There is no normal

So it started with me paying close attention to my closest friends and family. Those people I know the deepest and most intimately. One day it dawned on me, that there is no such thing as a normal person.

 

Not one of my dearest, most admired, respected and trusted friends or family were anything close to normal.

 

So I made a little mental box for me to add anyone who proved to be normal.

 

My box is still empty.

I'm 44.

 

I'm left with the obvious fact that was staring at me 20 some odd years ago... there is no normal, there is no me, there is no them.
