  1. Fajin (發勁), executing an explosive force

This is an amazing share thank you! I have never heard of these Faijin methods before. What lineage did you learn them in and where did u learn them?
  2. No Old Sorcerers?

Yes the Goetia are just the “Old Gods” whose followers lost and they became the demonized.
  3. No Old Sorcerers?

All those old men prophet types of the Bible were first magicians and demonologists, then found the one God, duality to non-duality like us all.
  4. No Old Sorcerers?

Terry Dunn of all people praises the Thoth Tarot, in fact memorizing it in the Flying Phoenix thread. He seems to have some occult background and in fact that thread and the further research it spawned led me to realize how “occult” all lineages are Eastern and Western…each lineage has an anchor entity or egregore that is the keystone of it’s power and acts as a sort of harnessing of the forces of the universe thru that particular symbology and imagery. But the value in memorizing the deck seems to be kinda of like the hexagrams of the I Ching, at first they are pictures, descriptions, or yarrow sticks and then they become active forces you can see and “manipulate” to find your Way. A useful exercise for sure but I’d only worry about the Trumps (of Amber 😉) and not sure I’d want his energies thru that deck…perhaps it’s powerful but worry about the taint of it as per the message of this thread about old sorcerers. Why do you like the Thoth deck so much? And what’s your tarot experience? I am a Rider Waite purist myself but have wanted a Necronomicon/Cthulhu deck for a long while but fear it’s darkness lol I have this really cool tarot like deck that is an American indigenous teaching based imagery I really like with card names like “Old Woman Sorcerer” it vibes nice with me.
  5. I have reason to believe that

It is a treasure you find in your own heart and a strange sense of freedom from learning to trust in God and empty yourself of your self 🙏 Thank you so much, it has been a hard two months, difficult and changing for me, but hardest on my oldest child who “lost my best friend” 😔 and it’s so hard to watch your child suffering as you mutely impotently stand by as all you can do really. He was my very close to be my son in law and I think of him as part of our lineage and clan, it was an and is very very hard on us. We are 6, wife and kids but very close. He was the first to truly join our circle. I met a famous spiritual teacher named Malati at his passing. She was the reason I say his death was “spiritual” for me. He grew up practicing Hindu with his parents but they all had drifted away from it, but kept some private practices. But Malati is very famous I guess, perhaps some of you know her? She was a spiritual advisor to the Beatles and is based in West Virginia. She arrived unexpectedly at the moment of his death. That is a true thing. She was supposed to be there that day to bless him (he was expected to pass in hours to days) at some point but no one knew when and she was just there, hugging his family and mine and she was just there right when she was needed. And she has incredible peaceful radiance that is pure and deeply touching into your being. I hope to meet her again and would welcome the chance. And I think I will.
  6. You are a solid OG my man, if you say he ain’t got the juice, I’m not interested in learning anymore about him…unfortunately just another fakir on the corner shelling out his own soul little by little.
  7. I have reason to believe that

Religion is itself just another cage, but “spirituality” was how I became aware there were bars.
  8. I have reason to believe that

OMG and you are a Tool fan 🤟 (and thus a Bill Hicks fan 😝) Anyone into magick SHOULD be into Tool, lyrically, musically, imagery, ALL is magick 😁 Have seen Enochian symbols on their gear as well. The universe, God, and us all a fractal of course.
  9. I have reason to believe that

Wow! Love all you said there a lot! 😁 some of these references I know, others have me making note of them to wander down yonder one days past, but this guys work came immediately to mind when I read your response and wonder if you read his work or saw a video presentation of his? https://www.my-big-toe.com
  10. I have reason to believe that

Completely agree, but can you expand on that a bit? 🤓
  11. I have reason to believe that

