At the risk of offending: - How is it that the spiritual practices commonly used do not unveil the cosmic layers of what humans call Self? Time to move on?
-
Does that assume that a human consciousness has identified all possibilities? I suspect there are many timelines, universes and species that human consciousness has yet to discover.
-
How do we know that God created the universe Perhaps The Source of All delegated some functions And what are the objectives of The Source of All? Perhaps there are stages

A woman was very pleased with a text from her ex. She showed me and said: He has moved past transactional relationship Perhaps the gods of humanity are less evolved than that man. I would look for entities that are not transactional. In the ancient Egyptian and Kabbalistic systems the human format has 5 souls. The middle soul corresponds with the Christian soul. But the soul intelligence that approaches suitable humans has a temporary relationship with them - while the human establishes the stages of enlightenment. The solar angel (holy guardian angel) comes from the solar system to help. It is too profound to partake in transactional relationships.

That alien quote is from a conference in 1948 at a US airbase Earth humans have unusual beliefs

Sensitivity to mudras depends on refinement of the etheric body I always used to meditate with my left hand held inside the right. Recently however I spontaneously used the Egyptian god mode of hands flat on each thigh. It seems that when I am meditating internally to my light-body the original mode is proper. When I meditate in the cosmos, my hands naturally sit on my thighs

Or perhaps The Source of All derives value from experiencing (observing?) a wide range of intelligent activities within manifested Existence For whatever it is worth: various alien sources have said that Earth is the only planet with the concept of God. On what are Earthlings missing out? Who cares. God is a nice simple construct and I like it

The key issue seems to be the quality and intent of the intelligence operating the particular vortex. Be careful about with whom you shake hands
-
There are secondary chakras (vortices) in the palms of the hands. These are operated by nature spirits (lesser devas). Nature spirits embedded in the human light-body can be captured/replaced by dark entities

The inner senses on the various planes and sub-planes develop progressively, stimulated by activity on those planes. Most humans develop inner touch before inner seeing. There are many more senses than five. E.g. a sense of time. Sometimes another entity, such as a more developed human, may temporarily share its light body with a human so that inner senses are temporarily heightened. Thus: meditate with a friend who does have astral sight. The astral world however is related to the element water. Thus the astral plane often shows inverted reflections. The higher sub-planes of the mental plane are better suited for dealing with Reality https://www.hinduwebsite.com/senses.asp

The human perspective of good and evil may not be the same as cosmic perspectives. Hard times can trigger changes in consciousness

What is meant by Emptiness?? Especially in meditation??
Lairg replied to Tommy's topic in Buddhist Textual Studies
Emptiness in meditation is a transitional stage. Initially there are many thoughts and emotions. Depending on efficiency of technique and refinement of the personality, there are increasing gaps in the thinking/feeling. These gaps in consciousness can result in time appearing to pass very quickly The gaps, depending upon technique, may contain higher awareness that is not recorded in the brain. Later in the refinement process, the initiate's brain provides some awareness of transcendental processes. Thus the emptiness phase is passed and the initiate learns to be consciously active beyond the planet -
No self means not being self-centered in actions and attitudes - as compared with the human being captured by its personality. As the human refines it becomes transparent to Light and thereby discovers higher layers that are the Self that serves the Oneness No self is experiential rather than factual

It seems to me that all parts of the human have at least two uses. For example the intelligence that operates the personality, at first stage enlightenment, transitions from defense to creativity. I recall long ago, TM meditators complaining that they were losing their personality. That may have felt a bit empty, but they were just losing the most obvious (obnoxious?) parts of their persona (mask) It may be that the apparent emptiness is soon filled by beneficial qualities previously obscured. Later the human initiate becomes active outside the planet as well as within the human race -
Until late in the 19th century many on sailing ships lost their teeth and then their lives through lack of Vit C The British navy used lime juice to deal with the problem while their merchant sailors continued to die. So a very recent evolution? I wonder why the animals did not evolve in the same way? Even today the human dietary intake in cities is typically a small percentage of what animals produce per kg of body weight. Who benefits from that?

