  2. OK sorry for having to make a thread for this, but i cant seem to find a Kunlun book anywhere on the internet. I cant afford the time or money to go to a seminar, and all the books, except the french ones, are off the internet! Could someone please tell me where to get one, or if they are going to come back anytime soon, or could someone just tell me where to find the techniques orrrr could someone please please please just lend me a copy or teach my the main points on the down low? I really really really want to learn Kunlun. Seriously. Yes. For Real. Yup. Straight up. Yeah sorry again if this is like offending or something.

    The question is, is the main purpose of your meditation(spiritual cultivation practice) for attainment of bliss or awareness? I think Id say Awareness to me is more important, i like to feel in control, and i feel that through awareness i could attain bliss, but im sure it can work the other way around.

    Astral- Thanks for the reply. Very informative. There was definitley some people saying that red phoenix is dangerous to teach in level one. Are you implying that i buy those programs? Witch- That was very interesting but im not really sure how much i beleive in pyschic powers, surprised theres so many people who believe in "magic" buttt i wont be completley close minded, who knows. Anyways i will be recieving the book soon, hopefuly itll do me some good, kunlun sound pretty powerful, so i better give it a try

  6. So ive been thinking, and ive sort of divided my entire being into little basic pieces, akin to the way everything is broken up into atoms and pixels. You can say that we have 10 senses. 5 inner and 5 outer. they are really only 5 but one comes from the outside and one from the inside. However we can control the ones coming from the outside just as the ones from the inside and make it so that they cause us more happiness and energy. I was arguing with my brother the other day, he says that all he experiences is thoughts and emotions, and i keep telling him that what thoughts and emotions are really made of are complex patterns and equations of senses, just your 5 senses. I mean try and think about it. Have you ever had a thought that didnt have an image or sound or sensation spontaneously attachted to it? Can you even think in your head without saying words? And if you can, can you keep those thoughts devoid of images as well? And if you can, can you seperate those thoughts from sensations in your body? I pretty much beleive that your senses are just an incarnation of your concoiusness. But ive become usure latley if there is a 6th sense or not. the sense of thought. Heres a little test. Wait for a minute and let your mind go to void. Without changing decide to love yourself. This is a thought, but not like the normal kind, it is spontaneous, a liquid product of void. Or is it? Is it just another result of the senses? Is there a way to tell? I am kind of torn on which one to believe.

    um nope last time i checked there are only 5. however you do make senses in that there are senses within senses, so in a way, we can have just one sense, or maybe infinite senses.

Witch, not sure what you mean by wizard, but i assume you think he has strong powers? do you think hes trying to hurt you? Trunk thank you for the warning, but il take my chances, lol. And now that you mention mutli orgasmic men, whats so dangerous about that book? i havnt heard of it, but now im curious. Is it a Mantak Chia book? Anyways thanks goes out to some friend(s) here, who are/is going to loan me the kunlun book, so whos next in line?

    Im sure she didnt actually think she was going to be instantly enlightened from that. It was nothing personal. I was just talking. I wanted to know why she didnt like it. Im sure she doesnt need you to defend her. Shes a big girl now. You can choose how to take things, its your attitude that makes it negative, not the reality. I wouldnt of posted this thread, if I hadnt read almost EVERYTHING about kunlun here. Good day.

    lots of good information here guys looks like no one chose bliss yet LOL looks like Lama Dorje's gonna need a new sales pitch =O Well there is long term pleasure and short term pleasure, doing drugs and having unprotected sex and doing crazy things on a motorcycle will bring short term pleasure, but long term pain. I doubt there is any way to get supreme bliss without mediation. No way at all. And i mean, what is the point of living, even you have awarenss of everything, if you are in intesne amounts of pain? I feel that as i meditate it is not so uneven, and the being blissful helps me become aware, and becoming aware helps me become blissful. Im sure i would be very happy being in pure bliss and knowing nothing, they say that ignorance is bliss, but i dont very much like the idea of mindlessness and egolessness, depending on you definition of ego, I WANT TO KNOW HOW THINGS WORK, i want to one day be able to feel every cell in my body, i want to UNDERSTAND, i want to be sensitive, but in the end i think we only have 3 things, awareness, bliss, and power and the lack or opposite of those. meditating is about bringing those more and more. i think void mediation is more about learning to be aware of what truley matters, by quieting what doesnt matter as much, but i dont think that void is the end goal, if void were the end goal, then we might as well become athesists and bleive that when we die concoiuness ends and that this life is all we got.

