I have trained a number of people to utilize medical qigong in this manner as we have methods in the system for doing this. We have demonstrated this form with 100% result in workshops. Note I am not an artist but can teach artists how to do the medical qigong this way. Concerning money: I had a student about 25 years ago who did this with painting portraits. She could SEE and painted in the fields and energy center interactions. She made really good money doing this and was booked up with many people all the time.
