  1. Why is that ? Does it seem 'threatening' or something ?
  2. is there a metaphysical connection

    I charge my disciples to let me beat them . Joining fee ; $650. Snide verbal abuse session : $145 . Physical and emotional abuse $185. Smell my poo-poo $220. Special ! One day as Muk yan jong $ 360 .
  3. ... also you could answer the questions I asked you .... instead of diverting away from them.
  4. Why would you think that ? Without even knowing me? All you have to do is read some of my posts on the subject on this forum - there are heaps of them ! I have been studying and practising western hermeticism and magic for over 40 years ! As far as 'experiential' goes, I not only have practical experience, my practices were written up as experiments in diaries and journals, I have about 5 volumes of them . I excavated, built and operated my own temple, where many an evocation and invocation was made . Here are some pictures ; we could talk further about this, and you could potentially be enlightened about what you asked for .... if you can change your assumptive and dismissive attitude
  5. THROWING the I Ching?

    What 'yarrow stalk' ? Chinese yarrow must be different. I have been growing yarrow for years ( for use of its other properties) and kept the old dried 'leaf' and flower stalks , neither of them seemed suitable - fragile and easily broken . I was surprised how well it works in its application to stop blood flow and heal wounds ... bad wounds (also called 'Soldiers herb or woundwart .... and soldiers wounds , back then, were not all that trivial ! ... sword and axe cuts ! But how does its properties apply to divination ? What makes yarrow a plant for divination ?
  6. different kabala trees

    " somehow more 'sophisticated' when used in kabalistic magic " How so ? .... then again there is the 'Nungali Tree' . 'Sophisticated ' .... when used in personal astro-psychological magick

