Would like to hear how others experience "Qi" ?
Patrick Brown replied to shontonga's topic in General Discussion
Electricity, sharp needle/s, a feeling of being made of iron, fire, flaming swords and daggers, a glowing and tingling, explosive stillness, heat, erotic. -
Anybody got the link to the free online AYP manuals? I'd just like to skim read them and add them to my knowledge base. Cheers, p

Hmm so you don't have the keys? Yes all things in moderation but nirvana is the eternal movement into greater ecstasy and learning the way brings insight. This is why Tibetan Buddhism states that any ejaculation before enlightenment will send you straight to hell. After enlightenment... As said above jing and chi are co-dependant.

Yes I've often factored hormones into the equation. Both testosterone and estrogen are produced by male and female. Of course the reason we differentiated from the androgynous Adam was because we all became unbalanced because of our desire. We are all yin yang's yet when in balance the apparent opposites vanish and there is just a circle with a sine wave.

David Verdesi's (David Shen's) Early Training

No we're not going to give anybody any money! All those practices, no matter how bizarre, exist in many semi-esoteric schools all around the world. I'm not saying they yield any insight but perhaps insight yields the practices? Anyway it depends on your spiritual motives and what you expect to find once you get to the top of the mountain. As for ancient teachers, well, who knows? Probably better to be remain sceptical but for those that have realised the truth of reincarnation... it's the form of communication that always brings the biggest doubts. I personally don't buy channelling although I can't rule out masters teaching through dreams or OBE's. -

David Verdesi's (David Shen's) Early Training

Well I've heard of urinology and I'm aware that certain schools of thought keep and store barrels of the stuff! Having said that I think people can go too far. As for all this shoving things up your butt or pussy with weights on, well I've heard about the pussy thing but not the a-hole thing. I doubt any of those teachings come from an enlightened mind. I mean if people want to shove things up their a-hole that fine but I don't see how the weights help. Yes I'm aware of all this muscle strengthening stuff to increase the intensity of orgasm but I think you need to keep it in perceptive. Reminds me of the stories of Tibetan monks lifting weights with their knob! -

I did take a picture of the rainbow and here it is:

Yes great post. I'm also the lonely, lazy type although I don't see my situation as completely negative. Yes I dislike the noise of the cars and the harshness of the concrete but I figure we have to change from within. My path is brutally obvious in that I know what work I need to do but the motivation is hard for me. Yesterday I saw a rainbow and this morning I saw a red fox in the back garden. When I asked the 'I Ching' years ago about my path it told me not to get my tail wet crossing the stream. Now twenty years later on I'm slowly extracting myself from the booze, returning to my tai chi and hoping to soon be walking around Oxfords parks and gardens daily. That's my life ambition and I'm not joking!
