  1. A good alternative would be child's pose for those that (still) can't squat or on those days you're not willing to suffer. Also, there's the benefit of the abdominal massage in child's pose.

Not sure what this is all about but I was referring to projecting outside the physical body (OBE, out of body experience) either consciously or unconsciously.

One can meditate on the knowledge of dream or dreamless sleep.

Yes but nothing to do with AP/OBE. Basically meditating non-stop in layman's terms.

If that is your interpretation based on your experience I respect that.

It's another popular siddhi but it won't happen to everyone no matter how hard one tries to develop this ability.

If it happens, cool, fun stuff but tbh better not focusing on it as it's highly distracting (like all siddhis) and there are practitioners that make money out of it and promote themselves as the ultimate teachers. This only reinforces the EGO.

If it doesn't happen, even better as you won't be distracted by it.

Sorry I don’t really follow you - but all good.  It’s an English obsession as to what is the North/ South which goes back to the Wessex/Danelaw division more than 1000 years ago.

    Thanks for clarifying.

All good, not looking for followers either.

hey you can’t give up 1000 years of history just like that.

No, it isn't easy. I agree with that. To be honest altough I'm aware that language is a living thing and evolves and surely can't be locked I am like you very conservative with it but just got tired of trying to win that war.

Without good physical, energetics, mental, Spiritual health, longevity would be more a curse than a benefit.

Couldn't agree more. I work in an hospital in the north of the UK where there are many 90 and even 100 year olds surprisingly very fit...physically. Besides genetics I think it must be the oats consumed daily for many decades. Unfortunately most of these people have been demented since their 70's.

Dementia is a terrible disease which I would compare to drug addiction, it destroys everything in its surroundings. I would blame mostly a culture of heavy alcohol consumption.

I know, I know. Living a crazy weekend so forgive me for the misspelling.

I could be a snob and excuse myself for the misspelling saying that I think in 3 different languages...

    That's a thought...

When I was in my early teens we had a TV that responded better to some of The Art of War techniques though.  It was old and would attempt to conk out right when they were showing a Polish series that ran in the daytime after school, "everybody" in my class watched it and I had a crush on the main protagonist to boot.  So that TV acting up right when his pretty face showed up was infuriating.  I tried kindness but no go, so I would give it a beating.  It worked.  There was a particularly sensitive spot on its side and if you smacked it there, the pretty face reappeared and the TV behaved.  Different strokes...

To think that in the future today's kids will feel nostalgia regarding the 2020's...

    That's a thought 🤔

This may be a radical statement:  the human is more than its genetics

The genetics provide a vehicle for various spirits and groups of spirits

Blavatsky wrote that the invited spirits refused the original human format

My guess is "IT" won't believe you.

    Not that you are wrong...

Grok, can we talk about AI?

Absolutely, let's dive into AI! I'm Grok, built by xAI, so this is basically my favorite topic. What specifically are you curious about? The latest breakthroughs, how AI is changing the world, ethical dilemmas, or maybe even some wild predictions about the future? Hit me with your thoughts! 🚀

Sure, what will be life on earth like for the human race in 20 years?

  11. I don't often feel depressed but these days I feel depressed often...

It seems like one day I woke up and suddenly got inside of a sci-fi film

    ...

Maybe it would be bearable if we had 5 decades to adapt?

    We won't...

    Well...

  12. I remember a time in my life when I was trying eye exercises and found out that calmly looking at one object at a time would leave me very peaceful and serene. Forgetting the aim of getting better eyesight I kept on doing it for the sake of peace of mind. A few months later my eye exam showed that I had inexplicably less two diopters of astigmatism. That convinced me that the Bates exercises really work.

I bought some pills which you take two a day and have black pepper extract for absorption.  The dose is 560 mg turmeric in powder form.  I was told that eating turmeric in food was not enough because the powdered turmeric is only a few percent actual herbs.

I buy organic turmeric and keep away from the capsules. Hope you make the best choice for yourself.

  14. Hi Apech. I try taking turmeric daily altough it rarely happens. My way of taking it is with tomato passata ( it helps with the sensation of dryness sometimes caused by turmeric in the stomach and liver) and some olive oil for absortion. I mix everything with a little water and take it. Still didn't "really" notice the big anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric. Not saying that they aren't real.

I've noticed however the big anti-inflammatory properties of Boswellia Serrata (Indian frankincense) that worked better for me than NSAIDs.

Beware of curcumin suplements which are causing too many reported health issues.

So is it possible that there are medicine pills that can help in cleansing the body of impurities?

Yes indeed. Just keep in mind that those "pills" are made in " nature's laboratory" and the alchemist should be "nature's monkey". Anyway wasn't the design of "pills" taken from nature in the first place?
