Nungali Posted December 20, 2017 (edited) Grateful for a respite from a few days in the (near ) 40s (Centigrade) “The heatwave will last until at least the middle of next week for inland regions, and peak around Monday or Tuesday when December records could break. “Temperatures on Monday and Tuesday should hit the mid-40s across western NSW, eastern SA and southwest QLD. Some towns will most likely suffer through seven consecutive days above 40C, including Bourke and Charleville. One day, 36 C , cut over 500 bamboo culms , yesterday, stared at 5:30 am to get some relief, and moved the lot of them, stack - unstack , 3 trips on ' tractor barge ' , then, at last , a thunderstorm ! Ahhhhhh .... Thing was .... the more you cut, the more you are working in the sun Edited December 20, 2017 by Nungali
