I was just thinking that actually, and in relation to many things that are discussed on this forum; the only real thing is to communicate with life directly, develop a direct direct relationship, communicate and be instructed, be lead, follow, co-operate with life itself directly. Everything else is intermediaries, books practices and so on. Surrender is really developing relationship where you know your place. Must be begun sooner or later, all that went before means not so very much.

KWML : used to have that book not find it useful, need action plan not archetypes and pretty drawings. Not sure what the Way of Men book is about, not read it, yes looks a bit violent, but then who knows. One chapter title is "The Bonobo Masturbation Society". Hmm, good point. So are you saying you are well adjusted then ? Good for you. Personally what is speaking to me is Awakening and Surrender into deathlessness (secretly I was always very competitive), being lead by life, lobotomising the feminising view of society and life, taking opportunities, learning what can be learnt, working on weaknesses. These are practical things. It's not a pretty world, grab what you can and leave. Make it snappy before more shit happens. Sounds good to me.

I have only heard about this a little, people have said you can shift yourself into a different and more cheerful universe where the Toblerones have not been shrinking ... and I was wondering if anyone has experimented with this or has anything to add ?

That's fine, but given the emotional levels on certain issues .... members themselves would be able to divert themselves into the basin; and the serious threads marked as such ... and members can be advised to put their hot views in the basin prepared for them. This is in line with the Tao and practical. Then everyone gets what they need. For those unable to comply then your proposed actions would be understandable. It's also about helping people with their disturbing minds, if they can vomit on a forum then they can get some room, and see what's inside them. Many freaked out people in this society, so possibly that could be of service. Who knows might even work.

It's a beautiful thing when you interact with the high and low, without distinction ... in each circumstance you seek only to be a conduit and make the river flow ... when with the lowest basest most confused and violent and be the conduit, with the ladybirds and the elm trees, with the rain, and brooding clouds, with the confused and agenda-ridden, yet hold the centre, inside your well is clean and deepening, surrendering, aligned with, springing forth. What a fortune it is for someone on the ordinary course of life with no interest in spirituality to encounter a bridge-without-distinction, then there is only the growth of the true universe with the husk of the old, and willingness and trust. Then one can walk on the main road, if he has even a little sense. One must know one's limits, and refresh the well, privately at night one can do many things in those hours ... and in the morning not tell a soul. Then one can be trusted, and one can trust.

Evil is bad faith, I think that's a definition. But even those who experience bad faith often come out of it. People live in many illusions formed by the mind and it's need to make hard concepts .... which it does because it does not understand what it is > so one answer is to awaken the mind. Alright, it's a great and timely story ... who's got some answers. Compassion For All Beings There is something very smelly about this idea, that's for sure. After all what business is it for anyone to compassionate all beings - buzz off !!! Non-interference, non-patronising. So don't be so smelly, I think is the message. If you find yourself fighting with others, struggling with yourself and so on ... in what way would you like to help them be spiritual ? Especially if you don't believe there is such a thing. What do you wish to help them with ? What have you mastered in your own life ? There are always opportunities, but you have to know what you can do, and then do it.

How am I too follow the instructions suggested to me during meditation without thinking? You cannot, so think on the instructions, convert the thinking to subtle inner work, then discard the thought and remain internal. From time to time you might check where you are using thought, then once again discard all conceptual material. For example, observing the nature of thoughts, pondering, "Where do they come from?Where do they go?" This is not a great practice. Next stare at your foot and ask yourself where it comes from, after that check into sanatorium. If you wish to do this kind of practice .... better to just do Samatha breathing at the nostrils, don't stare at things like zombie it just makes you blank-brain Buddhist useless for anything except staring. Also, once Im, "In the zone," as I like to call it,I still have these vague thoughts which are just observations of what is happening. And then ? Don't worry. All thoughts of past or future melt away, except for the occasional thought of how I can try to describe the experience to someone else, but I'm working on that. Is this okay and a natural part of progression? That is fine, but when in meditation focus on good meditation, therefore discard this stuff and return to being inside. Later you won't remember anyway.

It is good to use one's intelligence try to understand the meaning behind words. Then you might discover that your views are identical, and the need for conflict vanishes.

I find Ayn Rand absolutely convincing in every way ... for the application of her ideas to one's life, perhaps not to society as a whole. Selflessness as it is commonly understood is just a lie that leads to everyone lying about what they want, and fake world, it is degeneration into the false self. One must before anything honour one's one personal happiness and consciousness.

It was 3 years ago when just after Christmas, I called an ambulance in the middle of the night, crunched up in pain, feeling my body fall apart. I was surprised that I just reverted to crying helplessly for my mother. Anyway, it turned out I wasn't so ill. Probably due to my endless wrath, I will meet a painful and protracted end, my organs falling apart, bodily fluids leaking out, worried doctors injecting and cutting open, fear terror sadness, the strip lights of a hospital ceiling. My God what a mess we are in, and I'm just so goddam sorry about everything. Well I am in pretty damn good health these days, but I feel that it is prudent to practice dying, so that when the end comes then I will be able to let the body-stream slide away and not resist so much, and for that I have got hold of two very nice guided meditations that I can share with you, if you would like to likewise have a looksee. I have found it easier to sit on a low seat on the floor, bit like the Kunlun Hozn Taiwan group, sitting on the edge of a seat with ankles raised seems super unstable for me.

No shit, I knew that last week about N.Ireland, doesn't anyone read anything ! Anyway, in Swiss they certainly don't check every lorry or anything, mostly it's all open and they use "intelligence" to locate particularly dodgy sounding arrivals or companies, from time to time. In the same way "trade agreements" are not what they seem ... because you can trade with who you like according to currency + duty + transport. So what's left ? 1. The appearance of the rule of law and talking tough and pretending you have borders to not frighten the old. 2. Confdence, advertising your country, making big noise on TV to sort of attract people to your country, about how connected and open you are. Anyway, I always got the impression that the EU's toaster wattage business ... what that is is a smokescreen to disguise what they actually do. Just like the MEPs who can't do anything. More smokescreens. You think it takes 50,000 people to make toaster wattages ? What do they do ? They are simply told by the corporate lobbyists in Brussels which laws to make and then they make them. It's corporate plundering by removing the traditional national barriers of the 28 countries, far as I can tell.

Not long ago man had to be a bloody thirsty m**** f*****ing killer in order to survive. Now we are trying to evolve again using our crude viscious hunting cunning minds, into the dimension of consciousness in order to bring this sh** back home, in permanence. Great story.
