brings to light a couple of points.

Ones inner perception interacts and determines how outer perceptions are perceived.

When these inner perceptions are to far out of sync or do not allow for

normal functioning in a society people are said to have a psychosis.

What happens when a society is shaped by those with what was once noted as a psychosis

for example those with gender dysphoria.

"Gender dysphoria (GD), or gender identity disorder (GID), is the distress a person experiences as a result of the sex and gender they were assigned at birth. In this case, the assigned sex and gender do not match the person's gender identity, and the person is transgender."

"assigned at birth"   if true is being born human also an assignment.

What if a person felt they were really an animal.   Image result for people who changed their bodies into animals

Is he still human?

Aesthetically, not so much. Physiologically, yes.

I saw this "cat" on television years ago. He was actually pretty well spoken, in spite his lip modifications impeding his speech a bit and looking like a feline mutant.

If he wants to fly his freak flag higher than most, so be it.
