  1. Guru Yoga is a great practice. In simple terms you connect energetically with an advanced being. Tapihritsa is a favorite of mine. Mantra and energetic connections are used. The 1st purpose is to purify the body speech and mind. The 2nd purpose it receive essentially what is a firmware and software upgrade from an advanced being who has already arrived. You can learn here https://www.ligminchalearning.com/starting-a-meditation-practice/ and here is a video of Guru Yoga a guided practice you may enjoy.

Good job bro, I am happy you are getting through this just remember all the Chakras are how our awareness expresses. Crown should purify the lower ones so the expression improves. 🤗
  3. Electric Cars : A Myth ?

Sounds great but something still needs to generate the electric whether it’s internal combustion or from the grid. Seems to me fuel cell to generate the electric is perfect and capacitors over batteries or in conjunction with until something better comes along is great. As for batteries Lithium Ion and other older tech is where I get the heartburn when there are other technologies like sodium ion that would be far better. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium-ion_battery

When I owned my Prius I could indeed feel the changes. It was not harmful just a feeling of the fields moving. Washing over me like a wave. I would smile and think ah okay this is not quite right yet but we are doing out best. Glad to try to be a part of a solution. I really love the concept but feel without sufficient shielding and still blending with gas it is a fork on the wrong limb. I hate the idea of precious earth metals being used wrongly in infantile battery technology that only serves nation states like China who have an abundance of said ore and while I am no genius to me it seems using them for this purpose is like a dumb ape looking at fire feeling fire and missing all that still can be from heat. These precious ores have a far more valuable use, this I Know but can not say what, but it is like on the tip of my tongue to remember. Fuel cell is the way forward for now, but profits are in the way, so sad. Really sad. Emission equals water win, win. When lifting such a vehicle extreme caution must be undertaken electrocution is a very real thing. DC is far more dangerous than AC and 440 Volts of it will most certainly kill. Electric has its place but not like this. Clearly fuel cell technology is the way to go.
  7. Electric Cars : A Myth ?

FYI I am a former Mercedes Technician. I owned Toyota's for years some of my Favorites being the Celicas from the mid to late 80's they were excellent vehicles in every way. As a former owner of a Prius I must caution you against the purchase. I purchased a 2008 Model Toyota corolla brand new it was a Lemon. Had to have Cams replaced in under 7,000 miles and that was only one of the many issues with that car. The dealership and I went round and round on that and I was taking them to court over it but we settled on me receiving full compensation for the Lemon and taking the over $12,000.00 in Equity I had in the vehicle as a result of a substantial down payment and put it into the more expensive 2010 model Prius. At first I was happy with the vehicle but after a few 4 hour trips across state I was convinced age was catching up with me or something because I was so tired after the trips. When I traded it in it only had 16000 miles on it and was fully paid off. Within 16,000.00 miles not only did the batteries degrade quite a bit but the suspension and the strut towers were making all kinds of noises. Really not what I experienced with the earlier bullet proof Toyotas. The ride is hard and you are low to the ground and feel every bump in the road. Just would hate to see you buy what I experienced. While I have no experience with Tesla if you can afford it, that would be the way I would go after my experiences with later model Toyotas and the prius in particular. If you service your own vehicles it is also a real bitch to change the oil without a lift you have to jack them up higher than what is safe crawl under them unfasten a belly pan made of plastic swing it out of the way and then the oil filter is like on a Mercedes just a shell with a wick and an O-Ring requires 10 FT Lbs of pressure only when tightening and take a specialty tool. If you overtighten expect a leak. This is not the kind of vehicle I would trust to just any oil shop to change the oil either as it can appear to be turned off and suddenly the engine can start. Lowest rookie techs always get the oil changes, senior techs avoid them. Not a great combo. Honda however as far as I know still is the premium Japanese Manufacturer and in my opinion having worked on many of them over the years in my Non Mercedes role they are very well engineered, true over the years they have made some major gaffs with timing belts and interference engines but I think most of that has passed by now.

