in your own framework or path, does the Absolute have agency, make choices?

Recommended Posts

This came up in discussion on a few other threads.

Please share your views and understanding, from your own framework or path.

in your framework, Does the Absolute have agency, make choices?
And in your framework, what are the attributes or characteristics of the  Absolute?

of course this is all beyond the scope and grasp of the limitations of language and our limited understanding.  But this is (a) for the purposes of discussion, and (b) within the limitations of language, and (c) our seeking to know and describe the unknowable and indescribable.  The Absolute may go by different names.  NOTE:  This is not to say or imply that these are all identical or all the same or all equivalent, that would be simplistic and reductive and not accurate (and also quite likely offensive).  It is just a list of some examples for the purposes of this discussion:  Absolute, pure awareness, Beingness, the I AM, Source, Divinity, God, Brahman, the Dao, etc.

Thank you.
