Nungali Posted June 26 Reading the GIta , eating prasad , practicing bhakti * following directives of teacher in that tradition * this is pretty much like magical invocation in the western tradition ; say I want to invoke Venus ? One would decorate the temple ( spiritual working space ) in pattern form and furniture and color that relates to Venus , have a statue of Venus , clean wash and dress, feed and fumigate ( with Venus related incense ) the statue .... a bit of 'good ol' fashioned idolatry ' . of course in your case , you would have seen all this when you visit Hare Krishna Temple (if you stick around before and after the ' asat -sanga ' are there ) .

Jupp Yes, you make sense. Th 4-5 regulatorioury principles are really simple, truth be told, so I am sort of curious where the blockage comes from, as I am not very concistent. Also, in retards to the temple, we have agreed it is best I do it gradually. So at first, I will try it out now from 27-30.06, and the we will see : ) Also, what does asat -sanga mean? Nungali Posted June 26 kami dogs .... ughhhh ! You ( HKDevotees - the ones with the shaved head , little tail at the back , beads robes ... those ones (initiated or whatever the correct term is ) keep the temple hos it should be ... but what also 'should be ' is an invitation to the local or any populace that are not shaved and beaded ( HK devotee - officially ) Ie. asat-sanga to come and hear and eat . from one perspective it is allowing , well anything and any unclean psychic or even demonic energy people carry into your sacred temple ! They are usually pretty nice about it .... then the kami dogs ... I mean the asat-sanga leave .... wave and chat goodby to the last one ... and its on ! Pails of scalding water , mops , washing, scrubbing ,sterilization, 'banishing ' by fumigation , invocation, redecoration, fresh flowers , etc etc . Ahhhhh .... back to 'normal ' .... until next 'feast ' Seriously ... some people walk dog shit in there ... I seen it happen .
