  1. Yes definitely, and also in my experience its about what you eat, like someone once said everything that sticks to the pan also sticks to the colon.so if you eat rawfood or maybe just veggies and no grains (or sugar, cheese etc.) i also experienced that you dont even need toilet paper but for me it doesnt really work out at the moment i cant really socialize if i do.so i enjoy my cheese and wine but for energy i am still a fan of living mostly on nuts and seeds and some fruit to get your vitamins.three days on hempmilk only nearly felt like fasting...
  2. Interesting! Before some years i experienced it spontaneously, i was just full of energy and eating felt disgusting so i just lived on water for 3 days did a lot of qigong and physical activity in this days and i even had more energy on the fourth day, was also extremely happy and felt fresh but it was so intense that it frightened me so i forced myself to eat again.Ah i forget to mention that i was on this no grain diet at the time and i also didnt intended to do it.In that year i was made to do fasting before every fullmoon but i think this things are not meant for doing in society and shouldnt done by purpose, i think bigu is more a state then a practice.
  3. What does everyone practice :)

I practiced zuowang style meditation and zhang zhuang ( lam kam chuen way of power) for up to 6 hours a day for ca. 7 years then a lot of "crazy" things happened and spontaneous movements appeared ( from new stances to circlewalking, mudras, sounds and so on.Since then i am into this "spontaneous" practice.I just stand or sit , meditate and look what happens.
  4. The ethics of revenge

I think revenge has a lot to do with being overly emotional and clinging to the past and to the parts of yourself that get or got attacked .dont want to say that conflicts shouldnt be solved (with words or physical) but it should be done in a neutral state of mind and if possible directly or a short time after the conflict happened.I am not saying its easy and what also came to mind is how many little revenges happen al the time like ignoring persons because they didnt show respect to you and and and...I think the point that distinguishes revenge from lots of shotty behaviours we all do is the point that you usually plan it so i think rage is really "evil" behavior.
  5. A fresh start

If you want to let go you first have to grab things it can be hard but others also managed to do so... wish you all the best on your journey!
  6. It may sound contradictory but zhang zhuang (standing meditation) made me much more flexible.I recommend the books of lam kam chuen! He also has great warm up exercise that could be a system by themself Just standing and sitting and later some spontaneous stuff made be flexible enough to sit in foll lotus which was absolutely unimaginable when i started with all of that. I somewhere read when you do stretches for mobility you have the risk of loosing power in your joints while taji or standing exercises will me make you flexible and strong...
  7. Gathering qi by different ways

I think you can have it both ways... like the deeper you go into your center you realise that its actually everywhere and nowhere.like if you search the middle of the middle... its endless, everywhere and nowhere. What i also noticed that the dantiens kind of got formed in my spontaneous practice(like i described earlier), they felt very different from bringing energy under the navel like in qigong, feeling more like portals made out very different energy. To phil48: The energy feels also electric/magnetic like in regular qigong but more refreshing, nourishing and also kind of spirit like or like consciousness.and its more like its directly from the source of everything then from nature(trees , stars etc.
  8. Gathering qi by different ways

Yes i understand and the qi can feel very different...
  9. Gathering qi by different ways

    7. See but dont look at what can be seen look in every direction and also nowhere (same with feeling, hearing , smelling) dont differentiate between up-down, left-right...inside-outside, likes dislikes. I think 7. Is a result of 6. If done with eyes open, and for me it incorporates also 1-4 like doing arising from nondoing. Its always hard to express those things...really looking forward for comments
  10. Wim Hof's Meditation

I once read that that people here in europe, in older times where nearly always wet and cold so i think what wim hof does is only special in our modern times (his under ice diving is another thing) and in the book walden by the author Thoreau its said that when the first europeans went into the jungle ( dont know the country or continent anymore) they had to make big fires at night while the people who lived there stood behind them 30 feet away sweating . For me it was just a great experience to get warm by breathing and not on relying on external helpers like hot drinks or a warm shower.
  11. Wim Hof's Meditation

