A Gemini Wood Dragon nonetheless. 2024 is her year.

Amazing exuberant energy. So typical of Wood!

Where else other than the Internet to find these hidden gems. That was in the happy 80s.

  3. Sorry but you can't possibly self-medicate in Chinese Medicine by using some random formula. A Chinese Medicine herbalist will never prescribe you the same herbal formula twice since your condition is always changing and as a result the practitioner will adapt the formula to the changes in the existing condition.

You are dealing here with unseen forces ; the dynamic and complex nature of the Five Forces and how the they affect YOU plus your own energetic makeup and overall state of yin-yang imbalance not only Heart Yin deficiency.

The doctor will slowly progress through various stages before tackling the Heart. The internal organs work together; you can't possibly tackle one without causing an effect in another and the whole system.

You ought to see an experienced herbalist for that. And you are taking about the Heart, the House of Fire, no other than that.

DO NOT MEDICATE YOURSELF FROM THE CHINESE MEDICINE PERSPECTIVE or else you can cause yourself some serious damage and worsen your own condition.

    Good luck!

  5. More tree juice. This time a Taiwan High Mountain oolong with a lot of Cha Qi grown at an altitude of 2050m facing the Eastern Pacific Almost tea drunk and with a very spaced out feeling. The Wood Dragon is helping too plus a full day spent in the rainforest wandering and interacting with the natural world.  Tea drinking never feels this great!

The Chinese are masters of tea cultivation and production. Been doing it for nearly 5,000 years so it makes sense their teas are a gift to humanity.

Thanks China and Taiwan for making beautiful tea. :)

  6. Maybe the connection is related to the Ba Gua Zhang's teachers location which is in both instances Beijing. It's quite possible they both learnt meditation material via their Chinese teachers which would be Taoist in nature. Dong Haichuan taught also meditation to his students not only a highly advanced and sophisticated martial art system. Dong himself learnt from mountain Taoists in his travels throughout China.

The late Xie Peiqi from the Yin style BGZ also taught seated meditation techniques, eg:

I have this crushing emotional pain in my chest much of the time

Lung dysfunction. But in Taoism/Chinese Medicine nothing works independently, everything is interrelated. Basically you need to clear and heal all the organ networks.

Circle walking Ba Gus Zhang is brilliant at this especially when practiced in the natural environment on a daily basis.

Average time frame: 10 years for a significant change.

May I ask what is your DOB?

    Celestial Dragon!'

I'm about to brew some Yi Wu Mountain Raw Puerh to celebrate the view of the Dragon in the sky. Yin & Yang are in balance. Enjoying the movement of Qi this year. Very energising :)

  9. Some of those raw puerh teas coming from China are just pure magic.

Drinking puerh is basically absorbing the energy of the planet and those amazing trees growing in the Yunnan region of China.

I drink this tea every day; it never ceases to deliver pure goodness in a small cup. Then straight to seated meditation practice. :)

  10. If you like I can post the 3-week entire Vipassana retreat according to the northern Thai Tradition (Theravada Buddhism). It's split into two main routines practiced equally: walking and seated meditation.

It's not Taoist obviously but in any case extremely helpful since it will teach you how to meditate properly. The only problem is that having a supervising teacher is very important as they'll help you to get through the various stages of until the level of stream-entry is attained which is the main goal of a 3-week retreat.

Why is Christianity such a strange religion?

WHY ARE ALL RELIGIONS SO STRANGE?

    Who needs them anyway. ;)

Edit: About Christianity and the ultimate God which seems is like some sort of "dude" sitting somewhere on top of us watching everything. This creates a lot of fear.

A person who doesn't believe in Christ will go to Hell. Yes indeed!

A very flawed belief system, for sure.

  12. Hi Maddie,

Knowing the past history of this forum being populated by really deluded individuals borderline pathological, I thought you were one of them too by posting photos of a friend, girlfriend or relative.

Please take no offence, I had no idea you were a transgender.

    All the best,

    Gerard :)

This is why I ask why am I not enlightened?

    Irrelevant.

Finish all your created at once lifetimes and GAME OVER. How many? As many as you did with the initial *Big Bang (all souls/minds' efforts to create reality). It coukd be 201, 250, 310, who knows.

"The Big Bang was the moment 13.8 billion years ago when the universe began as a tiny, dense, fireball that exploded. Most astronomers use the Big Bang theory to explain how the universe began. But *what caused this explosion in the first place is still a mystery."

    *Refer to the first paragraph.

Time is still irrelevant as it's a mind construction to asign a date to an specific event from the space-time continuum. Outside that, it no longer exists.

From the evolution of the Year of the Dragon in 2024, there will be more earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, and wars in 2026 (Fire Horse) and 2027 (Fire Goat/Sheep) years.

    There you go:

Taiwan's strongest earthquake in 25 years kills nine, tsunami warnings lifted

Japan lifted the tsunami alert following the quake:

Yet more to come. This is only the beginning of a string of similar events.

Im curious if you would like to share some advice and practice? As an euro, this is quite foreign to me

I'm a euro too and it would be totally foreign to me hadn't I moved to Australia, where the movement of Wood and Fire are the dominant forces here (South and East).

I started Ba Gua Quan/Zhang in 2008 combined with a bit of seated and more moving meditation Vipassana based.

The sky is the limit let me tell you that.
