    This is something that I'm finding difficult to put together in my mind, and hopefully I can get a few opinions from you guys.

     

    I practice all these 'weird' things that many people out there don’t understand. When someone asks you 'what's your hobby?' - do you tell them you practice Taoist Internal Alchemy? And if they say 'what's that?' what do you answer?

     

    Does practicing this stuff alienate you from others that don’t? How do you cope with this?

     

    Also sometimes you may know that someone would really benefit from a practice, but they're completely closed to it, what can you do? I know that if you push 'em usually they'll close up to it even more but if you don’t then they stay the way they are without any improvement. If you manage to convince them to 'give it a try' they might do it once or twice, with no benefit and go back to the way they were without ever experiencing the benefits. What can you do?

    One typically expects someone who is enlightened to exhibit characteristics that they believe to be enlightened behavior.  What are these behaviors?

    Well I tend to think that someone who is enlightened is not necessarily 'moral' in the way most people tend to think about it. I think someone who is enlightened can smile and find anything funny.. they are the kind of people that affect their environment rather than be affected by the environment (I'm using the word in its broadest sense). Others who are around enlightened people tend to change and be confronted by their limiting beliefs - this is not necessarily a pleasant experience.

     

    There is a guy called Jerry Stocking, who may embody these qualities, judging by the audio tapes i have of his (called Illusion Conclusion)- although he never explicitly reveals this, i think he practices Taoist Alchemy along with many other techniques that he uses to help people ascend. http://www.achoiceexperience.org/ I think Winn participates in some of the workshops this guy does. I really want to do one of his courses - but I dont have the resources currently.
