Hi Apech. I try taking turmeric daily altough it rarely happens. My way of taking it is with tomato passata ( it helps with the sensation of dryness sometimes caused by turmeric in the stomach and liver) and some olive oil for absortion. I mix everything with a little water and take it. Still didn't "really" notice the big anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric. Not saying that they aren't real.
I've noticed however the big anti-inflammatory properties of Boswellia Serrata (Indian frankincense) that worked better for me than NSAIDs.
Beware of curcumin suplements which are causing too many reported health issues.

Yes indeed. Just keep in mind that those "pills" are made in " nature's laboratory" and the alchemist should be "nature's monkey". Anyway wasn't the design of "pills" taken from nature in the first place?

Teenagers have the right to watch good interviews of kung fu masters with superpowers, you know?

Interesting that behaviour of rolling on top of the dead body of the snake or where the kill took place? The cat does it in the following day as well.
My dog does this everytime she finds the body of a dead animal (crow, frog).

Hi Sahaja and thank you for the topic.
When I decide to experience with mudras it only usually takes a couple of days before I start feeling energy being expressed. Altough I never read or hear anyone talk about it I feel the energy coming from outside which makes me feel that the mudras work as some sort of invocation of that energy.
For years that I think about starting this topic here but never managed to convince myself of its utility... like the bs literature related to it.
Thank you for sharing your experience 🙏

I can relate to that as I still remember the turtles at home as a child and how the harmonious mandala-like shape of the shell fascinated me then and now still.
And of course the longevity thing, quite fascinating

My favourites would be the ZhuangZi and the DDJ threads...
Which makes me think that there are absent members of this forum that I don't miss much because I often make them very alive and present by reading them.
And didn't those blabbermouths leave a lot to read, to consult, to learn from?

Super healthy, never saw a vet in her life... She was well over 20 when car traffic, nonexistent throughout her life, increased in that area, and one of those monsters got her. She just wasn't used to minding cars, a late addition to her habitat.)
And you will love her forever...
It is something new to me as I quite often accused people of loving their pets more than humans but now I do understand.
Just remembered one of my favourite songs which I'm going to listen to now

I've learned from cats all my life, and consider my grandmother's cat, who was 5 years older than me, my first taoist teacher.
Indeed. Too late in life I've understood Chief Seattle's words about life without animals resulting in a big "spiritual solitude". You do gain alot of wisdom from animals. It comes at a price it's true but you get the goods if you're attentive...
It came to my mind now this moment that I had with an eagle. I was walking in the fields completely lost in neurotic thoughts, too afraid of what tomorrow would bring and suddenly I look up and see this eagle in its calm, slow flight, owning everything, the immensity of the sky as well as the whole land. Unforgettable moments which wake you up from the human troubles.

In my case it's a dog. Here goes,
1. Long daily walks in nature are mandatory.
2. Stretch at least 7 times a day.
3. Yawn at least once every hour.
4. Fast regularly.
5. Eat only when you are hungry.
6. Roll a little on your back every morning.
7. No resentments.
8. No need to think so much of tomorrow. Live in trust.
9...in progress

I do believe you @Dainin and am very empathetic with your concern.
As you know, for me, your posts are some of the most valuable in this forum. Really hope the situation will be solved.

Just thought I'd point out that the search engine for the site doesn't appear to be working correctly.
It never did. For me it was always easier to use google search as suggested by Marblehead a long time ago.

I buy organic turmeric and keep away from the capsules. Hope you make the best choice for yourself.
