"The yuan-source points were listed in chapter 1 pf the Spiritual Pivot as follows:

LU-9 Taiyuan for Lung

PE-7 Daling for Heart

SP-3 Taibai for Spleen

LIV-3 Taichong f. Liver

KID-3 Taixi f. Kidney

REN-15 Jiuwei f. the 'gao' (the area below the heart)

REN-6 Qihai f. the 'huang' (the area above the diaphragm)

 

It is notable that in this passage, Daling PE-7 is given as the yuan-source point of the Heart, and it was not until the Systematic Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion that the shu points (including the yuan-source point) of the Heart channel were first discussed. The yuan-source points of the six fu were given in Chapter two of the Spiritual Pivot."
