  1. I met yesterday an extraordinary healer, a woman of a yogic tradition. Here in Australia.

Her practice is simple sitting meditation aiming at pranic flows and maintaining concentration in the third eye.

She vibrates at a very high level and when we met yesterday I could feel her strong chi flow.

She heals people but not in person. She told me her method is at distance, while the patient is in sleep. She enters a state of deep trance then visits the person in need and is capable of seeing inside them and locate what is wrong with them and uses intent and her hands to remove the condition. She mentioned that the most bizarre things she encountered where parasites (a kind of white octopus attached to the brain and with long tentacles that were going down to almost the chest level. It took her months to remove this thing. She said it was extremely difficult as the patient was an old guy with poor health) and numerous small balls of light with a black dot inside another of her patients.

We talked about a range of issues including the poor shape of our current society in terms of spiritual development. We agreed it was caused by human overpopulation and how it has affected the quality of various "chi/prana" flowing on earth: food and air chi as well electromagnetic disturbances which have a direct effect on the pineal gland.

I felt she would fit well the Bodhisattva category of Buddhism as she loves healing and helping those in need, free of charge of course.

I told her about the her experiences with beings of other astral realms. I asked her about dragons. Honestly I have no idea about why I mentioned this mythological creature. She simply told me:

"They are magnificent creatures, simply amazing and live in a astral realm that is next to ours."

I told her "I know they were for real especially when ancient humans depicted them so often in numerous media. I guess mystics in the past were able to see them in their meditations or in a state of trance."

Then we went to discuss about the fact the future of humanity. I said to her:

"I think it doesn't look to good."

She agreed, lots of suffering is about to come, famine and natural disasters will shake Earth in the next 20 to 30 years.

During our talk I looked inside of her and said to her:

"You were a man in your previous life, right?"

    She replied:

    "Yes."

    I asked again:

    "And of German background."

    She replied:

"Yes, during WWII I was put in a concentration camp because of being a gay. It was a traumatic experience."

At one point she felt uncomfortable because I was sending too much "chi" inside of her and she asked me to stop. I apologised to her and promised not to do it again.

Then we went on the topic of why she didn't become a renunciate and put all her effort into attaining Nirvana.

    She said:

"It is not my time yet for my main goal in this life is healing others."

She is 47 years of age but physically has the appearance of a 65 year old person due to the constant flux of chi to heal others. Anyway she doesn't care about her physical appearance anymore.

We all humans have the capability of vibrating at a higher frequency but most remain unawakened. If they just put a bit of time to look within themselves for few minutes a day instead of putting so much effort into material pursuits and sex!

Thanks for reading this story about my encounter with this remarkable healer.

    Namo Amitabha.

  2. No, I don't think I am awakened. But I guess that depends what "awakened" means to you.

Being able to see the truth behind the Dharma. Being able to see beyond physical reality.

What does that mean? You created your own "Buddhist" teaching?

Consciousness after death is carried by a medium (spiritual energy) and shaped by karma, hence a new individual is formed. No ego, no individual soul is carried after but the karmic seeds are.

    Summing up,

    Spiritual energy = karmic energy.

  3. LOL were you aware that being over-opinionated is a "tension" in the mind which detracts from any endeavour of enlightenment.

Are you aware that posting in this forum is robbing you precious time that you could use in achieving your goals?

    You are very funny. :)

This is a forum ans as such we are discussing about a topic. Did I ever say if you don't agree with what I say I would neutralise you with my chi!

    Just settle down, please.

Well said Stig, there are an awful lot of PERIODs on this thread.

What does it mean when we add the word Period to a statement?

Is there something we can learn about ourselves from that?

To me, this is worth investigating.

It's much more interesting than watching someone do Qigong and (with all due respect Patrick) much better than listening to Abba.

It means end of discussion. Poor examples have been given in here. Athletes on roids. What's next a "bodhisattva" high on ketamine??

  4. Perhaps, because the younger you are the more impressionable you are. But the younger you are, the more difficult it is to stay with one thing. So unless there'd be a constant presence of teachings, it would wear out pretty fast.

I enjoy more talking to children than adults about spiritual stuff. Less ego :)

Who did once say about children being the "salt of earth."

    So you are awakened?