    ... true story that ^ . Interesting phenomena ; 'I feel like it’s pulling me': The dangerous trance of Niagara Falls When we stand in a high place, our fear circuitry may send a signal like 'Back up, you might fall.' THE WATERFALL (Ellenbourough Falls ) ‭She stepped off oh god‭ how could she have done that‭ what space must your head be in‭ to be able to do that‭ she stepped off‭ I imagine‭ calm and serene‭ not screaming and clawing‭ and falling down,‭ ‬down‭ but streaming through‭ ‬the layers‭ of swirling mist‭ to the rain forest floor below‭ like a rainbow arching down ‭ to ground itself in the earth she stepped off‭ beside the plunging waterfall ‭ at the top of the vast vertical rock abyss at the head of the steep deep‭ twisting serpentine gorge‭ right at the top of the world‭ right at the top of her world‭ she stepped off right at the top of her world‭ young beautiful and healthy‭ (they told me‭)‬ the last person in the world‭ you would ever imagine‭ who would do such a thing I have stood on that very spot‭ and tentatively peered‭ over the edge‭ into that vast vertical chasm‭ watching the water racing down‭ and turn to spray‭ and felt that urge to fly myself‭ down to the rain forest below‭ and quivered‭ ‬and tried to inch back‭ from that spot ‭ the inexorable force drawing me down‭ to where the tops‭ ‬of the giant rain forest trees‭ are bunched together‭ like far away broccoli. Get away from there‭ a voice shouted‭ I turned‭ (without falling‭)‬ the old uncle emerged from the bush‭ he took my arm‭ pulled me from the edge‭ and looked deep into my eyes we sat‭ ‬staring into each other‭ by the swirling pool‭ his black crystal eyes ‭ surveying my pain his dark skin wrinkled from searching my face It's the tail of the Rainbow Serpent‭ Gunabar told me‭ the twisted gorge is his body you have to be careful here‭ you’ll fall right into it‭ he talked‭ I asked questions‭ he looked at me through me‭ you ask me questions‭ questions about energies and places‭ I'd say to you‭ ‬ Gunabar said to me‭ it's all about love‭ it all comes‭ ‬down to love‭ from your heart and then I heard the story‭ for the first time not long ago ‭ a young white girl from around here‭ stepped off the edge it's not the first time she was happy‭ ‬they said nice girl‭ good job‭ nice car‭ why did she do it‭ they didn't understand she left a note at the top‭ I found that note I‭ ‬couldn’t find love anywhere‭ it said‭ the only place‭ I could find love was here‭ that's all it said‭ she left that note‭ at the top of the waterfall ‭ and stepped off my heart was‭ ‬shaking‭ my eyes watering‭ a giant ball of emotion‭ was surfacing‭ from some deep part‭ ‬inside myself‭ I looked down the valley‭ I turned and looked‭ ‬into Gunabar's eyes‭ they were like black far away pools‭ they were like places I have never seen the white people didn't understand‭ ‬ I understand‭ he told me they had a service‭ at the top of the falls‭ they floated flowers‭ ‬in the pool at the top‭ I floated a broken branch‭ and a broken boomerang‭ ‬ symbols of a broken life‭ my offering went over the edge the flowers‭ ‬didn’t‭ they got stuck in a whirlpool‭ ‬at the top‭ I gently pushed them over the edge with a stick I have since returned‭ and stood in that very place‭ high above the clouds‭ and been drawn again‭ ‬to that roaring air‭ that same place‭ where Gunabar told me that story‭ not at the edge‭ ‬beside the falls‭ but around the side‭ near the lookout‭ where you can see the whole drop‭ and I‭ ‬can’t help thinking‭ what space must your head be in‭ to be able to do that the shock of the first news‭ ‬is still there it probably always will be there‭ she stepped‭ ‬off‭ oh God‭ how could she so now I sit‭ inexorably drawn‭ and look at the view‭ the drop‭ the falls‭ and I imagine‭ that young beautiful girl‭ that child of nature‭ feeling so much love‭ but finding it nowhere else‭ gazing out over the mountains‭ head held high‭ standing on the edge‭ beside the plunging roaring‭ drawing‭ ‬water‭ and‭ ‬gently‭ stepping on the air I imagine her‭ calm and serene‭ smiling and streaming down down‭ the spark of her soul‭ a streaming meteor‭ accelerating through the air‭ down down‭ through the layers of swirling mist‭ hurtling towards ‭ the far away now zooming closer ‭ broccoli forest below not screaming‭ and falling down‭ but plunging‭ unstoppable‭ totally committed‭ into love.
  9. 'Astral' 'metal body' .... even 'etheric body' are modern terms thrown around by people who usually cant explain in detail what they mean. Their origins are mostly Theosophical, and in that light can only really be understood within those frameworks. Its not as if it is something 'real' it is a concept that developed over time from Proculous and then followed the usual development of 'western occultism' ; Mesmer, Levi, Golden Dawn, Blavatski, Theosophy and latter Theosophical writers and others , including Crowley ( who attributed its existence to the power of imagination ) . Basically astral comes from aster - star and the 'astral concept' originated from the old hermetic world view. The 'astral realm' actually consisted of the 'heavenly realm' which contained the 'spheres of the planets' with the 'mundane world' at its core . This gives the significant number of '7 spheres' , the original Theosophical concept ; http://www.theosophywales.com/seven_bodies_of_man__a_brie.htm read the section on astral; we can see it was originally a type of 'emotive imagination' function of the mind . The 'mental body' is really no more than the mind and mental process with the added on thing that a mind makes 'mental waves' and this somehow effects the 'astral world', somehow changing it and now making that the 'mental; world' . These 'teachings' came from post Victorian westerners who first encountered 'oriental mysticism' and tried to put into other terms , not very successfully and often confused eg : " Astral Body is a term used to refer to one or more of the subtle bodies of human beings. In early Theosophical literature it was usually applied to the Liṅga-śarīra, the ethereal counterpart of the physical body. However, the term was also used for other subtle bodies, such as the Māyāvi-Rūpa. Later, Dr. Besant, within the tradition followed by the Theosophical Society (Adyar), redefined the terms to apply them in an unambiguous way. She used the term "Etheric Double" for the Liṅga-śarīra and "Astral Body" for what she called the Emotional Body. " And here is a great example of how the New Age got so confused trying to follow all of this :" She also talked about the conscious projection of this subtle body, using the phrase "astral form" for it: " Sometimes this 'astral form' is called 'body of light' . Then besant did some swapping (like most post Blavatski Theosophical authors, they re wrote, censored, watered down Blavatski ) " She decided to call H. P. Blavatsky's linga sharira "etheric double" and use the name "astral body" only to refer to the kamic or emotional body: " It wasnt long before some started throwing the whole mess out. Lets just stick with 4 basic 'bodies' , the Anthroposophists ( Steiner etc.) decided that , based on the 4 elements used physical 'astral' and 'etheric' but added 'ego' (of a specific type ) . This went along with the basic Qabbalistic understanding of the '4 types of soul' . https://wn.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA319/English/APC1928/19240724p02.html Thats mostly the system I work with ( a 4 fold division - not a Steiner version ) ; Fire, water, air, earth ; the 'individual nature', the emotional 'body' , the mind and intellect and the physical body . (And each of these has another 4 fold sub division eg. the body has fire as the nervous system, water as the circulatory system, air as respiritory system and skeleton ,muscles, tendons etc as earth.) I have to say though, I dont really understand what this means : " It is used in evocation/invocation of spirits. Actually most 'evocations' have the purpose of meeting the spirit on the mental plane and connecting with them there. The physical dances contain and support the astral forms which make the bridge for connection at the mental plane - focusing consciousness upon the mental plane so your meeting them there is 'clear' to you." A lot more than the 'mental body' is used in spirit evocation - I suppose that depends on meaning of 'mental body'. 'Most' evocations seem to have the intent of a breakthrough into the physical plane Can you put this into other words : " The physical dances contain and support the astral forms which make the bridge for connection at the mental plane " ?
  10. Is there unnecessary suffering?

