Activities that children from low income families can take part in

Fellow bums,

 

Met a kind soul today, working to gather funds that is used to give children from low income households the oppurtinity to go on holiday. She said that she was also trying to think out of the box, that is, alternative activites that could give these children some joy. I wonder if any of you have some ideas?

here we have ( used to have  ? )  a program where kids from inland that have never seen the sea are taken to the coast for a holiday .
