  1. Wrong?

A herd of sheep is not really individual, they have a collective program although it is divided into bodies. Similarly when you see a teenager today he might have any amount of fashion on him looking very unique. But put 100 teenagers together and you realise they are all carrying out the same program. They are just part of a herd. Individuality means I AM I CHOOSE I REASON I THINK. These things are difficult to grow, especially on this planet. Mostly children are taught to follow a herd. Individuality needs to be cultivated like a cutting taken from a rose bush. Gently slowly carefully, then it will grow into itself. But it is easily destroyed in this world, hence Jesus's parable of the seed that lands on hard ground scorched by the sun, or a seed that has only shallow roots uprooted by the wind, or the seed that grows on land surrounded by weeds. The seed must find deep roots if it is to survive. Humans appear to be in a painful place, where they have just a touch of individual consciousness, just a sniff of it ... but it is rare for it to be actualized .... hence the great suffering of our human brethren.
  2. Wrong?

They do not know. Otherwise they would not do it. Perhaps you have noticed that you might lash out and actually hurt someone, but if you are honest then you can see that inside you were scared because of something from the past that was arising within you. Politics is total herd mentality, nobody really knows what they are doing. Plus the atmosphere of fear violence causes micro-traumas in people every time they watch the TV which causes them to internally fragment. When they fragment they lose any sense of individual consciousness and become total slaves to the herd mentality that descends quickly to the level of the beast.
  3. Wrong?

That is a subconscious collective process. Not the conscious individual process I am talking about. Humans are just waking up, moving from the first to the second.
  4. Buddha Did Not Know

Well Chapter 3 is Parables where he talks of the humans as people who suffer misery and live in a burning house : they do not comprehend their suffering nor the danger of remaining here. Chapter 16 is about the lifespan of the Tathagatta who is "beyond time and space".
  5. Buddha Did Not Know

If the Tathagatta has through his effort acquired wisdom and Buddha nature, and other beings have not and suffer, what this means is simply he is an eternal (limitless in time and space) being in other words immortal He is fully functional and has his own knowledge. His knowledge is knowledge it is not "clarity". He experiences his real being and it is alive and eternal, it is not "empty". He is individual self-ware and has personal intelligence different from other beings. Words like Emptiness and Clarity, come from the miserable beings who wish to piss on ideas of salvation because they live in misery and see no way out, they feel angry and hopeless.
  6. Buddha Did Not Know

No, if you love to see ... then you would go and see. You don't love to see. You are like the children playing in the burning house that Buddha talks of in the Lotus Sutra, you have such a great time you don't comprehend your own suffering. He even says that they only way to get through to someone who loves their misery so much is through manipulation and force.
  7. Ayn Rand : Life with Fire in the Belly

The only thing I can add to what she says is the virtue and intelligence of exploration, even into mystical practices. Well why not ? Does it really make sense to spend 100 years not trying something out. Very soon you will see that practices from spiritual traditions open up new fields of existence. But probably she was glorying in her true self, her joy of her own consciousness, that she was very satisfied with her own good work. Perhaps in a future life she will explore further afield. A joy to watch someone who lives joyfully and meets all challenges with an abundant spirit.
  8. Buddha Did Not Know

Just happen to be reading the Lotus Sutra yesterday and his response was not silence, at least not at the end of his life. He says point blank that the Tathagatta is an eternal being (immortal) individual, and that humans do not realise the danger they are in, if they don't realise they lose the opportunity. Which is exactly what Jesus said : "Wide is the gate that leads to destruction and many find it, Narrow is the gate that leads to life". q..e.d However on the subject of "how" he still didn't know, or at least wasn't clear. If you really understand that eternal individual life is possible you will not waste your time doing things that don't work.
  9. I had previously been at the Haa Yoga Centre in Sweden (Satyananda Tradition), which is a very good place. They had the equipment to do this mirror work (they do it also with a small candle in front that you concentrate on), with the lights off. When I got back I just bought a mirror and sat in meditation in front of it. What are the results ? Well .... why don't you just do it ? A mirror isn't expensive. You begin to know yourself, your soul, it is very profound. Who is looking, who am I ? Can I see myself, can I feel myself. Am I looking or being looked at. In the end there is calm of self-meeting.

    (A) A creature who is sub-conscious does not have much freewill, and so flows easily with the Tao. (B) A creature who is attempting moving into consciousness faces a very painful and difficult journey, like trying to pull himself out of the primordial slime, he pushes this way and that, experiments with this or that, makes a hell of a mess, often he pulls directly against the natural flow of the Tao to create some elbow room to pull himself out. From a higher vantage point, we might conjecture that creature (B) is also part of a flow of the Tao, 1/3 of creatures following life, 1/3 dead, 1/3 just moving from life to death. However it is just a conjecture. But from his own perspective he must fight and push and struggle upwards, otherwise he will sink back into (A) and the opportunity to become conscious is lost permanently. (C) A conscious creature has a stable identity beyond the Earth realm, and might choose any direction of activity on Earth. He might flow with the Tao and drift easily, or he might try to save the world and disturb a lot of people. The disturbance, the waves propagated into a stable society, creates opportunities for people to become conscious. Such a creature might be said to be following Tao at a level beyond the Earth realm. Another thing is that people (sheep) often say "calm down, don't disturb things, don't disturb the Tao". But it is fake. It is not the peace of Tao all.
  13. Wrong?