  10. It is clear you are of a different opinion I respect that.
  11. No CT that is exactly the point nor have I named the member or the tread because doing so will only further please the aggressive person who started the character assignation attack on another member and is trying to win a fight by doing so. Think on that. Furthermore the words are neither strong nor aggressive they are just and it is unjust for people to do as I have seen and discussed here. If you think that behavior is acceptable then we are in disagreement.
  12. Yeah I don’t care for people starting threads just for the sake of attacking other members. There is a recent example of this distasteful cowardly behavior targeting another member. Just because this site is soooo relaxed in it’s moderation does not in my opinion justify publicly made attacks in the form of entire threads dedicated to a member. What do I know though never read the TOS just common sense these are attacks and should not stand.
  13. Good point! I would like to think I would. Reminds me of years ago there was a Japanese man who was WW2 era Japanese. I could feel his presence across the room he was good and loving and gentle yet strong for as small as he was he should not have been able to lift outboard motors on a boat with one hand but not only did but held it in mid air while my brothers and I untangled the prop. He would smile and laugh and say Oh Nay hurry this thing is heavy, and smile a big toothy grin as he held it effortlessly. There was a certain quality to him that drew the eye and your heart would feel gentle and peaceful and loving around him. It was a bit like an electric switch when out of his presence it turned off. So I always have thought this is what a truly spiritually advanced being is. Nice fellow turned out he was the former head of some high department having to do with acupuncture in Japan. His name was Takatoshi Ida. He went by Ida. Which sounds like E da He was a doctor and did indeed cure me with Acupuncture once from the flu of all things!! After he was done he said now you go lay down, you going to get very tired. So I went home and no sooner did I climb into bed I fell out into a deep sleep. I woke 4 hours later completely fine. He has been a good memory for the last 36 years.
  14. Electric Cars : A Myth ?

Owned a Prius from 2009 till 2013. It was the most horrible shoddy built thing I ever bought brand new. Driving it was tiring over long trips which negates fuel savings because I did not want to go anywhere in it. In the years I owned it I watched the mileage drop from 54 miles per gallon to around 39 and 40. Clearly the batteries were dropping out and the damned thing always made high pitches electrical noises and hummed. 440 volt of DC is allot to push. Come 2013 always needed a truck to do stuff around the house traded it in for a full size truck. In 2014 made a 6 to 700 mile road trip and realized I still felt fresh and just how horrible the Prius really was. Never looked back, will never buy another electric or hybrid car. Then again a Prius ain’t no Tesla...

  18. Lol, I feel ya Steve My Grandfather whom I love more than any man I have ever known was as rough and tough as you get. Retired Army WW2 Vet who saw all kind of action in the Philippians. He had to Kill the Japanese soldiers with his bare hands at times. Stuff he never spoke of until he found out I joined the Army. From the earliest memories I have of him he would not tolerate any sign of weakness whatsoever at all. He taught me to be tough and how to take pain. Driving down the road he would reach over and grab the inside of my thigh pinch and twist and look at me and say how do you like this turtle bite? What the matter ya gonna cry?! Go Ahead I'll stick you in a fucking dress. I would grit my teeth and think of all the hateful things I would do to him to get even when I got big. He could see it in my squinted eyes and would lay off. Another time in the 70's when glass stove tops were new he yelled at me saying don't touch that fucking stove top it's hot and I don't want to here you fucking cry. I looked him in the eye and slammed my hand on the burner. He flew across the room and yanked my burnt hand off the burner exclaiming you mean little sonofabitch! and doctored my wound. Another time a kid was picking on a girl in class was poking people with a pencil really hard and I said knock it off. He decided he was going to stab me in the face with the pencil. I threw up my hand and took the pencil in the palm then slugged the shit out of him. Needless to say got sent to the nurse and the principals office. Grandad was visiting he picked me up and sung my praises for not being a little pussy and taking a stand. My Mother his daughter was aghast and kept saying Dad he likes to fight too much already you can't encourage that he is going o get thrown out of school. Grandad laughed all the harder saying God Damn it Sharon are you trying to raise little girls?? Some day he is going to be a man and he better damn well learn how to fight. Mom was right I got thrown out of school allot. Smiles. Poor Mom! I had two brothers who grew up with me and it was pretty common for us to bicker and see who would break first. I ran Landscaping Crews for years mostly with EX Convicts as employees and those well on their way. So yeah we know the rough side of life. I agree listen to Kar3n she is a good moderator who actually cares about the community here.