    And ..... ? And I merely read into that 'statement of fact' what it suggests . Maybe I was wrong to do that and its merely a random 'statement of fact ? It rather tempting to me now to make other 'random statements of facts' ... that have no other suggestive meaning at all ..... Well .... thank goodness ! There ^ our perspectives don;t differ ! Rant ? ! Why would I want to rant ? I shall tell you how awful rants are, they are the bain of human existence! . If rants were plentiful humans would become extinct! Extinct I say!! Humans also need to pick cherries with automated cherry pickers as this results in more plentiful harvests resulting in more people whos brains have been nourished by cherries and intelligent cherry nourished people are less likely to rant than those raised on blueberry farms, because they are subjected to blueberry fumes, and they are toxic, like non toxic glue , made of horse hooves. Horses can also help prevent rants as you cannot rant while riding a horse and you can't ride a horse if there aren't horses because they have all been made into non-toxic glue. ..... the rest of this rant can be followed on my upcoming TV series ;
  11. Fake "Bob Dobbs"

    Its called Most mistake this as a 'defensive stance' ... but really it is the 'stance' one takes after receiving a 'gedan mi-geri' * ' *

  14. Is there unnecessary suffering?

    What does that mean ? ' Motherland ' ... where one was born , where one's ethnicity differentiated or where we 'originated' ? Interesting comment though , you removed the 'ab' * and added mother land Ab (أَب), from a theoretical, abstract form ʼabawun ' is Arabic for father. In Aramaic father is אבא (abba) ... and Hebrew ; אבא‎, "father" Some of the Koori ( Australian Aboriginals) I have associated with know an a LOT .... an amazing amount of 'knowing' . And its all held 'in memory' . Yes, (if I understand your question ) ... by taking away their knowing, knowledge and land and lifestyle they loose a lot of 'themselves' ... they feel empty, purposeless and depressed , confused about the meaning of life and why we are here and begin to forget the purpose of life . ...... just like a whitefellah you met Sean ^ before ? He deadly funny ! ;

  17. Is there unnecessary suffering?

    Garbage dump not good place to live, I stayed in one once .... as a guest of its residents . . Not far from here , people lived in asbestos dump ; and dumped asbestos in the kids playground (behind the three kids on the right ) and the school yard . not really due to the fact that they lived in poverty ... more that they were Aboriginal ( this was a 'special deal' set up for them ; "We create employment for you, make 'nice house' , build your kids a school ... dont live in the 'bush' * , come live here, we make you 'civilised' ( ... and we got a job for you ! " ) * the 'bush' and the 'poverty' they were extracted from : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pnm5ocv8p294t5j/AACs9I6Ht9R_Z9K9vClLDwmfa
  18. Is there unnecessary suffering?

    I was driving to work one morning, turned on the radio to catch the news and see what the world was up to . The woman announcer was whining on and complaining and being all emotive to her radio partner that the 'dwell control' on her car window wipers didnt have enough settings to accurately adjust to the amount of rain hitting her wind shield .... to clear it to her satisfaction ..... and when she turned it up a notch, it was 'over wiping' .....
  19. Is there unnecessary suffering?

    I see unnecessary suffering all the time . I have even pointed out alternative paths of action that reaps the original intentions and eliminates the suffering - that is, a different approach to something that goes around the obvious disaster coming, if someone is following a certain path of action . But for some ... nope , they want the unnecessary suffering ... I guess they think it is 'necessary suffering' ? But they sure bitch about it when the inevitable suffering manifests from their approach .
  20. Ethical hedonism

    years ago a Hare Khrishna guy was trying to tell me how much he gave up to be on a spiritual path and how hard it was ; shaving his head, getting uo early every morning to chant - dietry restrictions, etc ... but he was sooooo dedicated ! (and 'pious' ) I laughed in his face .... "Why ...? " " Dont tell me that ! You LOVE IT ! You LOVE chanting Khrishna , it gets you high, you like the food, you love walking down the street in robes and having people know you are different, you love the whole thing .... you wouldnt have been attracted to it and kept doing it if you didnt . " He laughed and fessed up .... you could see it ( the joy ) in his beamey little face when he talked about it ( Krishna) . Good for him ! - but dont give me no 'sacrificial piousness' about it ! .
  21. Ethical hedonism

    If the 'ego' is as tricky as we suspect ... such piousness may be just another trick ? 'Spirituality' imbalanced by excessive cultural views and excessive passion ( hmmmmm .... 'excessive' anything ! ) Good thoughts IMO . We are 'in' the world , that doesnt mean that the 'world', the 'mundane' or the 'everyday' are not spiritual things in themselves. You know, it might not be so much about what you are involved with, but your attitude about such things. Sometimes one has to go 'far out' to get a perspective before we 'come back in' . Out right rejection and aversion are signs of weakness and an indication that we cant really deal with the issue at hand .
