  1. Thanks for sharing. In Kashmir Shaivism, specifically as described in the Shiva Sutras, it is a little different. As the Shiva Sutras state... 3.38. tripadādyanuprāṇanam Emerging from turya, insert the absolute bliss of that state into the waking, dreaming and deep sleep states and they will become one with that state of turya. 3.39. citta sthitivaccharīra karaṇabāhyeṣu This awareness of God consciousness should not only be infused in that state where one’s mind is established in one-pointedness but it should also be infused in the establishment of his body, in his organic actions and in the external objective world. Additionally, rather than your pure awareness (with no objects) concept, it is more like a God consciousness, such that... 3.24. mātrāsvapratyayasaṁdhāne naṣṭasya punarutthānam When a yogī, in coming out from samādhi, also attempts to maintain awareness of God consciousness in the objective world, then, even though his real nature of self is destroyed by the inferior generation of self-consciousness, he again rises in that supreme nature of the self. 3.25. śivatulyo jāyate He becomes just like Śiva. So rather that simply his nature of self being destroyed ( or lost in Brahman), he rises again in the supreme nature of self and becomes just like Siva.
  2. Glad I am here :)

Something like body scanning (Buddhist) or micro cosmic orbit (Taoist). Even just focusing on different parts of your body in motion can help. Do you ever feel any little vibrations at locations in the body?
  3. Glad I am here :)

A big part of the issue is that you have started to open and feeling some energy. That energy is probably spilling over in your mind when you meditate or quiet your mind. You may want to consider some practices that are more about energy movement. It will help you to become more consciously aware of it all, and less subconscious spillover stuff.
  4. Gospel of Thomas

Yes, I would agree that such attempted mapping of concepts are common. But, I know of no such teaching from Jesus that states or implies illusory nature of the world. If anything, I would say that it is much closer to a more Taoist view. Where earthly life leads to death, but there is the potential to realize the underlying heavenly body (similar to immortal).
  5. Gospel of Thomas

To me, this one is more about outward projections to others. About clarity of mind, and not acting nice while thinking bad thoughts about others inside.
  6. Gospel of Thomas

I think Luke describes it pretty well... Luke 17: 20-21 20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” For a son of God, heaven is within (or a natural part of) you...
  7. Gospel of Thomas

In the teachings of Jesus, where do you get the concept of “illusory nature of the world”? On your quote specifically, I see it as meaning that heaven and earth are integrated (roll up together) in your presence. Like saying they overlap with in the presence of such a son of God.
  8. Energy Cultivation

Great stuff. And yes, some of it is concern with view (or inaccuracies). Very nice on the integration, but your energy feels more yang then yin currently. I also agree with your integration point at higher levels. On greater discernment, you may want to consider working with some other people energetically, as that may help with further refinement of perspective on the polarities.
  9. Not really that big of a problem. As all are subtly impacted by it even though they are not consciously aware of it. A sage that can share/teach that way can enter (the mind) “even where there is no room”.
  10. It is not possible to fight with or destroy with the emptiness of void. If there is fighting, there is no emptiness. The Tao Te Ching explains it well... FORTY-THREE The softest thing in the universe Overcomes the hardest thing in the universe. That without substance can enter where there is no room. Hence I know the value of non-action. Teaching without words and working without doing Are understood by very few.
  11. I also think there is a lot of ego/media driven "grade inflation". Very common for someone to have some energetic opening, read a book, and then declare it as awakening/realization/done. Like a spiritual ego trap where you get stuck.
  12. While I am not a fan of guru bashing, as I believe there are true gurus (light) in the world, I am always saddened when people start to believe their own marketing hype.
  13. Energy Cultivation

Welcome. I would suggest that you ignore the Mantak Chia stuff as you are already energetically beyond it. You are at the point where you want to start focusing more on the relative polarities of the energy. Maybe take a look at chapter 28 of the Tao Te Ching, as you have already begun to understand the strength of a man, but the heart of a woman (other polarity) is just as important. Best, Jeff
  14. Lineages- old and new

Very beautiful and thank you for sharing. I am sure his natural radiance helped with you finding a better energetic balance. People often get stuck in a more receptive mode and it can be very overwhelming.
  15. Not mixing

Depends on the system and practices. Some systems are integrated well and adding additional practices could result in some form of overload. Also, views may be different and that can result in different outcomes at a more subconscious level.
  16. Lineages- old and new