  21. Well if you die in utero then you got just a little bit of this life experiences and it is allot shorter than what those who achieve adulthood experience. Smiling I assure you it does not become mundane, and you still care because even as impossible as it is there is the wish for others to experience what you are as well instead of being stuck with the tiny amount they experience of life and often dully. There is a feeling of love for others. The overiding sentiment is I wish I could give this to you and you could know this as well. Just gotta experience it to comprehend it. You are correct. It sure is from any other perspective than that of bliss. When there is little to nothing one can do it might also be argued it is not only the only response left but the best one possible. Think of the Zen monk hanging from a tree root a cherry above a tiger below and to grab the cherry is to fall into the maw of th tiger which will happen anyway when the grip is lost, so he reaches up and exclaims how sweet it is. Now you are getting warmer. It does not take full enlightenment even a few shallow experiences that transforms you just enough is sufficient. Let see if I can reword it by starting with the mechanics of the situation. First you need to have a few Kensho moments ( these are insights into reality as it is or mini experiences of enlightenment that happen over time and can be pretty subtle or hugely rock your boat either way they build up over time) I seriously doubt the full enlightenment can happen all at once anyway. Then you need to do practices for a while until the crown opens and experience all that follows from that and it is quite allot. After that if you will simply inhale from the nostrils with a feeble easy breath that becomes ever more shallow on its own and follow it 3 to 4 inches into the skull and then go straight up into the crown you will find your seat of awareness moved into this area. All you do is practice this simple easy practice and allow yourself to become absorbed in the crown. Over time this will resolve into different states of conscious awareness and samadhi's of different depths. During the day you maintain this lightly without effort and soon it just does it on its own. The effect builds and you find yourself even as Lost in translation mentioned with his holding an un-moving center. What this feels like is you are more connected with the crown or fontanel than any other part of your body, your thoughts really slow down and become far and few between. There is calmness, there is a feel of being here but also elsewhere which becomes more and more real as time goes on and the profane world but a shadow of what is generating it.. Everything takes on a different luster and colors become more vibrant sounds more acute and so on. People become beautiful and you feel love which is sometimes overwhelmingly beautiful, the heart softens and you feel more profoundly. It also becomes difficult to be around very dense people. You also develop an aversion to talking or having to respond to people in a pre-accepted mode they expect from you due to their familiarity with accustomed response patterns. Things change quite a bit and if continued who knows how far and permanent things will become? I have not had the luxury of taking this all the way to the furthest degree as I have always had to work and interact with people and a former ex-wife who was as hide bound to the what you can touch see and feel of this and the profane material reality of earth as any have ever been. Perhaps when I am old and towards the end I will kick out all the stops. As it is right now I carry quite a bit of this with me as it never goes away completely and am still growing into it even though I do fluctuate. Once started the momentum keeps going. The holding ones center here is in the 7th Chakra and it often goes up into the 8th and beyond. After the 7th you are entering into the lower chakras of the astral body. In each chakra your awareness is altered, colored, influenced in such a way that expresses the dimension or lolka and the psyco emotional quality of said realm. In the crown there is stillness silence and spaciousness to borrow Bon terms, there are great waves of pleasurable energy that enter through the crown and cascade through the body with feelings of great pleasure / bliss. Where ever an obstruction or illness is in the body it interacts and when it does you feel vibration, which can become very strong and make the hairs stand up all over your body and it can be orgasmic in every cell. You also experience feelings of divine love during the life force working with the thing in need be it an obstruction or an illness and it is a love that expects nothing it just is an rises spontaneously. You can also experience hearing inner-sound from the vibration. The attitude is one of calm satisfaction and timelessness hours can slip past as if they were minutes and there is not a real concern nor care about much of anything you know things have to get done so you just do them in a very detached yet caring manner. The problem with this is you are adorning the high heavens and not your physical life. You are missing out on the very opportunities that challenges offer as you are emotionally altered and distant and your sentiments are not the normal. There is also a danger of being to present in the high heavens and becoming careless here and now and careless is followed by wreckless which can be followed by unneeded tragedy. Example during my peak work with this I came off a highway the off ramp was posted 25 miles per hour I was driving by feeling while in the high heavens it was not until I feel the cab of my truck lifting I realized something was off. I looked and I was doing 50 how the truck did not flip and roll I will never know. At that moment I did not care either other than I did not want the person behind me to get in a wreck as they were following too close in a sports car. Now all that being said everything in proportion eventually you learn to live with this and as time goes on it gets stronger. If you can do this all it takes is a little practice and even when you stop it does not. I do not practice this, it does however practice me.