Apparently only monkeys and humans do not make their own vitamin C. A human-sized animal would make about 10g a day. How could that be evolution? Blavatsky maintained that monkeys descended from earlier human species

For some weeks I have had a pain at the second joint of one thumb. Eventually I saw a female friend had an energy line into that thumb. When I sent her some love and removed the energy line, the pain went and has not returned. It is common that such energy connections weaken the anchoring part of the body. Similarly for your bladder meridian. The weakened part is susceptible to external factors such as cold

I suspect that in later stages the Shakti anchor moves from the heart to the base of the spine Thus there remains the question of whether the full range of Shakti can be anchored in the human heart. Perhaps the human spirit has more options/facets than are currently conceived As a side comment: many humans have conditions of the head or heart that make it difficult for the entry of profound energies. Consider the rapid increase of autism - up to 13% in some places. When I was young I never saw a child with any such symptoms

Just as the human personality has layers (physical. emotional, mental) the spiritual self also has layers - to be developed, matured and transcended

It rather depends on what "self" is intended to mean. For example there is a coordinating intelligence for every body of the human: physical, emotional, mental, heart/buddhic, atmic .... As the human learns to control any particular body, most of the operation of that body becomes subconscious e.g. balance while riding a bicycle, or a mother consoling a child while speaking to the father There then are intelligences that coordinate clusters of such plane bodies - e.g. what Christians call the soul, also known as HGA, Guardian Angel, and Neshamah They operate as subsidiary to the human spirit - called in some traditions: the Monad After third stage enlightenment the initiate begins to progress beyond humanness where there are yet more coordinating intelligences. Any of the above intelligences may appear as the Self at a particular stage. Who can test that proposition? http://jewishpath.org/wordpress/soul/5-levels-of-the-soul

The morning after my mother died in another country, my father rang to tell me. Immediately my mother was in the room too. The first thing she said was: It is just as you said - all about energy. It seems that she was in a group (mainly female) learning to manage the planetary meridians

Usually I step out of the physical and observe the event from the inner planes More technically: In the Hindu tradition are the Five Electricities Pancha Tattwa, the Root-Causes of creation, are the causal body. This spiritualized Atom, Chitta (the Heart), being the Repulsion manifested, produces five sorts of aura electricities .... These five electricities being the causes of all other creations are called Pancha Tattwa, the five Root-Causes, and are considered the causal body of Purusha, the Son of God, " https://archive.org/stream/HolyScience/45849064-Sri-Yukteswar-Giri-The-Holy-Science_djvu.txt Sometimes I have a dream and wonder if it is real. So I go back to the dream, standing outside it, and look for the 5 electricities. If they are not present then the dream is an artificial construct

Is there any proof of that statement? Perhaps I will move on

Perhaps as we move into the age of Aquarius it is time for new wine in new bottles. If so, we should see the progressive demise of many social structures and institutions. For example many young Chinese are abandoning the current social system: Tang ping (Chinese: 躺平; lit. 'lying flat') is a Chinese slang neologism that describes a personal rejection of societal pressures to overwork and over-achieve, such as in the 996 working hour system, which is often regarded as a rat race with ever diminishing returns.[1][2][3][4] Tang ping means choosing to "lie down flat and get over the beatings" by adopting a "low-desire life." The release of useful humans from old structures and the birth of a new wave of humanity will facilitate and drive the development of new structures - including new understandings of the inner nature of Earth humanity and propagation of more relevant spiritual practices Of course many humans prefer the familiar to the new. Such is life.

How do you test which practices are useful to which people? There are certainly dark currents in human society that seek to degrade/divert groups of humans but there are also beneficial currents that seek to refine Earth humanity - to achieve its design functionality. Negative thoughts and emotions are promoted so that humans unconsciously invite darkness.
