  1. This is a quick practice, out of many, that is practical, can be done on a roller coaster if need be. and works every time and instantly. Think of something that agitates you. see how that effects you on all levels. Now imagine the sound of a snowflake hitting the ocean. More than likely a smile will appear powered by a willfully produced sense of peace. Its quick but can be held with a little practice. The only point and motive to this little article is that it may help some. Regards to all. Sifu Wolf
  2. The illusion of time.

A brief note on how quickly such illusions develop. If one were to, hypothetically have the audacity, to fragment the tao into labels and individuals, then one creates a situation of this and that. Eg. When one calls this a tree and that a whale, now it takes TIME to get from the so called tree to the so called whale. Without name and label everything is here at once, universally. No time. Just now. This is why the masters call it the void. you are very big. Now of course, if one can truly see this reality then one must ask, why do we age if indeed there is no time? The only certainty in life is change, and the options as to how many directions one can change in layman society is the program of age. BUT there are many more options outside of the square box. A persons comfort zone is also that persons solitary confinement. The other options are outside of the square box and ones comfort zone ,( solitary confinement). Anyway , digression has crept in. Regards Wolf.
  3. New hello

Hello to the rest of the tao. This bit has been an ordained taoist monk (mystic) living in monasteries deep in the mountains of Tibet, northern China and northern Thailand for over 35 years. This skinbag is now head trainer at Tao Wu Shin Temple in Australia. Unfortunatly this is the first computer these fingers have touched, so its all one finger typing for now and bad spelling. Please bear with. My students call me wolf. As my computer skills improve i hope to be able to chat with other liberated minds. Till then. Regards Wolf, abbott Tao Wu Shin temple
  4. The Taoist Mystic

This is a very brief description of the method of undoing the debilitating human condition of being habitually fixated on the contents of ones own mind and returning to the very essence of all that there is. The Tao. Of course the tao is all that there is and contains the so called cosmos, but that is a much larger topic. Although a very easy one unless you are totally self centered. Now that brings us to the main point of this article. When you were born you were fundamentally a state of the art, pristine clean blob of mind in a skin bag , not a thought in sight, and you pretty much remained that way for the first year, enlightened. Didn't an arab once say " come to me with the mind of babes if you would enter the kingdom of heaven "?. Anyway, about a year later people, radio, tv etc start to fill that serene mind with labels, opinions and judgments which, over around a decade becomes a " self " . That part of you that was born is you, life. That part that is forced into you a year later is the self, if you take a thought from that self and break it open you will see that it is empty. It dosnt even know you are in there looking at it and yet you let each dead thought dictate every second of your lives. your eyes dont see as well as before, your ears dont hear as well, but the awareness of those things has not changed one jot since you were born. If you negate everything that you are aware of, INCLUDING, thoughts and emotions until you arrive at awareness you have arrived at that which was born. The divine you. The Eternal you as it is not of matter The you that is the the born tao, we call the HOST. The filthy program that enslaved the skin bag and is busy killing it with selfishness is called the GUEST. If you are watching your thoughts you are enlightened. If you are thinking and mindlessly acting or grunting in response to that thought you are a pleb. So, we have a case of use it or lose it. If you start watching you are effectively exercising that part of you that is not physical, if your only reason for getting up is for the I, ME, MY,MINE etc you are a puppet to an illusionary self, a self that will do nothing but chase want and self significance, an enemy to oneness. The true taoist mystic returns to the one and all that it contains. Weather you are a god or a sun or a whale or an alien on another planet, you are of two things only, a universal animating force (yang) and matter (yin) there is nothing that is not of this. The method of tao wu shin is to wake up each morning as an empty glove and let life put you on. It dosnt take long to regain faith in reality .You know when your not thinking , so knowing has nothing to do with knowledge. wolf, Tao Wu Shin Temple.

Once upon a time a pilgrim from Bagdad met up with the plague 50 miles out of town. You look like your up to no good said the pilgrim to the plague. Im off to kill 5000 people in Bagdad replied the plague, and they went there separate ways. One week later the pilgrim, on returning to Bagdad, met up once again with the very same plague. You told me you were going to kill 5000 people, i heard that you killed 50,000. No, no, said the plague. I only killed 5000 people, the rest died of fright. Sifu Wolf
  6. The Ultimate Tao.

The ultimate Tao, in a nutshell, is the total sum of all potentiality. It reaches back eternally before the arrival of matter. It contains space, in which now contains the cosmos, and this cosmos is pregnant with life. And indeed each life is pregnant with death. A thing can only die once it has been borne, therefor a thing is eternal until it is borne. The sounds of the earth are but a click of the tongue and gods?, mere fanciful characteristics. For the Tao to fully know what it is, it must realize all potentiality which, of course, is eternal throughout and beyond space. This endless search to " know what it is", is the direction of the Tao. The ache to" know" is at the heart of all of this, and this ache is what is felt in the hearts of all true seekers. It is the driving force of life and an essential prerequisite to union with the all, Enlightenment. As any first year psychology student knows, the human mind tends to move, immediately, towards whatever is held in focus, as is in sync with the Tao, therefor an easy way for one to see where they are heading in life is to sincerely discern what is truly ones focus. If the Tao, in its entirety, lost focus on unfolding, spherically, as it does, where would that leave life? The above is purely a nice mind stretch, nothing more, nothing less. Sweet dreams. Wolf
  7. Taoist N.L.P.

