Need to change email but password isn't working

Hi Mods/Admins,

        I'm in an unpleasant situation where I don't have access to the email I signed up with, so I need to change it just in case I get locked out of this account. I go to change it and to my surprise my password doesn't work even though I know what my password is. I checked the page in "account settings" tab that shows your passwords character length. The password I set up with this account is the same amount of characters as the one shown there, so I know I didn't forget my password. 

 

I'm automatically logged into my account on this computer as this is the one I signed up with so that's how I have access and am posting this right now.

please help me D:
I don't want to make a new account...
