  1. You know sometimes it is really easy to get stuck in the past.

I apologize to S1va. He just reminded me we had become friends. When he wrote these words to me I had to remember this was true. In remembering I realized I was reacting out of old hurts I never let go of.

    Apologies S1va.

Laughing no but you are. It's ok I understand and will do my best not to upset you to the point you start acting like you just did.

Calling someone a 'ranting loon' may be fun for you.  But I don't it is fun for the other party.  Otherwise it wouldn't have come to our attention.

It is heated as far as I am concerned.  Also, you are talking as if you know my past and where I am right now.  We hardly know each other besides exchanging some messages.  It's true, I have leaned a lot about many things including people, but I don't think it's any of your business. I would respect and not make presumptions or complain about any of my past direct exchanges with anyone, either directly or behind that person.

    My, my, temper temper.

  5. Oh and OP By creating this thread you have now opened the door to the energy that is propelling the other. The Trump Phenomena is big, very big energy for this entire world at this time in history. To create a thread referencing it has brought you into it. Welcome.

My thoughts and some others were just about sheer amount of activity in this thread, and the problems that invariably arise from these heated political discussions, resulting in some type of insults and then later as reports to staff!

Heated? There has been lots of discussion and people being honest and getting on each others nerves a bit but I would hardly define the discussions as heated. I will admit I have had too much fun amusing myself and Kar3n asked me to reign it in a modify a post but no one in that thread has really gone too far.

I would think the sheer amount of activity would be good in a few aspects.

#1. Does this site not rely on advertisement for a portion of it's operational aspect?

#2. The thread is very real, people in my observation try to separate spirituality from the world to one degree or another and that is a false path. Spirituality is the world down in the dirt and the sweat of this world this world and all of its conflicts, ugliness beauty and harmony are spiritual.

#3. In that Trump thread people are getting in touch with what they are passionate about and are engaged. People are also growing up and developing from that thread, including myself. I maintain that when you are certain and passionate about something to the point where you feel like screaming and you learn instead to come back off the ledge and regain your equanimity and discuss instead of rant that a growth has occurred. A very real one.

#4. That thread is a "Deep Dive" not a sanitary one of like minded individuals or ones who have agreed to certain Ism's or agree upon certain immutable truths. This is a deep dive into raw truth of peoples feelings. It is the difference between swimming in a pool and a hurricane whipped ocean at times.

Some people like to engage in sanitary "Deep Dives" the Deep Dives occurring in the Trump Thread is more visceral, more honest, less fanciful and all the false airs are dropped, very honest. Here souls are connecting in a very real way and benefiting from the contact growing from the interaction.

Some are learning that the ways they were indoctrinated due to environment are not immutable. Some are learning how to become free of gender bigotry and domination. Some are so interested in the stories that they are researching and educating themselves and others and all are getting an education as to how the nation works.

I have met new personalities and enjoy them some I thought ewwww I don't care for so much I really like a lot. So here is the spiritual aspect of that thread. It is very basic and down to earth. Honest interaction.

If we set aside a room in our house for prayer, meditation or spiritual activities, it would make sense to primarily use that place for that purpose.  So that eventually that place itself is charged with spiritual energy.

That is trying to control things and is not real. Everything is spiritual already the energy comes from stillness and silence and there was never a place or a time where it is not already present. There is no need to build sanctuaries or holy spots or attempt to imbue it with a certain quality or " Spiritual Energy"  your true sanctuary is equally in the heart of the storm as it is at the alter or the shrine. Equally in celibacy and the embrace of your lover.

To actualize this in life wherever and however you find yourself is very difficult and those that disagree should hold back judgement until their next significant life altering even occurs.

This forum is a virtual space.  If we let a TV run in that prayer or meditation room, 10 hours a day with shows from CNN or Fox, it won't be conducive to some.  Personally, it's all fine with me.

I am glad you end this paragraph with it is fine with you but doubt that it is.:)

Many many people come here to these forums everyday seeking help in Spirituality and many other things

Yet many more are participating actively in the Trump Thread. Like I said it is all spiritual. Besides as a virtual environment that thread is segregated so I don't see the point. People are going to be drawn to what they need most and those that have it to offer will in turn be lead to do so.

Look at your own history and where you are today. You went after things you thought you wanted and did not get them because it was a bad match. Overtime you found what is working with you and others with whom you dive. This is good, is it not?

  7. Thanks for the input s1Va. Thinking about this a little more the Trump thread has become a few things for me.

    #1. Educational,

I used to think that allot of the Left wing people could not be serious in their positions.

I used to think allot of the Right Wing people could not be serious in their positions.

Now I know for certain that both really do believe in their position and have a better idea as to why.

#2. Conformational: I have learned that what I suspected all along is that once most people (Not All) cork off and blow off a little steam there can be some genuine conversations and learning from different points of view. Therefore there is hope for the nation as a whole and it is going to be alright.

#3.Informational: Prior to learning of the Trump thread I used to just catch the news here and there and shake my head allot wondering what the heck was wrong with people.

#4.Entertaining: On oh so many levels and I really enjoy most all of the people in the thread,  especially the ones I do not agree with as it challenges me to step outside of my own assuredness and look at things from different points of view.

