  1. Does AYP give bad kundalini advice?

Ouch. I read the topic and I agree with you. He had no prior experience as a practitioner, and yet they gave him a whole heap of stuff that would be completely unusable to him as of now. Some of it was even harmful. Ejaculation in the midst of an awakening experience where a goddess is slurping on your sex juices is not advised. Seriously, what? Eating a heavy meal while your digestive fire is in the midst of a complete physical renovation and remodeling? The microcosmic orbit is invaluable. Kechari mudra is also invaluable, and it saved me a lot of possible agony. Another thing that I would suggest is getting to know the kundalini personally. Talk to her, she will respond.
  2. If you want power, hide behind the skirt of your mother, the one who spun you out of gossamer and snakeskin.
  3. answer the call of the tao

The random urge to artistry is my favorite number, when the dao comes a-dialin away! Sketching away on some whimsy is a great way to end the day.
  4. a back-and-forth mind

Relax, forget about training for a while and give your body time to cool off, adapt, and resolve. Being aware of the microcosmic orbit wont help you to be content, that's something you have to accept rather than seek. Thinking is useless when the Dao is with you. Long walks in nature, on the other hand? They really help! maybe it will be of use to you. If you must train during turbulent times, do methods that seem ordinary so the little man in our heads doesn't get uncomfortable.
  5. Information

If you can master one language fully and completely, any language at all, then you can master all of them. If you can unwind the most primordial geometry, that of the circle and it's sphere, then you can intuitively understand all the sciences. If you can be here, you will never forget what you are. The problem is that most people don't know what here is, so they lose it. They grasp and they grasp and they never get it. They worship relative information and lose sight of this one fact blaringly obvious, completely naked and self evident from all ten directions. It is completely possible to know it, the one that others consider unspeakable... Then all of these dramas become plays, and a part of you can never return to acting. People lose their intellect time after time because they don't see that it's everywhere, and it's genius.
  6. Information

My earliest and most vivid memories are of the clear light of death which brought forth my current being. I was unconsciously guided into studying a multitude of sciences, spiritual and otherwise, from a very young age in an attempt to understand this maya that I was suddenly thrust into.
  7. Information

Here's an interesting perspective - You are an intelligent rainbow computing the diameter of your own circumference, which is 'one', or an awareness of a form that points in every single possible direction simultaneously. Basically, you are a dot. Everything is also a dot, so this illusion is actually really flimsy, and basically see-through. Since you are the dot, though, everything you're seeing right now is just the outside of yourself, the dot. It's pretty much binary code with arbitrary information being fed to your main processor, which procedes to split everything up into the full spectrum of possible experience that you could have. But really, all of those experiences are a dot, too. They cannot escape their intrinsic perfection, being fully one and therefore potentially any relative value - all while maintaining their perfection - so everything that we could experience is just a reflection of the primordial form and it's accompanying space. So, get this - your brain is currently spending a good most of it's power rendering the entire universe except for the strange schrodinger's mind-space just behind the veil. This is how we travel through linear 'time', which is really more like a living fibonacci sequence. So, this 'physical body' that we all share is pretty much just a ball of stress in a primordial soup of complete tranquility. Your brain could just chill out inside of you, since you are (literally) everything, and the event horizon 'outside' would still match up. The only difference would be that you are now steering the vehicle. This release of stress is really, really strong - it's so strong that it's like a cosmic chiropractor karate-chopped your being so hard that now you're really here, not just contemplating being here. You could say it's awakening. Coincidentally, here is there. The universe is a perpetual motion machine. You are a perpetual motion machine. Yeah. That's my spare change.
  8. What would peace look like?

We're carrying peace around with us everywhere we go, in all that we do. Few stop to appreciate it, however. Acknowledgement of this preternatural stillness all across the world, it would be such grandeur! A silent night sky is already a beauty, imagining a society without conflict is almost too much to bear.
  9. Riding the Ox

As Lao Tzu hinted at, being in mysterious agreement with the obscurity of others has been a great help to me. Looking past another man's words, I know that, given this unbelievable conspiracy of causes and effects, the sentience that I also exhibit would do or say the exact same thing in his position, at that very moment. You can't blame yourself or the other person, you can't blame anything. He's not hurting you, really. He's playing out an ancient drama. This all has come together for such a short time, it's best to learn from everything with a smile.
  10. I don't believe. I know that, at this very moment, there is an awareness of a full spectrum of 'light', whatever that is, congealing into an 'essence' that suggests something we collectively label a word called humanity. I see that all of it is inseparable. Everything after that is hearsay. A concept such as 'existence' or 'non-existence' has no reality. That's just an assumption. Make-believe. Right here and now there is a consciousness that is aware of itself. Everything else is a symbol of that ancient knowing. No screen, no projector, just a space with no beginning or end - clear all the way through, a brilliant display that unfolds into ever more bountiful freedom. Man is a symbol. All this world is a symbol, all of the phenomena signposts pointing to a jewel within a lotus. I can't tell you what it symbolizes because you are it. I can't show you the truth because you are currently in the process of knowing that truth right down to the core. It's easy for a dream to dream of itself when every single thing that can ever be conceived of is a quirky self-reference to it's own nature.
  11. Love is not a concept, it's what we are made of. The light and the space that accompanies it are an inseperable marriage. They 'are what they are'? And what are they? They are also this union of radiant light and playful, nurturing space, flowering space. It all developed together, not apart! You think the ducks don't take care of their young? So too must we take responsibility for this collaborative effort of ignorance and enlightenment! Responsibility for our collective selves is telling our children which berries or poisonous or not, and making them wear sunscreen, because moderation is the way.
  12. Compassion is a force of nature that lovingly plants the seed and nourishes it with water. It is the wisdom that moves the trunk towards the sun. The course that things take is not always natural, and so it is the duty of the light to live the truth so that the trees can grow and bear fruit. If the sun decided to go sit in a remote space away from our earth, keeping his radiance to himself, we would never be able to see this.
  13. visualizations, so they work?