Yes me as well! And the more it happens now (it has greatly increased over my years of practice) the deeper my gratitude for each and every thing becomes. And yes only “exactly what I need,” never what I WANT. Nothing there, dead tree. I have confronted a deep loss to our family recently and it has accelerated me a bit and changed me very deeply in good ways. And my only explanation for our loss I am left with is it’s a “mystery” of God. And the crazy thing is I am ok with it, it’s odd to me, as what has appeared to be a person who has traveled in this body for the last 54 years, that person I thought I knew would not be comforted in anyway by something he would have called “laughable and naive, like a child” and who knew that was just what I had to become to see with clarity and find peace 🙏
  12. I have reason to believe that

Yes to the first in many ways it’s true. Yes, indeed that is the case for each of us 😁
  13. This seems to happen every now and then 😑 I am finding the more money they ask for, the less they have to really offer. I hate seeing good people taken advantage of.

“QUESTION: When it is said that the white and red elements in the form of the vital drops, in the head and the navel, meet at the heart and dissolve together when one dies, are these something other than egg and sperm? RINPOCHE: Actually the original sperm and ovum have grown to form your whole body. The drops are not so much the original sperm and ovum as they are the essence or kernel of them, or you could say the kernel or essence of what has grown out of them. During your life, according to tantric physiology, the kernel of the white aspect, which you received from your father, is housed inside your head, close to the top. The kernel or essence of the red aspect, which you received from your mother, is seated below your navel, in the abdomen. In between these two is the basic prana that keeps you alive. These two actually keep the prana from escaping. When you die this prana collapses in on itself, into the heart. While these two keep the prana from escaping, the prana itself keeps the one up and the other down. When the prana withdraws into the heart, they then go in with it. The white drop comes down from the head, the red drop comes up from the abdomen, and they meet at the heart. QUESTION: So the prana is going between the two? TRANSLATOR: The specific prana—it is called the life-force wind” Source: Creation and Completion: Essential of Tantric Meditation Jamgon Kongtrul The Life-Force Wind In the heart center resides another of the root wind energies, the wind that “holds” the life force. The most important of all the wind energies and known as the root of all the winds, the life- force wind is what keeps us alive. The current of life between the two poles of positive and negative energy, male and female, light and dark, Yin and Yang, life and death…everything is a tension mosaic between two extremes. Every being, each moment in time, the force of a particle’s electron wave manifests BECAUSE of this dynamic, without it there would be no spark, no ability to exist, there would be “no thing.” Which is why we can’t choose “this or that” because we need it ALL to be as it is, even though some is painful or undesirable or something we don’t want from our perspective because of our finite clinging ego mind. Nothing can be as it is without the whole universe being as it is. So when we meditate and bring the Yin (Earth) energy up from Muladhara, root gate and Yang (Heaven) energy down from Bai Hui to meet in your center (MDT), you are recreating the very creation of your Being, reuniting the two halves of the original Essence to form the Shengtai “holy embryo” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shengtai).
  15. Tien Tao Chi kung

“The drawings shown on the front are reproductions from "Hsing-ming Chr Kwei" or "Meaning of Nature and Destiny". Written in 16th century, the book is used to explain meditative breathing techniques. The front view shows the centers of the involuntary circulation of Chi energy. The middle field of elixer (dan tien) is represented by a new moon and three stars, the yellow court by a square, and the lower dan tien by a cauldron. The right hand of the figure holds a moon, symbolized by jade rabbit. The left hand holds the sun, symbolized by a three legged bird. The three legs of the bird symbolize Heaven, Earth and Man. Sun and moon are the movers which bring about the circular movement of the energy in the body. The drawing on the back shows the centers of the controlled course of the energy circulation. These drawings explain that Chi Energy will awaken when the yin and yang energies of the body are balanced. Postnatal chi derived from food and drink will then liberate prenatal chi stored in the bone and marrow. "A spark will be born in the pot (abdomen) when cinnabar (elixir) is inside and mercury (spirit) is enough. After they are mixed the yellow seed (chi) is planted and will grow. You may laugh at the cauldron (cooking pot lower abdomen) but its drug is life so don't waste time on idle talk. You may laugh at the cauldron but its method is to cultivate the essence. (when the river is calm you will find the gem) My form is Shen Tai (spiritual). When the flower opens the news will be of the yellow seed. Refining the sexual essence must be controlled by the soul or else it is as if you are boiling an empty pot. The small figure fanning the pot represents "kindling the fire" by regulating the breath. The cauldron pot in which the essence is boiled (to become chi) is the lower abdomen (dan tien).” Anyone have the videos? And most importantly, are they worth it? 🙏🙂
  16. No, you don't have to build a Dantian

