I have had this garden in this spot for pver 30 years and never seen this before :This morning I am watering pot plants , I water a native tree fern in a pot , nothing different about it except on the surface of the pot dirt sits a small seed tray with some young lithop succulents ( 'stone plants ' ) , I watered it with a water can and steam rose up . Maybe the black pot was hot from the sun ? But no , as soon as I stopped poring water the 'steam stopped' . Looking closer there is a fungus on the top of the earth and next to the plastic seed tray , a cluster of little spheres that look like tiny 'puff balls' with a small open top . After a few experiments ( pouring water from water can and then stopping pouring, in cycles ) it seems that the soil around the fungus is bubbling and gassing with grey bubbles that burst open and release the steam / gas ? . It looks like steam as, as it rises, it vaporizes and is gone . Its 'boiling' pretty vigorously like a chemical reaction.But as soon as I stop pouring, the bubbling stops , even though there is a pool of water around the fungus before it seeps into the ground . Pour water on it starts bubbling and gassing again . I went through 1/2 a watercan ( around 5 lt ) dousing it and stopping , refilled and used another half can on it over about 6 pours , 1 pour about 3 lt in one go . It gassed all the way through that as well . I assumed it was a spore release triggered by rain , but it does not seem so, the water on the soil is boiling vigorously .. but only when the water is being poured on it .I filmed it .... no one seems to know what is going on.Anyone know what this is ?

No thanks . I dont need my chair to float around the room nor live in a quasi - Escher unnatural computer glitched botch job . But thats just a matter of taste in personal surrounds ... my preference is a natural cabin in the forest built to my specific preferences;; lots of glass and glass doors to let the light and air in and my vision out . A fireplace of course . Lining is various local hardwoods and decorative timber with some rock sections . 1930-40 style simple furniture mostly from Aussie red cedar . A color scheme based on browns and deep muted reds/maroons . A sumptuous bed with pearl and wood inlays of a satyr playing a pipe and covered in a thick deep dark red crumpled velvet spread . An outside fire bath in the forest and an elevated 'wet room' with space to dance under the shower that is fitted with a water pressure booster and runs through a gas heater . Indoor plants , rugs and fish tank ( with a light behind it so at night the fish, interior bubbles and plants cast moving shadows on the walls and ceiling ) . No 3-D printed house for me ... thats ACTUALLY what the future will hold for building ; .

I think I am in a body formed from the environment around me due to that have become a thinking feeling entity in this environment and that this environment is but a small part in the 'body' of the Universe and that I am co-creating ..... but on a very very tiny insignificant level ... compared to the Whole . But I am happy with that ( I dont like to accept responsibilities )

Of course they don't . Thoughts can be 'ingrained' responses or even reactions that we can pick up all over the place, especially when young . Thoughts then can be 'intellectual responses' from emotive triggers . I can hear the echoes of some thoughts still in my head when I do certain things , those thoughts sometimes are in the words and accent of those that first said them . Sometimes, like affirmations, I might even repeat them out loud . The more prominent ones are usually from people we admire , opinions we value or some other dynamic that caused them to 'embed' . Even a great, 'original' , brilliant thought ( and the greater and more brilliant it is ) is likely to be a 'message' , ie. you are the 'conduit' . The issue is to 'master' your thoughts and have control over them ..... not the other way around . Oh great ! The new future of theater . Instead of watching a group of actors on a stage perform a work , we will be able to watch a group of actors on a stage acting, recording themselves , downloading it onto a computer , then getting the computer to create the back drop and scenery and project it on to a screen behind them so we can watch the brilliant innovations of computer technology . I cant wait until they come to my local town's theater !

It probably got its 'Holy' reputation as it dispels nasties ( like the ones in stored grain and also in the soil ) . I am doing an experiment at the moment since my soil seems to have nasty nematodes in it - I have planted some out in separate containers ( from the garden beds ) to see if certain veggies grow better next to it . I would put up some new fences, water sources, a dam , some more fish and frog ponds some stables, native animal habitat boxes and few more possum hammocks . I would improve the pasture , plant more foraging trees and store feed in some of the stable spaces and reform the river riparian zone . Thats because in my new 'Kingdom' my 'people' would be various macropods , possums, gliders, fish, frogs, birds, snakes, lizards , two echidnas, a wombat and three donkeys .
