Aliens

I was thinking we could have a chat about aliens - about what they are. Are they physical foreign species traversing the universe in space crafts, a metaphor, some sort of inter dimensional being, an illusion, ourselves (humans) or something entirely different all together? 
 

edit: I recall @Nungali once reccomended me the book daimonic reality (https://www.amazon.com/Daimonic-Reality-Field-Guide-Otherworld/dp/0937663093). Is that of relevance?

Why are you concerned about aliens? They're just out there, watching, filming for their tv documentaries about wildlife. That's all.

Now you are asking about people's perceptions and ideas about certain phenomena .

The sections on 'alien encounters'  in that book  where people are claiming interaction is relevant to your questions about people's perceptions of them .
