  1. RELIGULOUS

Thanks for that. I won't miss it!
  2. Meditating somewhere haunted

I forgot to mention I live in an area known by the Aboriginal people to be the worst to build a city: Brisbane, Australia. Yes, this whole place is awful. Bad chi.
  3. 'Whatever you do, DONT LAUGH!' :D

Nothing wrong with it. It is one aspect of what is called spontaneous qigong. Keep doing it.
  4. Differentiating Yin and Yang in your body

Feet (especially) and hands= yin Head=full of ideas and nonsense (hahaha)...yang Front of body = yin Back of body = yang Inner part of legs, arms and torso= yin Outer part of the above = yang External part of body = yin Internal part of body = yang Internal organs are classified according to this distinction as well, but to feel this you must be a very advanced spiritual practitioner (monk/yogi). Here they are: - Liver, heart, spleen, lungs and kidneys (yin). - Gall bladder, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, bladder and triple burner/sanjiao (yang). Yin feels soft and cold. Yang feels hard and hot.
  5. 30 days free trial

I don't understand what you are trying to say here in public. Disasters. end of the world, wealth or position, losing a chance to survive...All of this is empty...mind creations...who cares. Your Buddha nature is indestructible, eternal, it moves in par with the wheel of karma until one day whe karmic conditions are right...bum! You realise it and reach Nirvana. The rest is meaningless. Chi and all that energy stuff is excellent to maintain good health and nourish your higher energy centres, but that alone won't lead you to enlightenment. The missing factors are sila (wisdom) and prajna (morality) assuming that you cultivate chi using samadhi (meditation). I repeat again, there is nothing wrong with charging $ (I wouldn't do it) as long as the teacher is upfront. I hope you are not offended with my words. Namaste. Edit: misspelled a word
  6. Meditating somewhere haunted

I have done it and never will go back. Not because of spirits but mozzies swarming onto me like vampires. Yes cemeteries attract heaps of Yin energy, even trees are nearly dead because of that but also attract one of the most Yin creatures we have on this plane: mosquitoes. Better meditate near a waterfall or falling water. Like this in Thai land: http://www.flickr.com/photos/visbeek/2768758394/ Theravadins love to meditate in places like that. Go and ask them. Another option is under a tree, like Gautama Buddha did. Inside a cave is good too. There are better options than graveyards.
  7. 30 days free trial

Li Jiong, I think you should be upfront by explaining exactly the conditions of your program. What happens after the 30 days free trial? Or it would sound a very commercial venture. I believe that making money out the spiritual is wrong. In fact all teachings of the Buddha are free. Now, society has changed and there is more pressure to own and possess (and even pay bills and have a decent job) due to the karmic conditions developed after the industrial revolution. OK then charging would be somehow acceptable but one must be clear about it without hiding anything to avoid the creation of bad karma. And, honestly, our astral plane has plenty of it. Regards.
  8. Fake. That legend has been going around for many centuries: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandrake_(plant) That Chinese woman has let the root grow into a container with that shape, lol! Old trick. Real mandrake root:
  9. Physical condition

Definitively not a good idea. Fasting is a very demanding thing on your body & mind. You'll shock your body and place too much stress on your nervous system. Don't even try fasting while you are working either. Best is done at meditation retreats or during your holidays, if you got nothing to do.
  10. Xingyi in Portland

Well, you can drop Tai chi altogether and develop strength directly with Xingyi. You won't look back for a very long time.
  11. Youthfulness and Regeneration

In society you won't live over 100 with a strong and relatively youthful appearance. Too much leakage and toxins. You would have to follow the vow of silence forever. Remember that a lot of energy is used up while speaking. Live in a cave/shack or become a wandering mystic in remote mountainous regions, i.e. Pamir, Altai, Kunlun, Tien Shan, Southern Alps of New Zealand... Love to do that for a period of time.
  12. Physical condition

Fasting + intensive meditation = if you can. Alternatively, can you swim or walk for long distances + healthy diet.
  13. 1434

Well I can say you haven't taken a look at the link I posted in my first message, otherwise you wouldn't have posted that. It clearly says at the top: Many people have discovered America. Only one can claim to be the real discoverer, because all the others discovered a land already occupied by people. Sadly, the original discoverer's name is lost in the mists of time, so it's now left to the reader to decide which of the following to believe. I guess many discovered America but officially it was Colon, period.
  14. 1434

I don't believe this Chinese tale very much, sorry. If this were true then we would have to accept the rest of the challenges too. Read this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A1029313 Officially Cristobal Colon discovered America, and so be it.
  15. use chi to power your punch

Fake vid. Empty force in MA is a Chinese legend. I yet have to see it. Just concentrate on working hard (drills, drills, drills!) your IMA style to develop your chi and meditate often to purify your mind. This is the well kept secret all masters guard with so much secrecy. There is no substitute to hard work. Namo Amitabha.
  16. McDonald's Immortality

OK I am going to Maccas tomorrow and buy one and do the same thing. Let me find out whether the story is tru or fake.
  17. I know how you feel. It also happens to me like many others. It is a very difficult stage and it takes a very long time to fully overcome. You should read this info about the dark night of the soul: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Night_of_the_Soul http://www.greatwesternvehicle.org/jhana&a...hamaviharas.htm Listen to this: http://www.greatwesternvehicle.org/dhammat.../05-26-06.1.mp4 Good luck!! I also recommend you reading the content linked because you obviously haven't transformed yourself to achieve this difficult stage.
  18. First of all, read this: http://buddhism.kalachakranet.org/delusion...loneliness.html I have too: 1. Loneliness. 2. Laziness. Plus attachment on top of that. How far am I from the final goal? Very Time left: I am 41 yrs old. Maybe another 40 yrs or more depending on karma. So....the odds are 1:2 What should I do? Probably move my lazy attached to the world ass and get involved with more spiritual retreats instead of dwelling in the ordinary world seeking for material pleasure. I will and need to start now not tomorrow!!!! How about you? How much are you doing in order to break through illusory phenomena? Is it really working?
  19. Personal quote

I bring peace to my self and non-self.
  20. Question About Taoism Vs. Buddhism

Buddhism = polish the mind until you manage to overcome Samsara's gravitational pull. Taoism = follow nature and its energetic system. Both complement each other perfectly. No religion, just a philosophy of life. Practice sitting/lying meditation (or whatever other method you like, even walking is good as long as you are able to detach from the external surroundings and bring about peace to the mind) with direct neigong work (Bagua, Xingyi) and you are set. Good luck!
  21. Need A Huge Favor Please

Who do you need to contact? Send me a PM if you are still in need. Regards.
  22. Insight

If you have the chance to meet this Taoist teacher do so: Share K. Lew. http://www.jadedragon.com/archives/lew.html Good luck.
  23. After Dao what?

Cessation of suffering, Nirvana. What else do you want? I would be very happy if I reach that state in this lifetime. More than happy, pure ecstasy. Namo Amitabha.
  24. Can Someone Answer This Question For Me

    What else do you need?
  25. My fellow trees

I love trees, but the old ones and especially oaks and beeches. They are very wise and old souls. 900 years old beech tree located in Bavaria, Germany. They have the perfect balance of Yin and Yang, which explains why so many animals seek refuge in them. If you can hug one of those old trees, you will feel the energy transfer into you. I wish I could do circle walking around any of them. Trees are wise, they know how to flow with the Tao Namo Amitabha.
