The I ching is a book about the nature of the universe that we live in. The book explains how these energies interplay and are related. It is not a fabricated by the mind thing it is the observation of how things are. Kid level is the i ching game of throwing coins or sticks. The ‘Changes’, namely are the Tai Ji diagram, the Yin Yang concept and the eight trigrams. By looking at the ancient Chinese pictographs, we can derive some of their original meaning. The character for ‘Yi’ is made up of a ‘日’ at the top, which represents ‘Supreme Yang’, or the sun. Below is made up of ‘月’, which represents the moon. The sun is yang, the moon is yin, and therefore ‘Yi’ is Yin and Yang forming one integral and holistic entity. Yi is exactly the concept of Yin and Yang: ‘Yi’s’ greatest distinguishing feature is its transformations. Like with the sun and the moon, in the daytime the sun shines, and in the evening, the moon rises. Yang changes into Yin, Yin changes into Yang. The ‘Yi’ also follows this pattern with the Tai Ji diagram’s Yang unbroken lines “—” and Yin broken lines “–” , that is, Tai Ji gives birth to the two polarities of Yin and Yang. The two polarities give birth to the four divisions, the four divisions give birth to the eight trigrams, going one step further after the arrangement and composing of the eight trigrams the 64 hexagrams are generated. The ‘Tai Ji Diagram is precisely the ‘Boundless Infinite Diagram’. The ‘Boundless Infinite’ is exactly Yin embracing Yang, Yang embracing Yin, Yin and Yang not yet being separated, the time of heaven and earth not yet having taken shape.” ‘Still, quiet and unmoving, perceiving, thereupon communing’ Only if one lets go of all original cognition, knowledge and attachments, will one truly be able to naturally communicate and unify with Heaven and Earth, as well as the ten thousand things and the higher dimensions. For instance sitting meditation and the cultivation of stillness will enable one to open the three eyes, enlighten one to the truth that common people are not aware of. They are in no need to take advantage and exploit the divinatory casting methods, foretelling fortune and misfortune, gain and loss.

After 18,000 years, Pan-gu had grown old and tired. He had made the world with his hands and formed the basic principles of yin and yang. He wanted to lay down and sleep forever. Once he lay down he never rose again. When Pan-gu died, his body formed huge mountains. His skull formed the top of the sky, his hair formed all flowers and plants, his bones turned to jade and pearl and his arms and legs the four directions. His blood became the rivers, his breath turned into the wind and his voice to thunder. One eye became the sun and the other the moon. ( now that is a giant dragon) For many years the world was a very beautiful place but also lonely; there were no people. The half-dragon goddess Nuwa was born after Pan-gu died, from part of the mixture of yin and yang that he had separated. She decided to create humans to have some other beings to talk to and share ideas with, but mostly just to love. Nuwa went down to the edge of the Yellow River where there were vast, soft mud banks. She began forming figures out of clay ( yes just like wonder-woman demi gods and goddesses are shaped from clay). She decided that it would be much more practical for her creations to have legs instead of a dragon tail, thus her humans were not made in her image. ( a woman creates not using her image interesting) No sooner did she set the first little mud man on the ground did he start to jump, and dance and sing. He began to speak. “Look at me!” Nuwa was delighted and began making more and more humans. She made hundreds and hundreds of mud humans, but soon realized that it would take centuries for her to make enough people to fill the vast earth completely. Nuwa grabbed hold of a muddy stick and flung drops of mud across As the sun dried each drop, it became a new man or woman. Some say that these humans were the less intelligent ones ( sorry you are not a demi god). Those formed by Nuwa’s own hands became great leaders. She told them to go and populate the earth.( sex is not an issue it is encouraged) As they grew she loved them and protected them, and was revered as the mother of all humans. Speculation on my part because I have no interest in the topic of evolution with species changing into a different species like monkeys turning into men but we have men and monkeys living in the same time, tooo weird for me. The best gods are the ones with jobs that work together for the sake of all of humanity then we can follow their divine example and advise to learn who we really are. All gods depend on Tao for their existence. One god must be very lonely. Gods live in human time so some lose all their rank if they are not careful.

