  1. One "issue" I have with this site.

So you are sad at the time you post this. Sadness is projected all about you in this state. Point it to a beach and you'll be sad about the beach, or job, or an internet forum. That is tao. Sadness has its place, but one of myriad. Who are you now? What is gained in judging, fighting, avoiding or running away? Nothing, except the process of judging, fighting, avoiding or running away. All of which are also tao. Who are you now?
  2. I want a diploma.

This just makes me smile. You're cute.
  3. I want a diploma.

I'm in the film maker's union and work on construction sites and meditate on site every single day. Folks get used to it... some mock it, some admire it, some ignore it, I just breath.
  4. The Wind Path

In my practice we run MCO reversed for a few cycles, then revert the flow to it's normal course for the remainder of the form.
  5. The decline and eventual fall of the USA as world superpower?

I found some of Andrew J Bacevich's books on American Imperialism/Exceptionalism to be concise and keenly insightful. The Limits of Power: The End of American Exceptionalism The Long War: A New History of U.S. National Security Policy Since World War II American Empire: The Realities and Consequences of US Diplomacy
  6. I want a diploma.

Speak your truth. The wisdom of your words will convey the credentials if the listener is listening with the intent to understand, instead of the intent to respond.
  7. The Ultimate Test

I've lost any desire to punish wrongdoing. Cease it, prevent it... but I no longer dwell on punishment and vengeance. My energy and intent is on healing.
  8. Thoughts on Ukraine / Russia Debacle?!

No way Russia is going to risk that area to any unknown. They'll be parking their muscle there for some time to come.
  9. Some Beginner Cultivation Tips

I am seriously bummed to have just found this thread and discover it, gutted.

awesome question... going to chew on that. Thanks!
  11. Unbearable bliss as a result of bouncing my legs

Bouncing is awesome for the lymphatic system. It also induces clarity and joy in my sense of self.
  12. What's the easiest way to live in the present?

I'm fully in the present every time I smash myself with a hammer.
  13. Not much money to be made curing, or preventing... but treating? Loads of cash there. Big pharma is sick and could use a dose of real medicine.

    ooh well played...
  18. Marble Gardens & Fish Ponds

So I just discovered this thread and spent the first 30 seconds trying to find where you had hidden the pics... Then I realized what you were doing and forged on, thinking I may catch the current pic (and subsequently thinking how perfectly taoist it is of you to post the pics then remove them). In the process I got to follow the story and just perceive the reactions and side dialogue... What a uniquely rare way to view your garden good sir, through the descriptive awesomeness of your digital peers!
  19. Is the TTB exhausted yet....?

Who is a master? Who decides? What defines a Grand Master over a master? These all seem like unanswerable questions to me. Yet distinctions can readily be made, between those with mastery and those without... so... again, who says who is a master of what?
  20. addiction to air, food and water

HAMLET: O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams. Act 2: Scene 2
  21. Magnet versus Copper = "almost" Levitating

    That is tasty!
  22. Request for less disciplinary action against Apech

Marblehead's not crabby, just a bit gruff.
  23. the spiral line

I'm obsessing recently on the line between yin and yang. Far more interesting to me than the qualities of yin or yang is that oscillating line between them. Like love and hate for example, where in a situation I will shift from helping to harming, or vice versa. That is to say, I'm drawn to the inertial shift, the point of demarcation where what I define as one thing is inexorably shown to be both it and its opposite simultaneously. I watch a wave cresting. As it builds, its inertia becomes more and more yang until the moment where this line is crossed and the energy of yang can no longer sustain its inertia and yin is expressed. The wave loses coherence and settles in balance. The wave itself is not made of water. The wave is moving through water. To me it appears to express itself as 'opposites'. But there is only what is. This is the action of Tao and I am sensing my seeing yin and yang as separate is an illusion that there is yin and yang, these two things inter-playing. There simply is what is. And then there is nothing. And then there is no thing. And then... fuck if I know... I'm going to the beach.