I think the point is to know that those buddhas are you. They are what you are, what you can become. Every single cell in the body is a buddha, standing tall inside himself even as he sits atop a lotus. A mandala is your body, the mandala deity is your mind, the silence of all is the truth. Or whatever. Don't quote me.
  14. Non-existence or existence, both are just an awareness of an arrangement of light misconstrued as such a state. You are not a lion, as far as you can tell, you are a human. So your awareness identifies with what you are conscious of, that of 'being human'. But really, what does that entail? What is a human? Being is always becoming, and impermanence is inevitable. What would make non-existence exempt from this rule? It, too, is a concept born from an impermanent mind. But what is it that this impermanent mind rests upon, always? We cannot be seperated from this hard light, but we can soften our view. These dreams are a radiant life, incarnate... a living aesop fable. Within this fey and impossible world, dreams are reality. Our thoughts echo on planes unseen and these ripples are themselves beings, just like you or I. A mind within a mind within a mind, never seperate from the source for even a second! So, what of this self-imposed exile? Empty is the universe, it is full to the brim with hidden potential.
  15. Freedom of being. We're all, in some form or another, searching for freedom. To be, or not to be... that is the question. It's an oxymoron though, because 'not being' is just another form of being. Even the void can be seen through. There is no difference between this dream and that dream, so when, during your ordinary life, the edges of your car wind into an eternity revealing endless sentient beings and their dramas, the profoundly far-reaching effects of this very moment may be a little more... self-evident? Perhaps it will serve as an inspiration to become a bodhisattva and end suffering.
  16. Are all the contents of awareness intentional?

A brown grey monstrosity. And as to your inquiry about traveling through infinite worlds. I have a hunch (backed by some experiences) that we are indeed doing just that, on a day-to-day basis. We've chosen this experience specifically so that we could re-discover the 'magic' of ordinariness.
  17. Are all the contents of awareness intentional?

I agree. We see what we want to see, to a degree that is almost disturbing IMO. For instance, I was sitting outside meditating next to this little tree I've got in my front yard earlier today. The more I relaxed, the more the grass and the earth and the tree slowly became less tree-like and earthy and more like a fractalline pattern of greenish gold light, which was breathing. It didn't seem wierd at the time, even when it started dissolving into a rainbow mirage. Then a slime tried climbing on my leg, and that was the end of that. The thought that stuck with me afterwards was that what I was seeing was not really different, before or during, to what I'm seeing right now. We have a real stranglehold on this geometric technicolor slideshow, I think.
  18. Definitions of God

Hmmm... looking behind your self, what do you see?
  19. We all have issues-

sex ≠ lust. Just about everything we do is a form of intercourse, and you could say that sex itself is a living metaphor of the truth we're all searching for... the one that is neither dual nor singular.
  20. You, the buddha, having grasped the one, seeing the universe as the dream of an ocean, as the light of your own mind reveals infinite shimmering mandala worlds, your body of bodies forever shattering into billions of buddhas each bearing their own fruits of enlightenment for endless sentient beings, do nothing. Because it's already done, in just this one moment... perhaps. Perhaps the significance of our actions right now are so vast, profound and far-reaching that the story of our own lives are reflected in the crucible of any and every possible life ever told, reaching it's fermentation in our being just so. It's interesting to think about!
  21. Compassion

    Unclench thy shaking fist.
  22. Does nothingness really exist?

Once, I had a dream. I had suddenly become aware while watching these nonsense figures doing a little dance. It all struck me as so pointless, so I asked the dream 'what is this supposed to mean?' No response. 'What am I?' No response. OK. That's fine. 'So what is this?' I fell through the dream into a bright, tingling light and it responded with a simple 'life, and it is beautiful'.
  23. There are so many other ways to use the creative energy, such as art, exercise, music, etc. You won't even have a desire to ejaculate if it's circulating correctly. But i havent had a vasectomy, just saying.
  24. karma is self-perpetuated and self-sustained, and samsara is a dream within your own self. Stop feeding your demons and rest in peace.
