The open borders and pardons for all those here illegally play directly into the number of Representatives allotted to each state.

     a very Insidious cancer.

I don't think the founders ever envisioned one-party trying to destroy the very processes which allow it to be.

I am certain no one ever could. After all who invisions members of the same  family all fighting for the sake of fighting and not pulling together?

Lets say hypotheticaly that these people get their way. Then What?

It is sad to me the most  broken part of our government operates by a democray based methodolgy. Scary really.

I must have missed the democratic republic part, where is it? From everything I have read it is a Representative Republic they created and did their best to avoid the mistakes of Democracy.

I try to not put too much blame on the enforcers of the law in cases like this.  They can't be everywhere and watching everyone.  But it is for the same reason that I support the right to bare arms.  However, I am even a supporter of open carry.

Not my intent to include the enforcers of the law.

A good friend of mine,   a cop was asked by me a certain question.

Around 2008, 2009 during the height of the putrid Islamic Obama administratiin.

I said how do you feel about people carrying guns?

I mean hey you have to deal with this shit every day as a police officer for the city.

I said inlight of the home breakins occuring what do you think? I have not carried a weapon since I was in the army.

He said my job is not  to protect you!

It is your job to protect you and the ones you love until I can get there.

I then went and purchased several guns.

    Nuff said.

    Obamas America a nightmare!

It's funny you say fiery and hot, because again, when you have allot of desire, the desire is not the source of the fire and hotness. It is the resistance through which the current of your life force or desire flows that causes you to experience that resistance as hot and fiery. That doesn't mean desire is hot and fiery.

It's like I am going to slap my own face. And then I'm going to show you my hand. "Ilumairen, this hand of mine... Is pain..."

Oh child stop smoking so much weed she is being nice..... for now.

    Valid question.

I am of the same view as Chuang Tzu.  We prefer there were no need for laws.  That is, everyone would do the right thing.  We know that ain't gonna happen.  There are many who would do whatever they want, regardless of who it hurts, if they think they can get away with it.

    Therefore the need for laws.

I consider myself a realistic Anarchist just as I consider myself a realistic optimist.

We know how thing could be but we also know that there will always be those who are willing to violate the rights of others.

But I can still live my personal life as both an Anarchist and an optimist.  But I must never close my eyes to reality.

Thats why in the old days everyone carried a 6 shooter on both hips Pardner, ya done wrong ya got shot!

Proof most did right is that people are still here.

One of my coworkers got held up in a convenience store this week, only one with a gun was the asshole holding people up... So much for law protecting people.

  7. OMG she is totaly perfect, I love her! My favorite Doctors where the 4th Baker and Peter Capaldi.

This  Brilliant woman has aspects of both, loved the first episode can not wait for all that follow.

  8. Omkar dimension is from the very first Kriya. It is a foundation point of all which follows.

In the Second Kriya there are 3 parts. The Thokar of the head movement is in the second part.

There are many techniques from the different branches.

They are all effective, but not all fit for everyone. For example Sri Mukherjee teaches what he learned a very basic householder set of techniques.

I helped him because I thought this was very good and would help many people. Furthermore the techniques are such that even without an engaged teacher there is little danger to the student as they deal with purification only.

Hariharanada was unique. His approach to teaching was very different.

    1. He was scientific and showed the biological reactions to his practices.

    2. He was very loving and kind to all he met. The Omkar dimension to his teaching was one foundation point the second was love.

Without love, you hit a wall no technique will take you past, the heart must open.

I have met and learned from Swamis and Householders from this lineage of Lahiri Baba and others.

Don is a nice person and a good teacher, he cares about people and teaches how Paramahamsa Hariharananda did. There are no Organizational politics with Don. These techniques were meant to be shared and he is doing so just the way he was given, he is now giving.

I spoke with my dear friend Ennio Nimis yesterday, he is very pleased and we are going to help Don in his never before done manner of teaching.

Keep an eye out, very soon Ennio will be dedicating a page on his site  to Don and the Gurus of the lineage.

Lahiri Mahasaya, Sri Yukteshwar, Paramahnsa Yogananda, Paramahamsa Hariharananda.

In closing this reply concerning Guru Attitude  I would like to share as told from Don what Paramahamsa Hariharananda used to say to people.

Don’t Worship me, be like me, if I can do it you can do it.

Just trying to respect the OP is all. Maybe whitesilk will chime in with some thoughts on the various topics raised.

Respect is good, the OP is honored by the evolution they started.

