornate and beautifully carved facades is over. Even nice brick work is overlooked for vinyl exteriors.

In Feng Shui colour does have its advantages and practical applications, but in a broader sense colour theory is employed by designers (interior and clothing) as it has a psychological effects. The colours/tones you wear can either make look bright and compliment skin tone or drown you out or making you look washy. Bedrooms are a great example, consider the calming effect of having a light blue tone room, versus navy blue or neon green. Which colour(s) will promote rest and serenity? What emotional response is invoked when you see a deep red or burgundy bedroom with blue undertones? How about a fire-red room? Grey is a terrible choice for interior design, I'm so happy this trend is making its way out the door. It's depressing and yes, sucks the energy out of a space and invoking a cold and lifeless atmosphere. Think concrete.. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6120989/ There are other more esoteric elements to consider as well, take the 3 Gunas for example and the colours associated with them. We could also associate colour with the western elemental forces, as well as eastern (which is employed in Feng Shui). Balance is key and what designers strive by using colour, texture, lighting, scale and proportion. Colour is an important force to use in our lives and should be considered when you're designing any interior space whether it be commercial, residential, or even fashion. Your home should be a reflection of who you are and the emotional state(s) that you want to feel when inside of it or conversely your colour choices and design choices can be a product of your emotional state. What emotional response do you get from this home, could you live there or spend the night? Design matters, it's everywhere whether intentional or not.

Horse Stance And Stretching The Lower Body Builds Jing?
Lala Nila replied to Annnon's topic in Daoist Discussion
Try making the sequence of movement less dynamic by not protruding the hips out a much, that can stress the knees, space feet slightly further apart. Otherwise work on foot, ankle, knee, hip, and glute strength with movements and exercise at your level. Special attention should be place on proper form, always go slow and at your own pace. Consult a physio therapist for specific exercises and modifications. Knee strength is essential for mobility in later years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxVidLC4Oqo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IOX50Y7dso -
My Experience With Black Magic

just my own experience and opinion from being around a lot of different people in my life, maybe is was just him, sure. But, this is what he explicitly said to me. He was very direct in his opinion of me as well, extremely direct. It's certainly not a blanket statement nor is it prejudice to point out cultural differences and the way in which people interact with each other and social norms. Each culture has their own set of nuances and being an outsider it can be different to navigate them and break that code. I've had a few German boyfriends as well and they acted in a very similar tone. It takes time to understand the nuances of other cultures as we're all different. These differences are fabricated in my own mind- as an outsider trying to understand different way of doing things/interacting that I wasn't used to. But once you understand, then it becomes easier. A basic example of this is how the CIA instructs operatives on how to act "less American." Americans have a particular way of leaning on things that apparently is not common in other countries outside North America, this habit can be very difficult to break. It's similar with smiling. Smiling at strangers and greeting those walking down the street maybe normal and expected in some areas/countries, in others it can get you in a lot of trouble.- 145 replies

My Experience With Black Magic
Lala Nila replied to Nuralshamal's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
Javanese spirituality does draw from a lot of folk beliefs-animism, shamanism (Dukuns, etc) Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam. I have a few books on it, but I don't know anyone personally to learned from. I really like the talismanic, amulet and medicinal magick. Some incantations are directly lifted from Arabic and Chinese sources. Java is such a melting pot of cultures, religions and ideas. Ancestor veneration is also an important element. I do keep a shrine in my home! Yes! 108 super important number in Hinduism, this is the number of recitations I use currently for japa. I boosted it to 1008 one day haha. Nice catch on your part, yes, I see your perspective on these matters and I'm digesting them. I know what you mean about Dutch, Germans or Scandinavians- I had a Dutch boyfriend once and getting him to show any emotion was like drawing blood from a stone. He couldn't understand my passionate speaking or the very animated use of my hands when I spoke, apparently I was very emotional, just too boisterous, and moved from my heart as opposed to my head (non linear or illogical ?) hahaha. Maybe he was right, I dunno...I tend to be very passionate about whatever I'm invested in, to him even those "investments" were "wrong..' Took a lot of energy on my part to get him to laugh and be silly...I did eventually crack that code, however. lol- 145 replies

