    A few comments fwiw...

Visualization practice and daydreaming are closely related as both involve fixing the attention in imagery, one spontaneous and the other contrived at first, ultimately becoming spontaneous. As we sharpen our familiarity and degree of focus in generating a mental image, it is no surprise that dreaming (day and/or night) may become more vivid and more pronounced. Headaches, as mentioned, are likely a sign of too much tension and effort.

In the Bön paradigm, violence in our dreams suggests activation of (or fixation on) the throat chakra which is related to the asura (demi-god) realm. Characteristics of this realm include a tendency toward endless violence related to pride, wrath, a sense of lack or need, and related emotions. Our day (and night) dreams reflect whatever is affecting us in life at any given moment. This includes suppressed and repressed psychological content, memories and so on, but also whatever we are exposed to in our day to day. Are we watching or reading news (violence), are we playing video games (violence), practicing martial arts (violence), watching films and series (so much violence)? Is there repressed/suppressed violence in our past or that of our loved ones and ancestors? It's certainly present in our societies - we are immersed in and pervaded by violence if we are not cautious consumers and this will undoubtedly be reflected in our dream life.

What to do? If working with deity visualization, deity yoga, mantra and so forth, I think it's very important to have some expert guidance. This includes transmission and permission to practice. In Bön and Buddhism there is a practice called the Six Lokas practice. This is a way to purify and transform negative emotions and interrupt dysfunctional patterns related to being stuck in one of the six samsaric realms through visualization and mantra. Dream Yoga is another wonderful practice for addressing when we are stuck in samsaric patterns and experiences. These are just two examples, not intended to be personalized recommendations. My own practice focuses much more on a dzogchen approach at this point. I think it's important for each of us to find what fits and works well for us. Finally, doing whatever we can to address the psychological variable and our relationship to external stimuli are critical pieces of the spiritual puzzle.

    Thank you very much 🙏

Neidan is a made-up western word which means  1) the teaching of  alchemy, 2) the practice of  alchemy 3)  the product of  alchemy  (the  elixir).

These are 3 different things yet the westerners  lump  all 3 of them into one fake term

The westerners made up this  fake  term in order to delude themselves that they can  A) understand  the alchemy, B ) practice  the alchemy C) teach the alchemy - without ever D) producing the elixir.

    To answer your question:

NO. For normal people, with or without a teacher, it is not possible.

YES . For a particularly gifted, 1-in-a-billion person, it is possible .

This exceptional book explains " LDT meditation technique" for  virtue, health, power and wisdom in complete detail.

Who could  get these results from this book will be able to advance to neidan.

Thanks for the book and and for providing LDT meditation technique 🙏

  3. Hi everyone, i am a strong believer of master and Disciple relationship. Not only neidan even to learn normal things like l car driving, drawing, swimming etc you need teacher guidence. But @Taoist Texts says we don't need a teacher to learn neidan.

So my question to Taoist texts.

" Is it possible to learn neidan without a teacher" if yes tell the LDT meditation technique.

    Another one, self-taught.

Daydreaming is not a practice. From your description you lack mental control and uncontrolled thoughts can come from mental parasites.

Visualization training can be approached after pre-requisites are met, you did not clear those first.

    Thanks. Your correct

Forums are not a good place to gain understanding for something like this. The only way you would be able to go in depth and understand why you see what you see is to find a psychotherapist close to your residence and work with them.

Yes i am also planning visiting psychologist

This is how you become free from rebirth obviously. As if there is some other mechanism you know about. I cited my source, you are saying Liu Huayang is wrong. Can't be as toxic as you want without tripping over yourself.

You think if you be a good boy for your whole life your daddy in the sky will let you ascend when you die, "Just trust me until you die, what do you have to lose?". And you think my method is nonsense 😂 So every creature on the planet is evil and wasn't allowed to ascend, alright 😂 What a half-assed incohesive sense of spirituality. It's almost disrespectful to the concept of spirituality.

Lol 🤣 are you a teenager?

cessation of suffering". This actually was probably the same as the ending of leakage

Lol. I completely disagree with your interpretation. Cessation of suffering means free from birth and rebirth which means person becomes a arhat. Anugamin ( non - returner) almost reached cessation of suffering this person will become arhat in Buddha's pure land

@Yae You joined the forum in 2013, so we assume you started practicing cultivation around that time or a year later. As you said, at least nine years have passed.

