The theater of robots

Recommended Posts

The theater of robots is a program that translates the text of a literary work into the appearance of virtual characters and their movements. Of course, it can be changed to control androids. For the demonstration work of the program, a sacred work is selected and an additional program is used, which forms character design according to the sacred meanings of words. In this case, the characters are composed of various elements that are selected in full accordance with words. In this case, it cannot be said that the program literally makes the staging of the text, like a film or performance, it uses the internal sacred properties of the text. Of course, the text can be inserted in any, but it is the sacred text that makes this program serious in a sacred language. Characters can also be forced to pronounce words, but it is very difficult to get a speech translator, especially since we are talking about a sacred language. And so to make the program say the words is not so difficult. Possible application - various training programs, for example, language.

Yes, I understand that  you made the  dancing robots video    BUT

I was asking about your claim of ;  ''   is a program that translates the text of a literary work into the appearance of virtual characters and their movements.''

YOU show 'virtual characters and their movements '  but what is 'the text of the literary work ' that the virtual characters are translating from to make those movements ?    and more so, you claimed it was a 'sacred'  work with 'sacred ' meanings .

So,   to be clear ,  I am asking  what is the sacred work and the sacred meanings that your  virtual characters  are presenting in their little  simple 7 or 8 dance steps ?

The video is not directly connected to the text.

Oh great !  The new future of theater .

Piotr Mirowski, Boyd Branch, Harry Turnbull, Jutta Diessl and Julie Flower. Performance of Improbotics: Rosetta Code on 18 August 2021 at the Cockpit Theatre in London. Image credits: Erika Hughes.

Instead of watching a group of actors on a stage  perform a work , we will be able to watch a group of actors on a stage    acting, recording themselves , downloading it onto a computer , then getting the computer to create the back drop and scenery  and project it on to a screen behind them so we can watch the  brilliant innovations of computer technology .

I cant wait until they come to my local town's theater !
