  1. Wang Liping Low Level?

I think takes like this reveal how open one's mind is to possibility. My sense is that it is all true. Written with intent to carefully preserve what WL shared in interviews with the authors, who were participants in his training camps when he started teaching publicly. Even saying that some random guy wrote it suggests not having read it fully. If one wishes to explore depth, one needs to go deep. What experience does one have with that? Has one read the training manual that WL published? Has one studied the texts that are referred to and quoted? Does one have training experience in these methods? That is all necessary to just touch upon depth. It is more common for us to touch upon it in some type of practice we've been exposed to. But connecting all the dots to understand how the system works as a whole, is another matter entirely. And not everyone will be able to get it. That's just the way it should be. As Zhuangzi says, people often cannot comprehend what is beyond their own scope. So they should just let it be and not worry about passing judgment on such things. As Laozi says, pushing beyond thinking about stuff returns us to simplicity, and this is where emptiness is filled by spirit. Much of WL's training was just that. Learning to empty out and be filled by spirit, and letting it follow its natural course. Along the way, one discovers how the meridians flow, how the organs function, how healing works, and how the soul's curriculum is navigated by following the way. There were specific teachings to aid all of these things. Ultimately, when he began to teach, he had a complete understanding and a profound level of cultivation. So people who worked with him were able to progress quickly, if they did the work. But he remained a simple person. Plain and simple - but not ordinary. May we all learn to just be more plain and more simple. The fallout of this thread - and others - comes from not doing that.