It is sufficient time to achieve something, some inner qualities, some practical abilities, some positive results. Even if there is zero talent and very little practice per day, at least mental stability, peace of mind, and more vital energy in the body can be gained.

Somehow, after ten years, you come here posting dubious methods based on public books and planning to start cultivation from the beginning. Meanwhile, acting irritated and fuming, raging at everyone passing by.

We prefer to look at the results from training rather than empty words. Could you kindly remind us of your teacher's name and the school you attended for nine years?

We are not interested in methods of achieving impotency. I have no interest in "internal alchemy" or "daoist" cultivation. It is amusing that you believe everyone seeks the same thing as you do.

A tiny bit of "neigong" I practice has significantly boosted my vitality, body energy levels, well-being, and potency. Getting to a level of electric qi has positive therapeutic effects on the body. Similar results/effects are reported by other people who practice this stuff.

@Neirong you give a correct reply to this guy. I agree with you. Books are good for theory not for practice mainly with neigong. This is a  basic fact still @Yae can't digest this fact

Hello, I saw one post about this book somewhere but I wanted to lay out my current understanding of the methods because it seems freaking insane.

    1. Laying the Foundation

100 day retreat to awaken correct ideal postheaven qi flow followed by 15-30min daily to keep results. Method is 2h meditation 3x per day, one session on LDT, one on MDT, one on UDTThe 15-30 min upkeep is only on LDT. Literally just sitting and focusing on it, breathing into it to gather qi.

Umm I don't know if this stage is really even necessary because I feel like the second stage is already gathering Qi and opening channels and it's not like your Ren Mai and Du Mai are so blocked that you can't achieve basic energy movement...

    2. Essence to Qi

This is the 100 days of celibacy. The thing is, once it's complete, your genitals retract and you become basically sexless. The reason for celibacy is, the essence is an energy directly tied to the physical seed.

[There is also a female method I quoted in the first comment below]

The (male) method is, when yang moves (you get an erection), "steal" it (as the Huimingjing says), or "capture the vermillion crow in the net as it tries to fly away" as the Cantong Qi says. Then you use martial fire and intention to put it in the ldt cauldron (The Cantong Qi is quite descriptive noting how the crow is being boiled alive in the cauldron). Then you circulate the microcosmic orbit, inhale up the back channel, exhale down, 360 times, along with intention, to heat the essence and transmute it to qi. Actually the book doesn't say 1 inhale up 1 exhale down, it says you circulate it gradually each time with multiple breaths up and down, pushing the energy. I have just been cross referencing different texts and trying to understand it. It also says the fire (breath) should be "martial" at the beginning and end (starting from near the perineum and up the back, and ending at the top of the head), and "civil"/gentle in the middle (while traversing the spine).

Special note. You are not working with the actual sexual fluids. When you get an erection, the kidneys release yuan jing that leaves along with the sexual fluid, going to the supposed baby being made. This is what you are "stealing" to transmute it into yuanqi and fill the body with it over 100 days.

You do this for 100 days while celibate to establish a strong great ingredient or whatever. Once it's complete, there is a bright flash of light somewhere in your upper body as the qi unites with a small amount of spirit in the LDT to create the great ingredient or whatever, so you know you succeeded.

This is when your genitals retract and you have basically "ended the leakage".

Honestly, according to the book that seems to be the most difficult part technicality wise. Because as the book says, the body has an internal mechanism for internal alchemy so the rest of the way I think you are basically just fueling the fire to nurture the yang fetus and blocking a couple holes and riding it out.

    3. The next stage is 10 months, you basically meditate on the ldt until the pill/yang fetus starts to migrate to your mdt or compass center? naturally. Then nourish it by breathing into the ldt cauldron I think for 10 months

    4. Then it goes to your upper dan tien and you keep nourishing it and eventually it is ready to break out (9 years total). It breaks out and you slowly take baby steps with it away from the body, but careful or it can get lost. Then eventually it is ready to completely detach from the head opening.

Not sure where the Bodhidharma evaporating into air thing fits in, and transmuting the body into yuanqi. Jesus and Buddha theoretically "casted off the husk" by dying physically while the completed yang spirit survived, Bodhidharma did the more ideal thing of transmuting the body too.

The book is for sale on Amazon, that's where I got it. It has many references to classic texts throughout

I suggest you stay away from this book. Because Rudi told me it's not an authentic book. He is neigong teacher so you should believe his words