I also wonder like Jetsun, why the book is nowhere to be found Trunk, thank you for the insight, however i will have to wait until i have some dough under my belt Lol so yeah id be totally willing to recieve the book, even pay shipping, and then send it to someone else, down the line. im not really sure how this "library" works, but im totally down.   14. Conflict between Work and Consciousness

    this is the whole point of certain meditations, to be able to turn the energies that expend out into the external world back into your own energy. i find that the more unpersonal and abstract your mind goes, the further your energies go from feeding back into your dantien. in a exponential manner. try combining two forces that are opposing, your focus/will and your relaxed bliss, keep repeating to yourself that you will keep getting permantley better at whatever you set your mind to, whatever fractal of mental and emotional and phsycial energy expenditure that you come across. by combinging the enerigies in the 3 main centers and by clearing the spine, one can help combine your delciate/fine mental ego with the rough sensory emotional perceptions pm me if you like

    lol didnt expect anyone to respond to this... affilate marketing is selling things on line, anyone can do it, it is the only way to make money online from h9ome relativley passivley, and at little to no cost to yourself. I AM NOT GOING TO BRING ANY AFFILATE LINKS TO TAOBUMS, that is quite rude. Ambrose, dont worry, i hate spammers too, and my quest is really one of self improvement, i cannot tolerate normal life, i have been sick for a long time, and i realized that if i could train my mind to control my body, that i could develop bliss and awareness and power. Then i realized that what i was thinking about in my head, was what people have been talking about for a long time, its called meditation and yoga I have not been meditating for very long maybe 6 months, but the results have been drastic. i think i have improved so quickly because i am a very adamant researcher, i have a very open and active mind, and i do not stick to any religions or traditions, and only listen to my own common sense, and am trying to build my own idea of what meditation is. i think alot of people put there belief in blind faith instead of beleiveing in themselves. i am my own guru. truley. I think we are all god.

    hey, just want to put it out there, you can be a complete skeptic of all things spiritual and still do mediation, i dont believe in anything that is not physically provable, and i believe that awareness and the nervous system ARE chi. The whole god thing is ancient tradition in my opionin. Hell, it makes perfefct scientific sense that meditation and viusliaztion can produce profound bliss, awareness, higher conciouisness, and health. There are huge fields of science dedicated to the very subject of the connect between the pyche and the nervous system and the nervous system and the rest of the body. And, if miracles and other "supernatural" things are possible by using "chi" then there is a very real force doing this, whether we can measure it right NOW, doesnt matter. We will develop the technology in time my .00000002 cents

    this comes from opening specific areas of you body, albeit central ones, and negelecting the rest of the body. this is good, but the energy will be varyinly difficult for your body to adjust to, depending on its health level, the adjust will causes localized stress, and your mind can either hinder or help this process greatly.