    Like yourself.

And that is not Buddhist teaching.

    Certainly mine is ;)

    durkhrod chogori

Great, can i ask why did you become a Buddhist?

    Spirit Ape

Can I ask you something? In which life? ;)

Can I ask you to explain more about anicca (impermanence,) dukkha (suffering), anatta (no self), what really means attaining a Buddha state, rebirth?

Wow, sorry I feel a bit lazy to write about this. Too long sorry. Maybe some other Buddhist who lurks in this forum can give you a more detailed answer. My apologies for being a lazy writer, which indeed I am.

Once I had a talk with a 5 year old boy...

Thanks for sharing your story here. There is so much to learn from children. We should listen to them more often.

    Namo Amitabha.

  5. Well strength training does nothing for internal power, and it really is detrimental because tension only leads to chi blockage.

If you practice Mabu with Bagua & Xingyi for instance you'll develop your external power as well, naturally, without adding tension to your body by using external devices.

I am not saying that my style is better than yours in here. Just following Traditional Taoist practices which I always believed are the best for health as well as spiritual development. Later you have Buddhism which is the best system for enlightenment. Period.

  6. You have no idea what you are talking about, look at the Olympics China won most of the gold medals not bad for YIN ASIANS!!!

This monk has an amazing body he has obviously put the time into his kung fu and would wipe the floor with that XingYi teacher (even in his prime).

    Calm down.

Please do not tell me that you believe in the whole Olympics thing.

    Watch this:

And not only her, most of pro athletes are on the juice.

And tests sometimes are useless with athletes with a genetic variance:

    http://ec.europa.eu/research/headlines/new...8_04_23_en.html

Shaolin today is a circus. There is no internal power on any of those circus-performing monks. And Shaolin are Buddhist, they don't practice Taoist Neijia.

I feel you are part of the new Chinese brainwashed by the commies. It's a shame what happened to China after the departure of Chiang Kai-shek.

One last thing, that monk has used steroids, period.

  7. He's got a dvd on internal meditations and bone marrow washing.

    It means nothing.

    Where do you live?

Maybe there is a good Neijia/Qigong instructor in your area you could learn from instead of relying on DVDs which IMO don't cut it.

Edit: And I forgot to add something. After watching him and his physique it wouldn't be surprising he has taken steroids (especially for a Yin Asian). <_<

    Stay away from him!

    Much better.

  8. This amazing dharani is good to recite everyday. Homage to the greatly wise and compassionate Avalokitesvara noble & inconcievably virtuous.

BTW, Durkhord, do you have an audio source of the dharani in sanskrit (as above). I've only ever come accross the audio in mandarin. I much prefer sanskrit.

    Hi Matt,

    Here we go:

Very Yin chanting (female) a pure delight to the spirit. :)

  9. Thanks my sensitive online pal :)

Attaining Buddhahood is absolute perfection. The last step to Nirvana. Hmm...that elusive final goal. :(

Regarding the gurus being criticised here. Well...they also suffer and we should feel love and compassion for them as well:

  10. Hmmm...Better if you show some manners before asking for help. You are just being rude.

Traditionally in Taoism only few were selected for higher teachings.

In Buddhism they are open but not many last because the teachings themselves are the test.

    Good luck.

  11. More I can think of subtle non-sensory phenomena recognised as a characteristic of absorption (jhana-nimitta):

    1. The Divine ear or clairaudience (dibba-sota) which will remain until the meditator experiences physical death

    2. Divine eye (dibba-cakkhu)

    2. Sweet smell and/or taste

    3. Various vibratory sensations on the skin

    4. Feeling of floating during meditation

    5. Bliss, ecstasy

    6. Etc

  12. I had a wonderful experience at work today (yes I do work, unfortunately this monk needs to work to have a place to sleep and food to eat :( ). I work as a school teacher and did supply work in a different school were I normally work. It happened that these three girls were sitting down on the floor while doing their work instead of their chairs like the rest of the class. This class was in one of the computer rooms. I asked them why were sitting on the floor, one replied: "because we are Buddhists!" They all started laughing. I said, "really? Well I am one as well and don't sit on the floor when I do my work". And from that very moment we ended up talking about Nirvana, anicca (impermanence,) dukkha (suffering), anatta (no self), what really means attaining a Buddha state, rebirth, and so forth.

