  1. The evil serpent Apep (Apopis) is trodden under the left foot in ancient Egypt. Vishnu and Krishna also do a lot of treading/dancing on snakes
  2. Home. Earth. The Pale Blue Dot.

Not a lot of chemists around here! Meanwhile Google tells us: You can have a fire without oxygen if you have some other oxidizer. Like fluorine, for example. Fluorine is a better oxidizer than oxygen, so fluorine fires are especially nasty. Fluorine will burn things you normally think of as unburnable, like sand. And asbestos.
  3. Which account came first. As I recall the Holy Bible was still being established in the time of King James. Various books were being included and excluded and re-translated even edited. Anatoly Fomenko (a celebrated Russian mathematician) claims to have proved statistically that the Old Testament was written after the New Testament. He has written 7 volumes entitled "History - Fiction or Science?" They are real eye-openers and confirm Henry Ford's famous statement: History is bunk! Who could have imagined that history was written by the victors?
  4. What controls the Chi

By some accounts Beingness wishes to have experience and therefore generates Existence for a period. The end of that period is the Mahapralaya Later Beingness forms a new Existence for a period
  5. The nature of enlightenment is that the Light flows easily into the human. The three stages that are still called human are: - control of the higher mental body so that the soul (solar/guardian angel) is no longer required as an intermediary with the spirit entity that is the real human - control of the heart energy body so that cosmic relationships can become functional - control of the atmic/will body so that cosmic thought can become functional A Treatise on Cosmic Fire is worth reading every few years https://www.theosophy.world/sites/default/files/ebooks/alice-a-bailey-a-treatise-on-cosmic-fire.pdf More recently there is Occult Cosmology https://issuu.com/maxvietri/docs/occult-cosmology
  6. I seem to recall a European version of St George where he put a ring through the nose of the dragon and led it through the market place. That could be interpreted as the spiritual part of the human (George) taming the "dweller on the threshold" (personal will) so that the personality becomes useful in interactions with humans (in the marketplace)
  7. Home. Earth. The Pale Blue Dot.

Apparently planets bearing life forms, such as humans, are quite rare. Maybe we should look after this one
  8. What controls the Chi

That seems a closed loop of causation. But causation is how and not why Why is space curved?
  9. What controls the Chi

    Why is space curved?
  10. By one account the requirements in this solar system for inner initiation (including first stage enlightenment) are set by our brethren from Sirius. If so, the requirements may be varied for particular individuals.
  11. What experiments might one make?
  12. Perhaps there is also astral karma, mental karma, buddhic karma, atmic karma etc Does the Mother Earth experience karma?
  13. My own experience is similar to the Tzimtzum. There is an outbreath from the Source that becomes darker and separated - as a vehicle for the Source to experience. At the same time there is an inbreath towards light and unity. During Existence both breaths occur in parallel with human partaking of each in order to maintain balance. In that context the human taking too much dark outbreath may be seen as improper/evil and taking too much inbreath light may also be seen as improper. For example, the human that gives too much without taking time to rebuild will often burn out - and thereby not achieve its design functionality. Is that more common in women?
  14. "moral (adj.) ..... directly from Latin moralis "proper behavior of a person in society," literally "pertaining to manners," Thus morality is the acceptable customs of that society Karma however occurs when entities cause discomfort for the Entity that uses a solar system, galaxy or universe as its body of incarnation. It may also be that causing comfort to such an Entity generates positive karma
  15. just a question

Nicola Tesla thought lightning rods were useless. I have often seen horizontal lightning when the theory is that they should go to the Earth surface. There must be a better theory
  16. Meditation

On every plane and subplane it is possible to develop the complete set of senses. Development requires practice using the substance/energy of the target level of consciousness. The energy is accumulated and then sense organs formed from that energy substance by continued practice. In most humans the sense of touch is developed first - feeling the presence and nature of energies. Inner seeing and hearing generally take longer. Senses of smell and taste can be developed. Smell may be particularly useful in testing the quality of visiting spirits
  17. I suspect that the Wandjina are still residing within various hills including one not far from me. It seems to me that the Wandjina continue to instruct the Indigenous "clever men" A woman I know says she occasionally sees Wandjina (as tall white beings) walking over the hill behind her house - backing on to a volcanic plug
  18. Einstein is not regarded as untruthful - except perhaps where military science is concerned. Given his enormous prestige for almost a century I take his statement at face value
  19. The history of scientific discovery includes quite a bit of inner experience Consider how Kekule discovered cyclical hydrocarbons
  20. Quite so. Einstein was 16 at the time of the experience
  21. The only external source is a 16 year old boy who recorded the event a decade later. Still, the past usually remains as an energy field that can be located and observed. Have a go.
  22. Slide back along this 3D timeline and observe Einstein undertaking that experiment for yourself
  23. Einstein derived his theory of relativity from what he saw. You may think it was imagination but it produced a remarkable if flawed theory. Thought experiments are particularly important in development of quantum mechanics - and of spiritual science. There are however preconditions including: - the human lightbody is relatively free from programmed beliefs and skilled to make unbiassed observations - the human is functional on the plane/subplane appropriate for the experiment - the inner plane energy beings permit the human experiment. If the experimenter has access to competent human observers, there can be peer review. This is important as observers see from different perspectives than the experimenter in the center of the flows
  24. Einstein told us that his experience of moving down a sunbeam generated his theory of relativity. What senses extend inside a sunbeam?