    everybody should see this http://www.healthline.com/human-body-maps/ throughthe right mediation its possible to feel all the connecvtion within the body ive discovered exercises that literally expand my bone structure ie wider shoulders, right force generation it connects all the joints and the four sides(aproxamitley) of each joint and thir coresponding muscles if you flex all the muslces around ajoint at once there will be no room, if you do it from the center, it is "proper" activation. if you are looking to isolate layers, and build you joints, it is good to work each side on its own for more "room" and proper growth. i find that if i do exercises that are the opposite of the "alligned" exercises that it actually makes my limbs or whatever shorter and the muscle structure looks "clashing" or something like it was worked out inverse if you correspond the right positions, the muscle will develop amazingly. people naturally seek out some of these postions when they stretch. it is about the the MAXIMUM contraction vs expansions or stretch of a muscle via PROPER alignment
  20. Hey TaoBums, I just wanted to say that Breath Retention is actually proven to increase the oxygenation of the blood! I know people say that Breath Retention is a very good practice, so heres the proof!! How this works is that our blood oxygen is always around the 98% mark, and doesnt change much from there. We are constantly breathing out about 15% oxygen, thats alot of wasted oxygen!! So to put this simply is that Co2 increase your blood oxygenation by vasodilation and increasing oxygens affinity for hemoglobin. It may do other stuff as well. These are all proven effects. Proof?     Chidragon- hyperventilation is simply refering to the rate and depth at which the breathing action is taken. it is truely only limited by your own conciousness, though it may "automatically" operate to a degree on its own. The idea is to get more and more oxygen by increasing co2 levels in the lungs and blood, by retention of the breath, both acute and chronic. So yes it is very possible to "hyperventilate" with "natural" breath, because hyperventilation is a relative term, not an absolute, and the idea is that the less ventilation, the better, at least up to a point. Nilo- its really cool that youve noticed that breath retention helps you out all on your own most people would deny their intuition and tell themselves to "breathe in more air" I think maybe your body naturally depressing its breathing mechanism in response to stress, so that maybe it can buffer the destructive forces of stress on the body. theory.. I think held breathe exercises are really a very potent form of yoga, which really force the oxygen/air force and the blood/pressure force throughout your body, while increasing awareness and, im sure, things i dont really claim to understand at the moment. Its wierd cus you can hear people say like "oh dont hold your breath during exercise" and its like, youd think people would cetch on and say no its really good to maintain that pressure. but it has been proven again and again that the news of common sense health will not disseminate among people, and people(at large) will just not "get it" thereby perpetuating our constant sickly existence. i reccomend simply those links, no need to buy a book or give people money, they do have a machine to help, keep the co2 in, their main site is called normalbreathing i think... and has a graphic of a key on it, its there under the google link, i really like the study of breath retention on breast cancer, its reallyi telling, yeah unfortunatley this guy has like "patented" his name onto the "technique" thereby forming the "buteyko method" but is really an ancient and generic process. I dont really care though. ChiDragon- " If your breathing is shallow, then you must learn to breathe slowly and have your breath go down inch by inch until it hit the abdomen. Don't force your breath to go down farther than it could. Stop at the same point each time for few days but try to push a little more at a time. After months of practice, your breath should have gone down more than day one of your practice. Please be patience until you can have your breath down to the abdomen as your normal breathing habit. BTW That's what Chi Kung is all about, to improve your breathing habit. " this is almost exactly the "buteyko method" they also state the importance of nose breathing and abdominal breating, breathing thru the nose keeps in the nitric oxide, which is also a vasodilator.\ HotNirvana- I feel through my own meditation expericnes that the "breath force" whatever it is is very very central to your bodys ability to produce chi. This breathing through the heels is a good way to reduce breathing, advocate abdominal breathing, and redirect your breath flow through your body, i find a really good exercise is breathing trhought all the bones. Nilo- Just wanted to say that i think exercise and weightlifing is much more than what people say ,conditioning your body(as in like simply developing stronger muscles and hardier cardiovascular systems via the "rebound effect", its real benefits come from the buffering of the, ah, "energy body"(which is really more like your central nervouse system and the way it interacts with the rest of your core proceses). IMHO. Wouldnt you agree? And i think your right about "sipping vs chugging" i also think that the chronic and acute should always be combined to your best advantage

This has already happened infinity times. Our destiny however, is not set, we can choose which truth we are, as it has not been decided yet, and all truths have already happened. Actually i just made all that up too, but seroiusly hope we pull thru.