My Experience With Black Magic
Lala Nila replied to Nuralshamal's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
Yeah, no worries, I'm not easily offended at all. I don't run with the woke crowd or ideologies at all. There are undoubtable differences in race; morphology-skeletal, cranial structures, femur length, auras and spiritual adeptness, etc. Some races are better at somethings than others, it's an uncomfortable truth that is often used as a tool to discredit or give credit to various actions or personality traits. But, yeah..we are all of the creator, each of us has something special to add to the cake- and we all have our own struggles as well. I do believe in oversoul dynamics as well. My point was one more so of egregores and how they can function, specifically the christian god (and yes, my use of a lower case is intentional) and how political egregores also serve as inhibitors to access spiritual streams and development as well. I think the modern Germanic peoples are a very good example of this. Energy flows where intention goes. in your case with the black magic, I think it would have better (cheaper?) to use Middle Eastern based magic against the curse. Your wife, belonging to that particular oversoul and the magick being thrown at her would have been disabled with greater ease. The access points being easier to infiltrate; the practitioner would have been able to recognize and disable exactly what was happening, likely saving you thousands of $$$. Voodoo would have also been beneficial. I understand the concept behind fighting fire with water, but also I understand the concept of fighting fire by smothering- by a thick blanket - or with a greater more fantastical flame taken from the same fire pit. great discussion! I've enjoyed this thread quite a bit to be honest, kept me on my toes. lol- 145 replies

My Experience With Black Magic

speaking of dreams, I had a very interesting one last night involving an ancient feline type creature. It was wild in temperament, had pointy ears that curved inward and short grey fur. The wild feline freaked my domesticated cats out in the dream. Maybe Bastet related, I was researching some Egyptian rites yesterday.- 145 replies

My Experience With Black Magic

Hmmm, interesting theory, but I think it’s less related to skin colour and more related to modernization, industrialization, societal structures, politics and religious colonization (ie. Christianity). North Europeans had deep pagan and shamanistic roots prior to being forcibly colonized by the Church. The ties to the old ways and connections to those streams had been stamped out or dried up (for the most part), our ties to the divine feminine- The Great Mother was most dangerous to the power structure of the Catholic and later even the Protestant church-in where women were reduced to one of two ideas; Whore or Saint, our sacred sexuality stripped away, our knowledge of the magic of menses blood, birth and death rites fading into to history - or lets call that Herstory. Luckily some stores such as the Eddas still survive, Odin- who seems very much like Thoth, The concept of Yggdrasil, and Valhalla for example. Once we lose or weaken our connection to ancestral beliefs we lose other abilities as well. If a “newly” Christian young girl or woman began to site prophetic dreams, she should very well have been burned at the steak. We often view Colonization as something that never happened in Europe, but it did. It came bearing a cross-you convert or you die. Another example would have been The Roman Empire calling the Germanic Tribes “dirty” uncivilized, subsequently many Germanic Tribe members were forced into slavery, villages massacred, women and children raped or murdered. Later the Germanic tribes would inhabit most places the Romans conquered in Europe. The Romans thought far less of the Celts as well, calling them “Wood Demons.” It’s a long story lol. I also want to mention that Icelandic magick and Northern European paganism is still being kept alive today, although its practitioners remain a mere whisper of what it was prior to the conquest of the church. There is a resurgence of these practices. People can only be cut off from the ancestors for so long…Then the ancestors start calling and reminding. I also want to point out that Serbians and eastern Europeans are "White" and they have also been conquered by the church (Orthodox), yet many of their folk traditions remain, despite Marxism taking a stronghold in those regions as well as Russia. Same with the Greeks, though their ethnic admixture is pretty diverse.- 145 replies