No, never read a novel. Never heard of Warren Murphy either. What is it that you see?
  8. The Taoist Mystic

No, no, no. Grunts are words. Pity is imagination and souls are yet to be seen. Levity is the point above.
  9. Another Skinbag

Eyup Jing. Another Tao wu Shin Monk. See you at training. And welcome to tao bums. Sifu wolf

Hey Zbob. That was a nice absolute yin yang in a nutshell. Do you like coffee? Regards wolf
  11. The Taoist Mystic

Hello Mythmaker. The nutrients are in the contents not the package. No problem. No structure. please dont take offence, it leads to hazardous guessing, and people are watching. Theres no point to be made. Just a sincere question. Goodness, Does anyone else want to jump in on this one. Control has already given way to four letter words and judgment. As all can see. Bye.
  12. The illusion of time.

Hello shon. Sorry for the lack of clarity with the pole thing. It was just a long winded way of saying that everything that has happened in ones life, ( seemingly good or bad), is purely, without exception, what got one here today. If one jot of that life were changed, etc, etc. You know. lol ! Take care. Wolf
  13. The illusion of time.

Hey Zbob. Please , THANK YOU. A sharp, deep mind free of paragraphs. The nutrition is in the contents and not in the wrapping. The Tao contains matter and therefor physics. It also contains spirit and therefor mysticism. It contains change and therefor alchemy. If something "IS" it is in the tao. Even illusion, therefor belief and religion. If a thing "isnt" that is in the tao also. Unless there is a brick wall out there deep in space containing the cosmos, it dosnt end. One science will not cover all. On a microcosmic parallel, we need dermatologists for part of our being but also brain surgeons, dentists, etc. None of them are wrong in comparison to the other. A hand is functional because its fingers remain apart to function as one. So too, the tao and its sciences. What thinketh thou Zbob? Regards. Wolf
  14. The Taoist Mystic

Hello Zen. Wow. Tao wu shin monks are surely coming out of the woodwork these days. I see by your posts that you are still in robe. Fantastic. Tasmania hey? The temple is now taking students from France, England and for some odd reason Iceland, so its changed quite a lot since your ordination. Isnt it strange how people think mystic monks are religious priests? Ignorance and rudeness is epidemic. Take care Zen. Talk soon. Regards. Wolf.
  15. The Taoist Mystic

Hello cat. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. Your passion is obviously for the content and not the package. A true seeker. Kind regards. Wolf.
  16. The Taoist Mystic

Hello myth maker. You obviously read the one you wrote about, and responded with I dont. I wish. I can. I have to say. I present. I want. Such expectations. If " no paragraphs" rattle your cage what are you going to do in a real dilemma? The Tao Bums are not about grammar. A humble thanks to the rest of the readers who get the point. Wolf. Darin. The editing was for a forgotten signature. lol
  17. The illusion of time.

Hello Shon. Nothing is to long or short, always as a thing should be. In that, is what deserves faith in the tao. Your story is one of the human condition. It makes perfect sense. YES. They spit. But we spit back and laugh with the el pacas, not at them. They may get offended. lol See the life behind you as a tall rigid pole that, which without, you could not sit firmly high and here. Take care Shon Your friend Wolf
  18. The illusion of time.

Hello Zbob. Anything either side of now has to be memory or assumption and both can only be thought of Now. A zillion books wont get you out of now. Out there is one tao. Itself, unmoving yet its contents cannot stop. There were once two young monks arguing over the movement of a flag on a pole. One monk argued that the flag was moving. The other argued that the wind was moving. The old master crept up behind and gave them both a good whack and said " you are both wrong. It is your minds that are moving. Wolf
  19. The Taoist Mystic

Hello Shon. Please, Thank you. One looks each morn for your responses. A feeling of old friendship. The mountain was kissed for you today and yes the base of the mountain meets the ocean north of surfers paradise. Best of both worlds. Kinda yin'ish, yang'ish. TIME?, Please read this skinbags article on time and please give feedback. We have el pacas at the temple. They are our humble lawn mowers. lol. One of those got the pat on the head from you. Of course in all of this banter the Tao just typed, talked, petted, kissed and laughed. Take care shon. Thank you Wolf. PS. Forgot to paragraph. Sorry. HAA !!!

  21. A FISHY TAOIST

The TAO sees and knows itself through things that think they are people, and indeed through a plethora of things that dont. The total sum of all potentiality, cosmically, is of course the Tao. There was once a little fish swimming in the ocean, searching for the wisest of fish. Upon finding the wise fish the little fish asked " What is the sea" ? I have heard of it and searched everywhere but to no avail. The wise fish replied, You are born of the sea. It is all around you. It holds you up, it keeps you down. It nourishes you and brings air to your gills, it is the holder of all the life and forms that you see and know. And indeed little fish, when you die you will melt back into its oneness. Wolf
  22. The Taoist Mystic

Hello Cat. Thank you for your kind advice. If the layout of the grunts mean more than the point to some readers then those poor souls must live with a limited mental capacity and have our pity. But to those who dare venture beyond the solitary confinement of there mental comfort zones the points made should hopefully be pristine clear. Trivial selves are always good for a laugh. This skinbag has lectured all over the world and has had to deal with some real Neanderthals, but one must always keep in mind that the tao is all of this and is miraculous. Anyway, Darin and cat. Thank you once again and am going to make an attempt to paragraph. Bugger. lol Wolf.
  23. The Taoist Mystic

Hello shon. The night sky is just now pushing the apricot color from the evening sky here on this part of the world, and the cold is close in tow as a Siamese twin. Especially here on the mountain top. Fortunately there is no eyelid over awareness so yes always watching. Emotions following thoughts. Falling leaves following the breeze, children following parents. And change,......yes the only certainty in life is change and yet that change is permanent. Truth in paradox. Love it. lol. Life is in a state of permanent change, HA no wonder people feel that there lives are a paradox. All of this, the Tao. What else could there possibly be to see.? Please keep laughing shon, they say its contagious. Take care. Wolf
  24. The Taoist Mystic