  10. I was a little unhappy with the spoilers this morning  but echo the sentiment.

We have a real top notch doctor with Whittacker and good supporting cast the writers so far are not reaching the excellence displayed with Capaldi's and Tenant's doctor.

They seem to be leading up to something big with her though, the third episode hinted at a veiled past she lacks complete knowledge of when she was surrounded by the sheet like creatures and they were calling out her fears.

This is to assume the only thing being discussed is Trump. There is soo much more than this simple analysis implies.

And that there are only two parties..

Agreed I am finding that thread very useful for staying up to date with current issues and well,  Trump has allot to do with current issues comes with being president. There are also more than two parties represented. It is not just Left and Right Democrate and Republican  but those that fall somewhere in-between.

I've known lots of pot smokers in my life, and not a one of them ever expressed experience of anything even remotely close to a kundalini awakening. I find it far more likely that a natural awareness of how past experience effected present circumstance was arising in the subconcious of the op, and finding expression in a way his conscious mind could become aware of.

This (the awareness and unravelling of learned modes of thought) is natural when a certain ripeness (sometimes only regarding the specific learned thought patterns) is reached.

    Well said.

Raising the Kundalini by heavy drug use is what I called as one of the dumb brute force methods.  It was not in relation to weed, and before Yokon shared his personal experience.  I wrote something about it after his post also, to let go what happened in the past.

Using drugs, it used to be called as medicinal  herbs, was one of the 5 or 6 standard or documented ways to raise the energy as per very early texts from various traditions.  There is a proper name in the tradition for this method.  It is called the 'Oushadhi Marga' or the herbal/medicinal path.  Mainly  hallucinogenic herbs were used by masters who had the expert knowledge over them to raise the energy in the aspirant in a safe way, under their supervision.

This knowledge is completely lost over the centuries and no one advocates this method anymore for various reasons.  Generally it results in various complications as is clear from what I have seen in my experience.  If it happened, it just happened.  There is no point in dwelling over any past experience.  Experiences are just that, whether it is a beautiful experience or terrible experience are all qualifications and labels our mind likes to add to these stories.  And yes, I consider taking drugs with the aim to to raise Kundalini or energy is a dumb brute force method, when there are so many other safe alternative methods available.

Your opinion has been duly noted... and rejected.

well.. as already stated above i had my awakening through the influence of weed while meditating. I saw a light and felt energy moving up my spine. I felt better and better, probably the best i ever felt. Than i hit some sort of a bottle neck, the light stopped and i heard voices. The voices became louder, like i big crowd. They where incredible real, and i never experienced something like this before. Anyway the crowd had a very negative vibe. They booed me, and the more interesting part is they called me a faggot.

So then i had this huge flashback that my father shamed be for being gay at a very young age (i touched the willy from my best friend in kindergarden). This confused my quite a lot. I learned a few things about me  since then: I am bisexual, i am a homophob and i am deeply afraid of being gay. So this is my gay kundalini story, don't know what to do with this.. any help is appreciated

You were blocked at the throat chakra. There is a knot there. Everyone has it until the open it a bit.

You were not booed by any outside forces or anything else you might be imagining.

As you already correctly surmised it is your own past experiences and your unresolved feelings. Just remember it is okay to be Homosexual, Bisexual or even Heterosexual. The most important thing is to have good loving relationships and that includes the one with your self.

When it comes to the weed well that is a personal choice and contrary to what has been shared here it is not a dumb or brute force method. It is not a method I use or would ever advocate but it happened as a part of your journey through existence here with the rest of us so it is important and beautiful.

There are however better ways and easier ways to open to the Kundalini.

Lastly think on this we all carry both sides of the divine within us. The Divine Female and the Divine Male. They constantly seek union especially through the alter of the spine but you must prepare the alter first to avoid complications.

So you learn from the short lasted experience of the conditional joy, and become an unconditional joyoush being, who cares only about how they feel. No longer waiting for circumstances before allowing yourself to feel better, for the sole purpose of feeling better, and nothing else. Then you can flow naturally with the intention of your soul. That creates every experience for the joyoush fulfillment of your desire that it knows and guides you towards at all times through your emotion.

Now you are getting closer to tantra.

Yeah, there is a Rock-A-Billy song:  "I ain't never had too much fun" but I think that I may have over-done it just a little bit.

My Step Grandfather was a great guy, he was a Rockabilly star. When you said rockabilly it clicked and I was able to finally find a song he used to sing and by God he did it allot better than this fellow.

The song used to crack me up when he would sing it.

    Enjoy Marbs.

What if its the states government that is or becomes the mmm enemy?

As what seems to be happening with sanctuary cities,  states  ect.

There is nothing that can be done.

Our Governments are not held accountable by the people. The people have been indoctrinated and educated to choose against their own best interests.

The people are too busy fighting with each other,   over asinine political party stance. Our so called representatives only represent their own interests and those of the wealthy (Of which I might add they are always a member of the wealthy otherwise they could never afford to run for office) (Hello closed loop)

America is becoming a left wing democracy it has very attractive features. You have the wealthy elites on top and everyone else well here enjoy your tent.

    Take California for example.

Here is the present state of things in California.