These girls, especially one of them were so touched by the significance of our little discussion that I realised that higher spiritual teachings are better delivered to young people, especially before they fully become teenagers as in this age they mostly care about what society has on offer: love/flirting, cars, appearance, clothing, etc.

Wasn't Wang Liping a Taoist who started also at a very young age because his masters were also aware of this.

Don't Tibetan Buddists also start at a very young age to get initiated in various tantric initiations?

Today I also had a talk with a professional colleague who seemed interested in spiritual practices but unfortunately she was already too attached to her family and for her spirituality was more a kind of a trendy thing to do than anything else. On the contrary, I felt those students experienced something they never felt before, something that was hidden to them because our society is dormant, too Yang, only focuses on external values.

I told the students: start practicing yoga now, do just a bit every day until it becomes a routine. Do good and avoid doing any kind of harm even if harm is directed towards you.

I enjoy teaching unawakened humans higher spiritual teachings. I wish adults were more open-minded.

Note: Yesterday I worked with 7 yr old children and I asked two of the girls that seemed to be very curious about me:

"Do you know there is a spirit inside of us?" They replied: "Yes, we know."

They said it in a such a frank manner that I realised the older humans they get the more they drift apart from their primordial state.

    :)

  13. Of course, I should expect that most of us experience varying Siddhi's resulting from our practices.

I'd like to hear about them.

I have experiences that I would like to share. -Ever since studying the 'Secret of the Golden Flower' in highschool, I have on-and-off Psychic experiences. It feels as thought I am 'hearing' the internal dialogue of others, in very short bursts.

It is stronger with some than with others. It is totally random. I have no control.

I feel that sometimes I try to 'control it', or 'focus it', but that what happens most of the time, from this, is that i feel I am projecting what I want'expect to 'hear'. It is difficult for me, then, to really feel whether or not a psychic experience is genuine or not. (usually, I am pretty positive it is genuine when I am being silent, and it surprises me.)

Can anyone relate with this experience? Can someone tell me what it is supposed to be like when you're 'psychic'?

-Or, really, share some of your own Siddhi experiences for a good time!!

A friend of mine, also a Taoist but no Buddhist at all :( , also has developed that siddhi.

** have some but don't pay attention to them. No good as ** care about higher goals.

** don't agree with you opening a thread about this subject as it will reinforce our egos. Careful please!!

    :)

  14. I have no idea whether it is growing or not but what I really know is that is becoming increasingly more Yang and will eventually reach a Yin state (glaciation) to reach the balance again.

The problem is that this growth is not going to really have a healing effect on the damage done by the constant human unawakened activity. It will be the end of it sometimes in the near future.

  15. Haha what do you mean NO?

HA is te expel heart issues & also purify anahata winds.

it is used in Bon po & many tibetan trulkhors to purify heart.

Well when I said No is No and period. End of story.

    Hahaha. ;)

It looks like in Tibetan health practices the sound used is the one you mentioned but in Chinese Taoist practices the sound is "Kher".

    Take care :)

  16. Heart Healing Sound:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoDyilMA6x8

The sound is "Qher" but without saying the "r".

However you should add the following to that process:

    1. While holding your breath, use your mind to lead chi up from your yinbai point on the Spleen Channel, passing through your shangqiu, your sanyinjiao and your yinlingquan points. Then lead the qi up the inside of you thigs and into your abdomen. Continue up into your Heart Channel.

    2. During exhalation, lead chi from your Heart Channel through your shaohai point, to your shenmen point, and out through your shaochong point at the tip of your little finger. Exhale out all the impurities in your Heart Channel.

Here's a page that will help you locate both meridians and the aforementioned points:

    http://www.acupuncture.com.au/education/me.../meridians.html

This Gong should be repeated 3 times.

    Good luck :)

  17. In order to purify your mind and strengthen your spirit, I recommend you reading this book instead:

    http://www.amazon.com/Food-Bodhisattvas-Bu...g/dp/1590301161

Better than giving advice to women on how to suck men's vital force, which in turn is bad karma. Taking without giving is a selfish act and will in turn be detrimental to your spiritual development.