Well let's discuss.. maybe in a new thread since we have already had people say we derailed this one.

Why switch? Derailing threads is more common than sand on the beach, let it develop as it will.

  11. In the last month I reconnected with one of my Kriya Lineages. There is one over the years which has always brought me back no matter where I wandered and whom I learned from.

These are the Kriya practices of Paramhamsa Hariharananda. I have a friend in New York City his name is Donald Abrams or Don.

Donald is a personal student of Paramahamsa Hariharananda. He was taught all 6 different levels of Kriya by Paramahamsa Hariharananda himself and given the job of teaching sincere seekers by him .

Parmahamsa Hariharananda was one of the younger ones back in the days of Swami Sri Yukteshwar and Pamahamsa Yogananda.  He was initiated and learned first Kriya from Swami Sri Yukteshwar. He learned second Kriya from Yogananda. Later Yogananda authorized him to initiate and teach Kriya Yoga.

Donald has been practicing for over 30 years and doing initiations and teaching for close to the same amount of time. Up until now he has worked a full time job and been very, very careful about who he teaches.

Don and I have known each other since oh I guess around 2012 or so. He set me straight on a few things and was very helpful.

He recently gave me instruction on Second Kriya which I have been practicing. In the past week or so at work I have noticed and increased ability to remember and work out complex issues at work. So I apologize for my earlier remarks it does indeed appear this does work as the O.P. was asking.

Don has also decided to open up the teaching to others in a very different manner than has ever been done before. Don recognizes that the world we live in has changed allot and it is time the transmission of the practices have as well, to reach the maximum amount of people.

    Very good thought.

So Everything, to you, karma is more a state of being than the previous meaning of acting with intent? I am inclined to disagree. I guess the literal translation of the word is work. I had a 'karma' yoga book, coupled with the 'bhatki' or love yoga. The book I gave away when finished to an oriental Indian. 'work' would denote action, and 'love' is an intangible concept. Perhaps I am putting my own interpretation into your writing above.

Everything is correct from the point of view of the tuning fork.

Switch your point of view and reread what was shared. You have to go cosmic.

Most of the Indian stuff is very practical within a cultural context. It deals with this world these people right here right now.

The higher stuff gives you tools to discover for yourself. When you do know you will not talk so much.

When you are still fresh to knowing you will talk much to remind yourself you do know and want to help others to as well before continuing the journey.

Oh I have what I consider  good experience with smoking for about nearly 9 years.  Used to smoke a pack of cigarettes (or more) every day.  So, I know something about addiction.

I quit on 2001, it's been 17 years now.  I could relate to your experience, and it sounded  like addiction in my view, as I stated earlier.

9 years oh my goodness you were just getting started.😁

    Just kidding.

Habit. You had a habit, I had a habit.

Addiction is different. Addiction is out of control.

Habit which one enjoys is different.

I recognized illness brought on by smoking. Bronchitus, Pneumonia.

    Best to stop.

    I did.

    Addiction is different.

    illness recognized.

    Cause known.

    Continues anyway.

My Father knew better,  died of lung cancer age 55.  That my friend is addiction.

It is kind of like the definition of insanity. Doing rhe same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

I've gotten a headache from reading the first page of posts. The simple question was simply answered with the first post by Jeff, and now I have a headache. How did the other three pages come into form? Could someone give me a sparknotes of the forth and back of the past few hours?

Sorry just love stirring the pot. 😀

Where is what? Addiction? Not sure.

What you described fits my definition of addiction.  Doesn't matter what happened later or when.   Everything transforms sooner or later.  That doesn't mean they were not what they were at one snapshot.

Your definition is one of supposition not life experience. But thats ok keep acting until you get the role down one day you will be your talk and more.

You are sincere and try hard I like that. Ok done playing  fortune cookie. ;)

It is sad to see such generalizations calling all realization as the same.  It took me a while to understand the differences.

Perhaps then you can explain in your own words without citing writings?  I would be interested in this.

Pleasure or bliss is often taught as something that someone has to let go of. The Buddha talked about it often.

I suppose the Buddha probably did say that, but I do not go along with he over intellectualization of the Buddha based philosophies, or the ideas that became Buddhism that grew out of Hinduism. Heck for that matter I have no idea which Buddha you are referring to there are so many different ones.

So of interest what is the difference between a Bhudda and a Jivenmukta are they not really one and the same? It seems to me one incarnates and is active with the people and the other gets big books people can quote from?