I really like his stuff but i dont want to force anything.I like to swim in a cold river thats not far from my house.Normally i take a hot shower afterwards or drink something hot but one time i just meditated afterwards and funnily i just started to breath like in tummo and after maybe 20 minutes i felt warm again, it was one of the greatest experiences in my life i just did zhang zhuang, acxepted the cold and meditated, i also experienced some movements and sounds that seemed to push the cold out of me.So i think you dont really need a method... just go into the cold and meditate deeply.
  12. Going vegetism and beyond

For me it came all spontaneously as a result of practice.I only forced myself to stop white sugar and wheat and cheap meat all other changes in diet came by themselves... even fasting.
  13. Going vegetism and beyond

I think we are more like cows then wolfs i am not against meat eating but i can say that i even had more weight on a raw vegan diet then ever before.i gained lots of weight in a few weeks by eating lots of nuts and dried fruit.you can also use coconut oil to get saturated fat.i was vegan for 10 years rawvegan and grainfree for nearly a year and i never had so much energy before.after it i tryed everything again but more to get some grounding again.
  14. Qigong Grandmaster John Tsai

Thank you voidisyinyang! This was really interesting for me to see because i am also into energetic healing since a few month and when i do it i just meditate on the person that is going to be healed and at the same time going into an "empty" mind state the my hands do nearly the same things that those of this master do.like making fist and throwing stuff away and also go to dantiens and crown.ones persons neurodermitis just went away and i just wanted to work on some backproblems the persons also reported feelings of bliss and joy after it.so i find it really interesting to see it for from a real master!
  15. A question for everyone

    Clap
  16. Accidently fajinning someone from my foot he stepped on it while practing push hands. (I think it can be explained by physics alone) Sending someone to the ground by just just tapping on the arm he punched with (he was shocked...said he was taken out of life for 3 seconds) During practice my body often feels very light kind of uplifted...or the feeling that the movements are completely effortless like completely driven by spirit. A few todays ago while walking through the forest a stick poked into my stomach and it just broke (i didnt notice it)Also if practice is good and i pat myself after it, its like as if the force just goes through. On the energetic level ( i do massage and sometimes a spontaneous energetic healing) the people i treated all experienced something from it (tingling from head to to toe , feelings of fresh air , seeing colors when my hands were in front the third eye, to even be drawn away physically (the person said it was like be drawn by a string). Ah and when i do massage i let my fingers vibrate effortlessly and blocades go sometimes away in seconds. One person noticed that my hands generate lots of heat and i can switch it on and of in a second and the person being treated noticed it. I also experienced long distance healing with a friend i made here taobums.we both felt exatly when the other one started and stopped. That was pretty amazing.
  17. How to meditate correctly

Listening inward while listenig outward (in all directions), watching in inward while watching outward (in all directions) feeling inward while feeling outward (in all directions) ,together with a feeling of trust in everything.
  18. buzzing sound

I am also familiar with internal sounds. I would just suggest to listen to it and "try" to find the source of the sound.Like listenening inward deeper and deeper...
  19. Spontaneous qigong

Sorry tried to imbed a new video but i failed haha
  20. Spontaneous qigong

After a long time i "dicided" to pick up my sword again... i see it more as an antenna then a weapon maybe some of you will enjoy it...
  21. Cannabis and Qi

I was really addicted to it for long time then i started cultivitang and it became less and less, i was fetting really sensitive to it until at one point i just did have to stop it the feeling was like it did something really bad to my crown chakra.... just my observation
  22. The first 3 steps to aligning with the Dao

1.Do little 2.Do less 3."Do" "nothing" until everything gets done.
  23. Neck pain and Zhan Zhuang

Hmm i also did lots of zhang zhuang maybe you could try to relax more and let gravity correct your posture.
  24. Counterbalancing Good & Evil

I think this a good example on a physical level: And for the topic i think it should be named counterbalancing good and evil. If there there is no intention to help or hurt anyone then you are neutral and free of "karma" but that cant be forced its more like observing yourself until everything fake is gone...
