A personal story which might or might not include MCO

Recommended Posts

When I began reading about MCO back around 2017.

Read the part about touching the tip of the tongue to the ceiling of the mouth. Suddenly realized I was already doing that without consciously being aware of doing it.

Read the part about those with MCO being ill less than average. COVID was the only time I got sick over the past 20+ years.

Interesting set of coincidences considering I never cared about MCO and never made an effort to develop it.

Here is some backstory.

In the past I installed floors and did construction work. Being that its indoor work with lighting, it was possible to do 16 hour shifts. Seven days a week. And that's exactly what I did. 12 to 16 hour shifts everyday for months. What some might call an extreme amount of labor intensive work. Without much time to rest or recover.

After supply chain food shortages of 2020, many turned to agriculture and farming. I began making posts about agriculture on the internet. Some politely said americans of today are too entitled and soft for the hard work that is agriculture. And they might be right. But being someone who has done a little bit of work in the past, this gave me motivation to see what kind of agriculture work I was capable of.

In the sub division where I live. I don't think there is anyone in the entire sub division who has done more agriculture work by hand than I have. The amount of work I normally do on a daily basis is...  unusual. And people have acknowledged this.

As a child, teen and young adult I was interested in martial arts. I never had a sensei or teacher. I tried to learn on my own and make up my own methods of training.

Anyways, I'm not going to be so bold as to claim I have MCO. Or that I accidentally unlocked it somehow in the midst of daily work and trying to invent my own martial arts  training methods.

But if you think about it, there are a lot of people in the world who haven't gotten sick in a long time. There are many who are working long and hard hours on a consistent basis.

If working hard consistently and not getting sick are symptoms of MCO.

Then perhaps many will develop it. Many already have it. Without even realizing it.