Even in your words here, you are somehow defining Unity consciousness as a thing, and then that it is somehow different than some other thing that you are calling awakening. None of these are defined terms, also I know of no tradition where two such things both exist and are separate things. Maybe it would be helpful if you could use some tradition framework and their terms. But to me, as ilumarien pointed out above, words no matter how pretty are simply words. True realization is “radiated” and can be easily felt.
  17. Lineages- old and new

My concern is that it is more about the interpretation of the wording. That people are trying to map some experience they have had to awakening/realization, when they are not the same level of realization. That someone may have had something like an opening of the heart experience and then declare it as the same as emptiness of self in their mind. They then believe they are “done”, when they have simply begun, and in essence trapping themselves in a new “spiritual” ego state. Like giving themselves trophys for simply participating...
  18. Lineages- old and new

Your question implies that you believe that all awakenings are the same. And hence all lineages are the same. I do not. View affects outcome. One persons awakening is another persons mental burp.
  19. Lineages- old and new

Why would an awakened teacher adopt a lineage of which they have not participated in? They would seem to have had their own path, and hence why would they not teach that? Additionally, since they have not been taught or trained with the actual lineage, how would they know that they had the actual realizations that the tradition describes, and it is not something different that they are just mapping to in their mind?
  20. My view on it is summed up in Chapter 25 of the Tao Te Ching... 25 Something mysteriously formed, Born before heaven and Earth. In the silence and the void, Standing alone and unchanging, Ever present and in motion. Perhaps it is the mother of ten thousand things. I do not know its name Call it Tao. For lack of a better word, I call it great. Being great, it flows I flows far away. Having gone far, it returns. Therefore, "Tao is great; Heaven is great; Earth is great; The king is also great." These are the four great powers of the universe, And the king is one of them. Man follows Earth. Earth follows heaven. Heaven follows the Tao. Tao follows what is natural. There is a natural flow. Concepts of love are more about Man following Earth (or oneness). It is a great power, but not the Tao. The Tao itself follows what is natural, and if one was to attempt to define that natural, it would be more something like "growth/expansion" or "realization of potential".
  21. Gospel of Thomas

Happy to discuss more if you are interested, but this gospel story will probably give you the answer you are looking for... “For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:14-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬ True light must be grown or it dies.
  22. Hello! Is Taoism right for me?

Interesting on your views. While I would agree that the institutional church has gone a little off direction, I am a huge fan of the teachings of Jesus. Very advanced and very similar to the Tao Te Ching. Lot of good stuff in the gospels (but I would probably throw away the Old Testament ). On real teachers... In my experience the true ones are definitely not about money. Most wont even take it. But, I agree there are a lot of fakes out there that are focused on money.
  23. your favourite verse and Why?

My favorite verse is Chapter 28 as it gives the progression of higher levels of realization that exists no where else in written words... Know the strength of man, But keep a woman's care! Be the stream of the universe! Being the stream of the universe, Ever true and unswerving, Become as a little child once more. Know the white, But keep the black! Be an example to the world! Being an example to the world, Ever true and unwavering, Return to the infinite. Know honor, Yet keep humility. Be the valley of the universe! Being the valley of the universe, Ever true and resourceful, Return to the state of the uncarved block. When the block is carved, it becomes useful. When the sage uses it, he becomes the ruler. Thus, "A great tailor cuts little."
  24. Hi Uselis, Your situation is that you have had an opening at the heart, but sort of like stuck in a highly receptive mode related to energy around you. Kind of like you are taking stuff in, but not releasing it back out. It is sort of like it is overwhelming your system and spilling over into your mind. In Taoist terms, it is a lack of balance of being too much yin, and not enough yang. The easiest way to help is working with another person (or being) that can go more receptive/yin than you while connected to you energetically. That will cause you to naturally go more yang to balance the connection, which will allow you to mentally sort of let some stuff go and relearn to balance more. In more normal mind descriptions, it is about not hanging on so tight and just letting things go and pass through. Feel free to ask any questions. Best, Jeff
  25. Like with the physical world, if someone is bullying you, you need someone bigger to keep the bully away (or teach you to deal with it). In chi terms, that is someone stronger or working with a "divine being". Is it still the same person that you mentioned from the other thread?
