chrisjswanson Posted August 22, 2008 There's a strange stellar body in the Cygnus system called Cygnus-X3. It emits a beam of high energy particles (that some scientists claim are a new particle called cygnets) pointed at Earth from what I understand. The beam has a 4.7hr period and can be detected deep in caves.
