Don't think it implies an after life as in the concept of reincarnation. Consider that the Bible speaks of several deaths and several births in one lifetime.

What is the healthiest way to sleep, and for how long?

I just think there must be a very good reason why we adopt some postures instinctively- think of childs pose for example- but nothing like trying yourself. It may work well if you're 14it may not work so well if you're 41 : ) Thanks for the links -
You don't understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am (...) Terry, On The Waterfront

Yeah, tapping the body really puts energy moving and wakes you up. Better not to do it at night if you want to have a good night sleep.

First of all, thank you Arkx6 for starting the thread. I was hoping for interesting discussions for this weekend Some very interesting points are being discussed here which gives me food for thought. Cheshire Cat, your participation reminded me of a thread where you shared your disappointment with qigong... I sincerely thank you for having the courage to let us know about your True thoughts and feelings and wonder about that corner in you still full of that stubborn hope...

I thanked both posts...

The Hidden Treasure... Well, there's one in the archives of The Dao Bums! Why do I state the obvious? Maybe sometimes I get fed up with people missing some inactive members so much... Don't I miss for example, Taomeow sometimes? Well, when I do I go back and read Taomeow. I still don't get bored of reading her interview or think that I fully understood the ideas shared in it. Well, the treasure is there for the hack... Forgive me for my arrogance in reminding you of this. And... Don't mind if once in a while I take home a couple of emeralds in my pocket!

Or not... when 70% of the town's population is doing exactly that this Saturday night, I'm sort of proud of myself for staying home.

Working on it (meanwhile I'm moving to the south of England near the salty sea). If things don't get better here, hopefully I'll manage to move to vikingland still this year. Thanks for the push rene

And believe me, right now I wouldn't mind changing my life for the life of a jellyfish!
