This still doesn't make sense because you only need 3-5 of those lessons just to advance. The teacher is there to guide you. You don't need courses. you need guidance. If you mean that it is done for revenue purposes, i agree.

As a last piece of advice to complete beginners: Do not mistake sensations on the LDT as signs of progress! Sensations are normal when you move your yi to your LDT because Qi follows YI. So when qi goes to the LDT you will notice something happening but in itself this doesn't mean anything. This is normal and expected. I suspect that the real reason behind the masters of old keeping the milestones as school secrets, was that it is very easy to delude yourself once you know what signs to look for.

The problem is that the whole course is structured like that and that you can't access anything new until a week has passed. There are cases where he has split a qigong system in 3 parts and you get part 1 and 2 in two successive weeks and part 3, 7-8 weeks later! You get a lot of superfluous nonsense* just to keep you occupied and feel that the money you paid was worth it. Hint: The course isn't worth it. The course is designed to be a money sink. Good luck talking to Damo or his senior student by the way if you want to ask questions..... I also agree on your observation: his course is good only for beginners. It is a waste of time and money if you are intermediate or advanced (But hey if you are advanced you wouldn't be studying under Damo would you? Rather than somewhere in China or Taiwan?) *For example there is something called Ya Sheng Fa which has parts like preparing for the day, preparing for bed, etc which are separate lessons that are the teachings of the whole week!

Appealing to authority is one of the major logical fallacies that plague the internet. Ad Hominem is another fallacy. Instead of attacking the argument which you can't, you are attacking the person. When I look at Damo's course I see some good stuff mingled with a ton of sawdust. You literally need to dig through the chaff to get at the good stuff.

I will be frank. I don't believe they had it and i don't think Damo has it either. If he does have it he isn't doing Neidan for some reason. As I told you in the PM the guy describes fa qi perfectly but that does not necessarily mean that he doesn't cheat somehow as you suspect. Damo has the background to delude people into thinking they have the LDT formed. I respect your opinion but i have inside information on his course and know that it isn't good.

So to reiterate, what you saw on Damo's senior students was the physical structure? The one that is a prerequisite for neidan?

Why would I? Seriously why should i consider joining? The methods I use are not compatible with his teachings. And this isn't a "my neigong is better than yours" thread. I never said anything like this nor implied it. All i did is ask How many of his students already have an LDT. It seems that most of his die-hard fans know none. So the certainty that his teachings lead somewhere is puzzling. I am ok with it as long as they acknowledge that they are making a leap of faith based on the charisma of Damo and his theoretical background. As a person Damo is ok. At least that is what I get out of two videos of his that i have ever watched. He is definitely better than Chia, Clyman and other idiots who have not done any proper training. Still his methods are questionable. Freeform's undocumented case is the first time i have heard that he has students with an physical LDT. So naturally i am sceptical and talking to him or joining his group won't help solve this. Damo seems to have a lot of theoretical knowledge but less power and skill. PS. Do not ever make the mistake of not looking at a teacher's senior students! They are the people that he wants around him and the personalities that he is more inclined to like and this is reciprocal. So if you spot ANY character trait that you don't like, do a U-turn and never look back. This must happen for skill too. If you see any teacher of martial arts that doesn't have really skilled senior students then the system is about teacher worshipping or some other equally bad activity.

Anyway I have videos of the first guy to send you to judge for yourself. As for the possibilty of studying under him? I have considered it but I don't know if i can manage it. That is completely irrelevant to what i said. I mentioned that it isn't lost nor rare and that it has been discovered by completely independent people in the world who have nothing to do with the chinese internal arts. Faqi requires qi consolidation doesn't it? The case i mention isn't fake by the way.

You must have a reading comprehension problem. I will ask again. Do you know someone who has built the LDT with Damo's method? Yes or No? If yes, how many? well the thing is that i have met a non chinese teacher with no contact with the chinese traditions that he and his students can faqi. He is completely unaware of the LDT and doesn't use it. It is possible that there are at least two methods that enable faqi. This is only speculation, i haven't practiced his system. I think that the fact that you have no idea about whether the LDT is active in other people practicing the method speaks for itself. You are taking a leap of faith. Good luck.

That is not what i asked you. This is what i asked you: That is the question. This is present perfect tense. It means that people must have already built their dantien to qualify for your answer. So if i am reading correctly none of Damo's students have built the lower Dantien yet using his method. At least no one that you know of? PS. you are still using the "potent" word. Potent doing what? The ultimate purpose of neigong as Damo teaches it is to build the lower dantien. It either does or doesn't. Potency has nothing to do with it.

I am not WMP. Any claim from Damo that "x number of my students have done it" is sufficient for me regarding this conversation. How and when i will verify the claim is another matter altogether.

The problem appears to be your choice of words a few pages ago, where you described Damo's system as "powerful". This needs to be elaborated somehow and the burden of proof is always at the person making a statement. You need to describe what "powerful" means because the word you used, implies comparison. Powerful compared to what? I get that Xianggong's reaction isn't the best but you really need to elaborate. It doesn't mean that you have to talk about personal things but you need to say at least something along the lines " i have tried x qigong, y qigong and z neigong the last few years and this was more powerful in transforming/having better health.... " you get the idea. The most serious question i want to ask you is: How many of Damo's students have built the LDT? After all, he has Dan Tien Gong listed in the syllabus.