Yes it has been done. The only difference is that the i ching is not a complex system because there is a unifying force which all things become manifest. Everything that makes up no relationships of a complex system is actually possible and addressed in the i ching because it is all related on every level.. I have been watching a reality TV show called "President Trump" on fox produced by a Russian film co. very funny stuff. When the actor playing president trump is asked about 'The Bachelor' 16 white women compete over 1 white man he says "the woman always like to be grabbed by the pu$$y." The latest episode of president trump with 16 white women is about a want to be supreme court judge named kavanaugh. Funny thing about sun gazing. It is a normal experience. The not so funny part is when someone forces the thought that it is the end all technique of profound mystery because that is terribly wrong and harmful to others. A great documentary Of Pui Chan Kung Fu pioneer is available on Amazon prime. Pui Chan was my first Teacher at 16 years of age.I was extremely lucky for this to be my first experience of Kung Fu as a kid. I attended the first Kung Fu Temple in the USA In Orlando FL and the satellite school in ft Myers FL. To have an actual kung fu master as my first teacher has lead me on an incredible journey. After meeting a Taoist priest I now study Wudang Kung Fu. The low stance training I had at a young age made the low stances of Wudang easy for me. I encourage all martial artist to watch this amazing life story Of Pui Chan. It is more than just What we see as kung fu his life story and how he came to america is amazing, the film is done really well. The video is when Master Pui Chan is about 73 years old. When I studied he was in his thirties. I also recommend looking up his performances at all ages as well. Tam Tui means spring leg which Master Chan demonstrates brilliantly.

This is white rhino, white = metal = lungs exercise. Wudang 5 element or 5 animal chi gung is related to the 5 major organs of the body and is very effective. This is part is of a special set that contains lift the moon, snake creeps down to follow the wind, hungry tiger vibrates the forest looking for food, monkey offers fruit to heaven and more. All movements are related to the organs as well. very powerful stuff when practiced with dedication.

We could start with Jing or vitality is not just sexual energy. Reproduce (vitality force) your actions to obtain balance and harmony. If one makes this mistake of putting attention on sex or no sex the practice turns into a crooked path. Extremes destroy balance and harmony. Starting a new discipline such as Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Gung will help things but do not make it about sex or any problem. Do it for awesomeness and do not settle for small accomplishments. A new hobby or true practice is a great way to focus on something new and let the old bad habits vanish to dust. If you do not give addiction energy meaning, thinking of sex or not, do not allow the thoughts to disturb your peace. Keep the balance and harmony only you can do the hard work. No one else is capable of doing what you need to do.

Remember the Romans had 8 days a week and 10 months a year. By observation alone the Chinese system was correct pre dating the roman calendar by thousands of years. The Greeks and Romans who the Romans adopted had gods moving the planets so take a grain of salt with all of that.

If I was chuang tzu I would us satire and humor to express my views like buildings falling down, crops not yielding, plants love electrolytes. and soda not water, a world without virtue...... oh wait it is already happening that makes it even more funny.

This chapter is about virtue and how we are all connected. Lao Tzu is no friend of obligations. He prefers such bonds to be voluntary. They should be consequences of one's virtue, and one's sense of what's natural, and not some laws to which we are forced to surrender. With true virtue it sprouts from the seed within and spreads around the world. Virtue should be cultivated, and not preached. One needs to find it within oneself, in one's search for the Way. Otherwise, the virtue is ill planted and ill held, so it will be uprooted and escape. This energy can not be created or destroyed but it could be lost, miss placed, forgotten, ignored or just a mystery that ancient sages obtained.

yin female, yang male that is all. Heaven yang, earth yin that is all. Red Yang, black yin that is all. Polar complete opposites that also contain the opposite. With Yin and Yang we are talking about specifics that are moving and changing we can not transfer one over to the other like fire is not a man and woman is not the water BUT we all have the energies of all manifestations in the universe. Gender less is the energy of yin and yang but we can say in one aspect a woman is yin and a man is yang but lets get specific it needs to be correlated with the actual subject we are discussing. There are no absolutes. A man or woman could be very yin compared to a woman or man that is very Yang and so on.
