It is all cause and effect as I suspect you are soon going to learn.

It requires dedication and practice. On a side note, it could ruin your health in the long term and diminish your lifespan.
Still interested?
Outstanding post. If there is someone talking about certain powers and you can get pictures of them in the present and five to ten years ago and they seem to be aging very rapidly-- that is a huge red flag. Also, if there is a teacher that is living a long life but, most of his/her students are dying young, committing suicide or aging very rapidly after about 45+ years old-- also a huge red flag. Also, I have occasionally ran across the phenomena where "sages" die, and his/her students start aging much more rapidly than normal over the next ten years. If more student wannabes did more due diligence in this type of discovery, there would be a lot less grief for them in the future.

Yes, many times.

Like Grandmaster Tchough Ta Tchen, one of my teachers, said: "Even the top tai chi masters of today are like hollow shells compared to those of the past." You know, the ones that prance around in their tai chi costumes and tai chi shoes and have tai chi certificates. Here's a Video of another of my teachers demonstrating some real tai chi which he learned from Tchoung and from my chi kung teacher.
The Great Dave Harris doing one of his many demonstrations at the Phinney Ridge Community Center.

I do my Tai Chi (when I do it) by myself. I know of no one in my immediate area who practices tai chi. And besides, I do two-sword tai chi and I think it would be a bad idea for me to actually have an opponent. Remember, I killed a lamp shade once while practicing in the house.

Hey, I always have time for one more cup of coffee (Bob Dylan song).
And I'm sure you know I enjoy having fun. And yes, I used to go the movie houses when I was much younger and I guess I was a magnet for discarded bubble gum.
We are Taoists and words have never been good enough. I have enjoyed your grace and kindness here. Have you ever done partner sets in Tai Chi?

Good try though.
It was a joke. But, still as valid as anything you have or could use as a rebuttal. Scientific inductive reasoning is useless in these matters and philosophical deductive reasoning almost always fails in the actual application of the masses of humanity over time.
But, if you have the time for another coffee and more discussion, it can be fun. You don't have to imagine, I am sure that in your long life you have been to movie houses that have stuck to your shoe.

Yes, but our programmers had not led us to those concepts yet. They were still arguing about it in one of the many inter-dimensional college coffee houses.