Yes I have found mudras to be powerful and very helpful at times. Who is Rudi? 🙂
  17. No, you don't have to build a Dantian

Yes, it would lack the purity of what is thought of as perhaps a more "pure emptiness" intent I agree, but I have never minded "crossing streams" and finding my own way in the sticks Absolutely it is easier for a higher current to run in a better wired system!
  18. No, you don't have to build a Dantian

Just added this book to my que! This sounds amazing from both your comments and the reviews on the Shambhala website! Especially intrigued by the "surprising amount of Vajrayana cross-over" Seems like an amazing book and a real missing link many of us could have used much earlier...but things do come when they do. "Wherever you go there you are." Buckaroo Banzai Thank you for the pointing my friends
  19. No, you don't have to build a Dantian

This my friend! Exactly it! Nothing to build, pack, etc. you are refining the engine to burn at a monumentally enlarged and changed level that transcends the finite. It's Creation within. Exhaustless, indefatigable, processor/process.
  20. No, you don't have to build a Dantian

"like tissues being pushed aside by an object" yes! but its struggle to express it with clarity and eloquence. What "methods that supposedly build a physical dantian" did you use?
  21. Foundation, and feeling the qi

Dude this amazing! And I love your use of imagery and diagrams and your style is very engaging. I see you have quite a few other articles on that site...think I found few hours of incredible reading and teaching material here! Thank you for sharing this! I am sure you guys already have a pinned Zhan Zhuang post that is perfect for a beginner somewhere around here, but this would be perfect for anyone starting out. Lots of great succinct information here too those a bit further along the path too
  22. DB at its finest lol 😂 Yes it will. It will however improve the function of a lot more. Hope you can set your sights a bit higher 🙂
  23. Neidan Internal Alchemy

Depends, with my personal tree I practice and meditate with it does certainly. I am happy you know what the torus is! Learning about it was like a light bulb coming on for me and it made things that were happening to me make alot more sense. What is your “central experience” now that the torus is gone? I have felt my LDT for years but I have recently felt it fuse with my MDT. I have struggled with emotions and “opening my heart” but the recent loss of a close family member a month and half ago has led me to a very deep and free place. His passing was devastating to our family but at the same time very spiritual for me. Some things different, my tongue feels “right” like it belongs on the roof of my mouth (Magpie Bridge), when I practice vase breathing I can feel the energy gathering in my MDT so strongly, the “locks” and holds are easier, feel just right, I am less concerned about the world, news, etc. I used to be a sexual dynamo and craved it, but now less is ok and I don’t have the feelings of want for it and other things. I am calmer, let things go more easily, I feel filled with peace and wellbeing at times and suddenly will be struck out of nowhere with the idea “everything is ok, nothing is wrong”
  24. Neidan Internal Alchemy

Do tell the pre-Heaven secrets of Neidan then please 🙂 Finally DB gets what it wants! 😝
  25. Neidan Internal Alchemy

@MIchael80 Meant “Pre-Heaven” =“Pre-birth” I use those words interchangeably. Why do you consider the Bindus “post heaven”? But for sure I agree the Dan and Shengtai are both eternal and flawless like our “Buddha Nature” Only something Infinite can be the key to u lock Infinity. And yes everything everywhere exists simultaneously 🙂 But from your perspective what makes “how they are accessed and worked on differently”? Enjoying the discussion 🙏