Yes a funny picture speaks a thousands words. In a Primary School, of course the goal is to teach the children, but the school is a real life place. Accidents happen, sometimes there are bad teachers or bad currriculum, sometimes there is external pressure from the PTA or the Government. But the course is steered through all this. Real life is like this. Everyone in the picture is learning growing, struggling to live. Life gets round to its justice when it can. And there are many actors at many levels of consciousness, who knows who will come to help you if you are of interest. Why would somebody help you ? If a hundred people ask you for help, who will you help ? There are no permanent rules but there are directions. For instance "help only those who are not idle". But on a given day you might help anyone. What is meant by "Duality" ? It's probably good to consider the what you really feel or mean here ? Well, in you have a wonderful night of making love with your woman, you become one, you really lose track of who is doing the pushing and who the pulling, right. And in the morning you are separate again .... but you have a sort of closer connection. Then in the morning you choose again what you will do. Expanding and contracting, it yields knowledge, learning, growing. But if you step back you can say we are One and always One. Great, but still today is the field that is open to us .... what shall we do ? If you lose connection to the One, then you start to lose energy degenerate and fall into the slime, it hurts > that's where mankind seems to be. So reconnect with the One, through the many traditions > but how many people actually do what is asked of them by the traditions ? In meditation and out, you can experience Oneness or awakening or embody pure consciousness .... you are united with the source/god/whole in some way. But are you God ? No. Does it feel good, Yes. Are you home, Yes. Are you grateful, Yes. Life exists through countless beings, they explore, they .... try to understand themselves, and the whole. They ... invent what they are doing - they can do anything to express their lives, sing dance meditate war. But for humans the problems seem to be : - they have lost all contact with the source - they are fragmented inside, more like 25 shards are in one person, all fighting each other - they have proto-consciousness which needs to mature or will cause big trouble - they live in a society of similar nutballs - the weather can be very bad in England But on the other hand consider being born as a cockroach. Now complain. And were would we be without Beyonce's ass ? So there is opportunity. Small concrete steps with serious teachers.
  14. Wrong?

Hmm ... nope, that's not right. For life to exist, it has to be non-deterministic. There must be room to manoeuvre, room to take action. There is "duality", but frankly human apes have such slimey reasoning that this word is immediately becomes an argument orgasm !!! If there was only a nondual whole, then it would be a nonmoving dot. The fact that I open my eyes and see the sky and the birds, means something is happening, hence it is "dual" .... in fact these words dual/ non-dual are just the slimey human mind looking for an argument orgasm. Fortune favours the brave. Existence opens lees in the ice, will you accept or reject. It is a constant adventure / test / challenge. That is life, life is hazard. Low creatures would perish in this environment so they are given support, hence all the programming animals and humans have, but humans, some of them, are emerging from that programming to come into their own being. It is just like at primary school : you are helped, and helped a lot, but .... so that you one day spread your wings. Do you have free will ? ... the question is can you acquire free will, and how. Would you actually like to use the free will you have now, and take a risk. Many human apes refuse to use any of the resources and possibilities they have. Laozi talks about "The Ruler" ... it helps us to understand things to talk like this. But in reality there is never one ruler, things are never black and white, it is a vast connected system of beings and forces. But; when an observation is made, we make it through identifying something specific ... "The Ruler" does this or that. Then our intelligence takes one step forward. Jesus would says "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, body, soul, mind". And people around him start shaking their Rosaries and getting on their knees raising hands to the sky, praying, and hitting Bibles on their heads. Jesus, rolls his eyes again. Laozi, writes poetry of the world he knows. People read and repeat like parrots, they want to follow the "instructions". Laozi rolls his eyes again, and walks out of the city, leaving his writings with the guard at the gatepost.
  15. Wrong?

You are already dead, the only question is whether you will every live. Move quickly and bring this intermediary space to an end. Then you will be wuwei. Everything else is just the imagination of those who don't sense danger.
  16. Wrong?

Mankind is on on the cusp of individuality, and oscillates between different modes on the spectrum of collective <> individuality. When collective he is more at the mercy of cosmic forces like the alignments of the planets, when more individual then will becomes more expressed but because he is a beginner he makes many mistakes. All this seems to be a phase of required learning. There are many casualties and this place is not comfortable. How to master this terrain, how to take this journey of awakening in the best way ? - Quickly - - Very Quickly -
  17. Wrong?

    Everything has structure and order.
  18. For anyone in the "socialism bad" chanting group

I am not sure what you men here, you feel suffering and then .... that makes it okay ? Not sure what you mean. If we are nondual souls, why did Buddha (and everyone else) teach laboriously over many years, why not just click the fingers ?
  19. For anyone in the "socialism bad" chanting group

Doesn't happen. FDA is full of corporate interests, and people's minds are twisted by professional psychological corporate culture. See Manufacturing Consent, by Noam Chomsky. Corporations are particularly evil as they are non-living persons, with only a ruthless one-dimensional non-living "spirit". They will certainly result in the destruction of our species. Humans are extremely unconscious timid and sheeplike, it's not a great place to deploy grand ideas. Society tends to unfold in cycles (like the yugas). Words like "free market" and "growth" .... this is a subtle mind control. The strongly polarised cycles of society, along with the general atmosphere of sh**, simply reflects the nature and purpose of this dimension of existence. To want something better is to leave, if you stay and play here then it's the right place for you. There needs to be an intermediary world of creatures swimming in the slime .... somewhere in the universe. And if you have arrived here you should realise what that means and get the mirror out.
  20. Wrong?

If you copy what he says, isn't that just fake and manipulation ? He had a arrived at being absorbed in existence, and described what he saw; but if you copy what he saw and understood you will not enter absorption, it will be "as if".
  21. Wrong?

Why do you think it is a doctrine ?
  22. FaJin : Is it a myth : MMA ?

Perhaps somebody knows an MMA fighter who is using FaJin ? I have never seen. I am sure they would use it if it was useful ? No ?
  23. For anyone in the "socialism bad" chanting group

People argue about things .... but they are not the things that are at the root. What is at the root ? What is my field of opportunity ?
