Disinformation in mass media / opinions is another threat in 2020s coming with the growth of the internet.

 

When there was recently fire tragedy in cinema in russia and 60-70 people died as the fire exits were non existent, non working and the doors were blocked.

 

So, a lot of people came on internet and spoke about 300 deaths, 500 deaths, 600 children dead and morgues full of dead people. Those people were literally hyping and profiteering over a tragedy / mass deaths.

 

Some of those bloggers have audience counted in millions of people.

 

Governments do have tendency to downplay issues, and media / bloggers has tendency to overblow the issues.

 

But overrall if china reports 81k cases, I would not think they have millions sick. Certainly not as bad as Italy.

From the video I have seen of China they do take some serious measures, with constant disinfection of public transport, streets, and places.

This thread was about brain development from qi practice, not about wang liping being the nicest guy in the whole world.

There was discussion about end goals of various cultivation systems, in most cases it boils down to immortality.

As for myself, I have confidence that at the very least if the death comes to the physical vessel, I will be able to have full control in the energy body, to move to the one of the spiritual planes, locate proper energy sources and keep going for few decades or even centuries before a necessity comes for another reincarnation.

Being nice to someone is not a skill and has no relation to cultivation of any sort.

You dont become nice after you fill dantien, you dont become nice after you gain siddhi, you dont have to be nice to people who consistently shit on your head and show disrespect.

 

I dont get why this forum ends so much in moral-fagging.

 

I can guess that people who cannot cultivate and develop siddhi, are spending their time pretending to be nice, to then compare themselves with others on the forum who are not "nice" and say haha I have higher level.

 

Nobody cares.

 

But when you cannot discuss cultivation, personal practical experience, it is painfully obvious for any practitioner that you are not up there.

I have heard reports of the most unethical behavior and scam from Wang Liping's senior students, purely a business to make money out of thin air.

 

I am not even going to ask, how do you plan to "learn from master" in a large group. All serious internal circle teaching is done 1 on 1, with 1 teacher and 1 student, not a group of 50-100-200 people.

 

From what I have read so far on this board, you have been on just one seminar of his, and claim you are his student.

At the same time you are trying to flatter the "Teacher" as high as possible to get more "ego benefits" from claiming that you are his student. 

It is so obvious for anyone who has a brain and eyes to see.

I doubt you become part of longmen lineage after visiting 1 public access seminar.

 

From what @freeform described even passing a test to be enrolled is extremely tough.
