Apech replied to Haribol's topic in General Discussion
Light and dark are a duality. The goal is that which is either the union of both or what is beyond light and dark. By dark I don't mean the obscuration of light by matter for instance but perhaps that which is self transparent like space for instance. -
	That's the bear truth.

Yes, there are bears in Portugal, but they are extremely rare and limited to specific areas. The Cantabrian brown bear (*Ursus arctos arctos*), a subspecies of the European brown bear, is occasionally spotted in northern Portugal, particularly in the Montesinho Natural Park and the Peneda-Gerês National Park near the border with Spain. These bears are part of a small population that primarily inhabits the Cantabrian Mountains in Spain and sometimes wanders into Portugal. Historically, brown bears were more widespread in Portugal, but habitat loss, hunting, and human encroachment nearly drove them to extinction in the region by the 20th century. Recent conservation efforts in Spain have helped the Cantabrian bear population recover slightly, with estimates of around 300–400 bears in the Cantabrian Mountains as of recent years. In Portugal, sightings are infrequent, with only a few individuals (likely fewer than 5) occasionally crossing the border. For example, a bear was spotted in Montesinho in 2018, marking the first confirmed sighting in Portugal in over a century. There are no other bear species native to Portugal, and the country has no established resident bear population. Encounters are rare, and bears are not a significant part of Portugal’s wildlife today. If you’re in Portugal hoping to see one, you’d need to be in the remote northern regions and get extremely lucky. Always exercise caution and follow local guidelines if you’re in bear territory. Grok PS. There are a lot of fat hairy men who maybe mistaken for bears.

I studied Egypt for so long that things often evoke its symbols for me. I wonder how that works in men? Same cycle but not so pronounced maybe or something else… hmmmm thinks.
 -
That sounds good. Did you keep a dream diary? Are there any books which helped you work out what to do. The menstrual cycle thing makes me think of the Egyptian red eye white eye thing. Maybe there's a connection.
 -
That’s quite good though. I kept a dream diary for a couple of months which culminated in a lucid dream of standing at the edge of a forest looking out at what was essentially complete blackness. I found that any techniques aimed at developing lucidity just ruined my sleep and gave me insomnia. Quite frustrating really- I’d love to be more competent at it. Do you have a good method?
 -
Are you an accomplished dreamer. I’ve tried over the years with mixed results. Mostly only spontaneous lucid dreams with little control.

You need that like a hole in the head!

well yes the brain thing was just poetic license to tie in with Cobie. I am impressed by the way that you can type so well from a rowing boat in the Atlantic.

Let me explain more. The particular pyramid text quoted was placed on the wall above the sarcophagus which held the kings mummy. The dead king is identified with Osiris. While Osiris is often called a god of resurrection actually he only resurrects sufficiently to impregnate Isis. So while he is dead he is able to achieve an erection and ejaculate. This is how Horus the son is conceived. So in effect his penis has risen while he remains brain dead … or his brain is in the gutter as @Cobie put it.
 -
	Well actually that’s pretty close!
 -
Horus being the god in question. I don’t know though given their culture lasted over 3000 years that it was that harmful. Similarly the Chinese culture is now even older - so some secret in this use of heavy metals maybe?
