  1. SHIT! Hmm and I though I was twisted.
  2. Of course Tibetan Buddhism has absolutely nothing to do with sex!
  3. The polarisation of our true nature into male and female seems to have become extreme within the last ten/twenty years. It seems that the apparent gulf between people (male and female) is also fuelling the increase in vanity and greed. The confusion of the unfulfilled as they grasp at the fleeting in the hope that, one day, they will find something permanent to tether themselves to? Most of us here are probably aware of the wisdom of insecurity and non-attachement although I often wonder if the masses will ever figure it out? There is a whole esoteric teaching about the immortals and the transitionary beings which is subtle. Hmm is it ever right for a follower of the way to step in and effect or should we always let things take their natural course? I have often said in the past that I only get involved with things that are on my path meaning that I don't go out of my way to have an affect. Any thought on all this?
  4. Does god exist?

God and Gods? I think it's like the Tao! We can talk around it and even point at it but... Some mystics like to dwell on the idea that infinite beings are within each of us as well as without us. This is kind of a child like hippie dream which most of us will have remembered but have forgotten. So those that follow the Tao care for all things but not because, but just because. So what is beyond the boundless? Err the boundless! LOL What is small and what is big? Is the fool a great king?
  5. Is the Brain Really Necessary?

The brain is just an aspect of the physical manifestation of our fall into self-conciousness. Once self realised we return to pure conciousness which is the point where all things touch, or put another way, the nirvanic bliss of being which is non-being. And so the story goes on but hey there's no rush.
  6. New hello

I have a video of a master doing Tai Chi which I watch at least once a day as I lay on my couch. Honest! Actually I just walk up and down stairs all day long. Look forward to sharing insights.
  7. Taoist Meditation and Longevity Techniques

Listen to your body! Eat less and try to fast once a week or once a month even if only for a day. Walking is the best exercise especially in parks and forests. Try to learn a basic Tai Chi form even if you only practice on and off for the rest of your life. Do not follow the stereotypes of male and female and find your own simple beauty and harmony. You must learn to care for yourself before you can truly care for others. When you stumble forgive yourself and simply return to the way.
  8. Hey everyone

K is funny and annoying but I figure that he was just trying to get us to stop picking our nose! Now are you going to sit on the left or the right or have you got that one handed clap! LOL Good to see you here and have fun.
  9. Opening the Chakras

    This might be of interest:
  10. BEst way to build the yang energy in dantian

Hmm no expert on this as I don't do anything other than the odd bit of basic Tai Chi (once in a blue moon) but perhaps you should try semen retention! Of course after a week or so the Yang energy seems to become balanced with the Yin but even after a few days I become more aggressive and intense. I personally don't buy the whole Taoist semen retention thing but that's because I'm into other things which are not generally discussed in public.
  11. What are you listening to?

    Check this out: <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
  12. Why is there so much evil in the world?

There is no such thing as evil only ignorance and confusion. The way leads to simplicity and clarity. The whole idea of monasteries was to give a refuge for the enlightened as the confusion and chaos that ignorance brings to this world kinda grates on ones soul. Having said that we are reminded that we should move with the present so denial will only make the pain worse and it becomes the duty of the enlightened ones to follow the way and be seen thereby setting an example. This Monty Python sketch is funnier that most people realise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsb5W0m3S-Y I'm not sure if the insight in that sketch was anything to do with the minds of Monty Python but then again you never know! Anyway leave Master Po out of it. ;0)
