Hi! What is jade bones?
-
Yes! Based on some movements of the 5 organs with some extra movements.
-
Yes, daogong is really good! Yuxian pai warm up is new, no daogong...its like s simple qigong to open up based loosley on the 5 organ movements. At least in regular classes daogong is not taught before yuxian pai....only the yuxian pai basic qigong.

Hi! Looks like from daogong. 😮 I was told that daogong is no longer taught. Yuxian pai has its own basic qigong for warmup before the 5 organs work now. I was not aware that there are 2 different forms of kidney shengong...interesting. Was taught that the 5 organ methods do replenish small amounts of yuanqi when one reaches a certain depth of practice. Yuxian pai is still taught online in russia and Australia. Wuliu pai ancient northern method is also taught online since 2023.

Yeah, these non public south east asian buddhist lineages are super fascinating. They seem to be closer to the Tamil siddha lineages than modern buddhism. (with all their alchemical work etc). Do you want to share a bit more what you have experienced there? -

Yes you are right about the immortal body in neidan but not about buddhism. In vajrayana there is the accomplishment of the pure illusiory body (there is also a practice called illusiory body but this is something different).... seldom talked about.... here the very subtle mind merges with the yidam (which is called a deity but is not a deity but an enlightened buddha) and they get the body of that deity. There are also some non public alchemical buddhist lineages in Burma and Myanmar that create light bodies. Freeform was in one of those lineages (highly esteemed ex member here). 😊 -

Hi! That is not true from what i have been taught. While there are some Neidan texts that suggest that golden elixir is the true nature others dont. What one has to understand is that neidan texts are alchemical texts meaning they are mostly useless without lineage or divine inspiration (very rare). In the same way one cannot make the external elixir (the philosophers stone) from reading texts about it one cannot get anywhere or understand much when reading alchemical texts without teacher and direct experience. The golden elixir reveals!!! ... the true nature in a deeply embodied way because it is the merging of xing and ming.....meaning the deepest form of inner division is neutralized .... xing = preheaven yin, ming = preheaven yang. Ancient neidan does not talk about returning to the Dao but about repairing it within the bodymind (through the merging of xing and ming). At the same time the golden elixir makes one earth immortal which means the physical body lasts for a really long time. Much here appreciated freeform had known a living immortal master (they appear not only in daoism but also in Tamil siddha tradition or the wizzars tradition of Burmese).
